• 7.1.4: cannot create clones from snapshots

  I just got Vmware workstation 7.1.3 and 7.1.4 upgrade today. I'm trying to create clones of some of the snapshots in the virtual machines I created.

  Unfortunately, the wizard that appears always tells me that I can't create clones of virtual machines that are suspended or powered.

  All of my virtual machines are turned off, and it seems that I can only clone the current state of my virtual machines.

  Is there a setting I'm missing?

  When you create snapshots, there were no option so I don't think I did something wrong here.

  I am running vmware workstation on Windows 7 64 bit.

  Any help is appreciated.

  It is certainly. If the snapshot has been taken with the virtual machine power on or suspended, a clone would be in a consistent state of failure. A snapshot of a powered on or suspended VM contains the data from the memory of the virtual machine at the time the snapshot was taken.

• BUG: Open with option missing for M4A / ALAC files (OSX)

  I just discovered this bug incredibly frustrating just starting to work with M4A / ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio aka) files. Right click on a such file and by going to the "Open with" menu, hearing is absent from the list. However, manually opening the same file via by dragging the icon of the hearing or the program while open, or even via the command Open Audio in Audition all work fine. These M4A files are converted directly from iTunes. This forum works hearing CC 2014.

  After some research, I found out the reason why. The file Info.plist inside the Audition.app-> content file is apparently not a section of CFBundleTypeExtension for M4A files. Open that file and search for "CFBundleTypeExtensions." You will see a bunch of entries for this type. In fact, this piece of information tells OSX what file extensions/types can open hearing.

  Save the file, restart the computer or rebuild Launch Services database and restart OSX and viola, now when right click on a file M4A, hearing is an option!

  What I want to know from the Adobe developers is, why is this update option missing in the menu 'Open with' first and will it be fixed for the hearing?

  We record every extension we can open.  Many of the extensions that we support are "discovered" during the launch at various libraries installed and plug-ins, we wonder what they take over.  For example of formats supported by QuickTime may change with different QuickTime components install you, and the formats supported by AudioToolbox can change with versions of Mac OS X.

  The extensions that we even do not match in the dialog below.

  

  That being said, we can by adding *.m4a to our default plist.

  You will need create a cluster and shared storage configured to use vMotion (powered by migration).  Resource pool creation is optional.

  1. first of all uninstall the software

  • Click on start button, then go to programs > HP > Officejet 8600 and click on Uninstall.

  I use hp G42 370TU notebook pc, operating system windows 7 (32). A few days back, my headset & speaker option missing only digital out after staring windows. Speaker option & its available after restarting the laptop for several times. After this problem I download & installed the audio driver of hp. But this problem is not solved. Last updated antivirus software is installed on my laptop. I tried reinstalling windows.sound appear after restarting the laptop of seveal times .but once again, he ran out of closing down or sleep or hibernet. I installed latest & old realtec audio driver available for this laptop.but after the beginning of the digital output only windows & the audio driver is missing also. At that time the troubleshooting of microsoft shows no devices speakers or headphones is not connected.please tell me about the probable solution for this problem.

  No, you were not in the current download page.  Since at least version 3 (perhaps earlier, I don't remember), you still need to register / log in to download the Player. VMware Player: Run Windows 8, Google Chrome OS on Virtual PC and click the download button on this page - takes you to the login page or the current version download page.

  Is not possible, you deploy virtual machines from a template, there is no correlation between the models and the cloned virtual machine once it is deployed. The concept of a linked Clone has references to her parents for the basic disk, this can not happen when deploying a model. To create a Clone related, there must be cloned virtual machine and not a model and second, theres not even a method exposed to it through the official API in VI 3.5, there is however a new property in vSphere API.

  What Timo says is that there is a bug in 11.1.1.5 when you use the restore operation in a table. It is not the cause of the behavior you want in connection, but the only solution to the bug at the moment is to use the version 11.1.1.4 or 11.1.2. As it seems that you are just in the process of learning, I suggest you practice with what you do in 11.1.1.5, or are you really just learning and not not only in versions, simply enter 11.1.2 and continue with this version.

• Advanced box option missing in the dialog create/edit view - 4.0.3
