create a windows password

I used to have my password of windows that was removed by a person. When I went to put a password again once, it displays an option to enter a new password without the precedent (as a matter of course) but when I entered again it showed a message that the entered password is incorrect.

kindly tell what I need to do.

Thanx

Looks like someone didn't delete your password, they probably just decided to bypass it entirely (autologin).

Another possibility is that you just has not typed a new correctly both times (it allows to confirm).

If there is another account on the PC that has administrator rights, you can use this account to force - reset the password without knowing the old.  Just open Control Panel connection of another administrator, go to your account and choose "Reset password".

  • Windows password recovery disk

I just created my windows password recovery disk in a usb flash drive. A file was generated "userkey.psw". What happens if I save the file somewhere safe and remove the file in the flash player. Later, it will work if I have forgotten my windows password?

    Help, please...

Yes, you can do what you want.  The important thing to remember is that you must place the userkey.psw back in the folder root of any external hard drive in order to to use.  You can move back in position using another computer if necessary.  Where keep you so far is entirely to you.

Consider writing the password in a safe place instead.  A disc of rest password does not reach anything other than writing that can get the password down.

Forgetting your Windows administrator login password.
With no way to get into the system, you can perform even basic maintenance, and still less a complete tune up.
Formatting is always an option, but we consider that a last resort. (In addition, guess who's going to help to reinstall all the programs lost after a wipe?)

But all hope is not lost.

    _1st method: _

The first thing check you if you forget the password. When we install windows, it automatically creates an account 'Administrator' and affects his empty password. So if you have forgotten your user account password then try this:

Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / login screen, press ctrl + alt + delete twice and it'll show classic login box. Now type "Administrator" user name (without the quotes) and leave the field blank password. Now, press Enter and you should be able to log on to Windows.

Now you can reset your password to "user accounts of-> Control Panel.

Same thing can be done in Mode without failure. In Safe Mode Windows will display this account of administrator in the login screen.

In this scenario, the only way to reset the password is to use the password reset disk. If you have created the disk of your computer, you can check out the article below to use.

Here are some tips, you can refer to this problem.

What to do if you forget your Windows password

If you have forgotten your Windows password and you are on a domain, you must contact your system administrator to reset your password. • Windows password reset disk

    Hello

I have today for the first time tried to create a reset password windows on my USB disk. I inserted the disk on my pc and followed the procedure on the screen, however, told me that there is already a disc. So who created this disk and how? I've never done this before and it's a newly installed pc.

    Here are the exact words.

There is already a disc to reset password for this user account, creating a new one will make unusable the disc already created.

Now, I have never create any disk so where it comes from?

    Thank you.

Maybe someone else did it. What is the reason - it does not matter since the creation of the new disk will make the old disk unusable. Go ahead, create the floppy, then don't forget to test immediately. An untested disc is near useless.
  • Password error cannot have been changed to my Windows password

I just change my Windows password.  At the end of the process, I got a pop-up message that maybe encountered a problem and my password may NOT have been changed.  I received an e-mail in Outlook that my password has been changed, etc, etc, etc.

My concern is if I let Windows and that I'll be able to recover using my old password or my other?  If not, where should I go for Windows help if I can't get into Windows?

    Original title: change password

    Hi Denny,

If the computer has a different user account which is administrator, you can still use the other account to reset the password of the account of the Moose (administrators can force change other user passwords).

If you are the only user of the computer, I always recommend that you create an account additional administrator on the computer that can be used for recovery or emergency situations.  This must be a local account that is not connected to a service account or by email online.  For example, on my computer I log in with my Email account, but there is also a "shawn administrator" account on the computer that has a simple password.  I've never used this account, but it's there if I need it.

So if you are involved (or even if you're not), I would create a local account on the computer as an admin full.  You're not likely to need it, but if you do, this will prevent you from becoming locked.

    1. Press + I to display the menu of charm.

  • I can't create a master password

    Hello
I can't view my passwords after a refresh "firefox". Then I tried to create a master password, because it seems to be the reason why I can't see my password, right? But who doesn't either! I get the same message: "change password failed, unable to change the master password.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problem.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile already used in the new profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting more problems.
