• ASA Site to not tunnel no transmission of traffic for some subnets after awhile

  We have a question really strange tunnel from site to site on several ASAs.

  We organize VPN tunnels between a small site and three largest.

  The den has an ASA 5505, the other three principles are ASA 5510.

  One of the tunnels working for months without problems.

  Each tunnel has several class C network.

  example Site:

  -192.168.50.0/24 (named A1)

  -192.168.51.0/24 (called A2)

  Site b:

  -192.168.60.0/24 (named B1)

  -192.168.61.0/24 (called B2)

  On two faulty tunnels, all is well at the beginning. After a few days (1-14) some networks to cease to work. So I can ping both A1 and A2 B1 network networks, but only from A2 B2 network. Pings from A1 to B2 doesn't expire. The ASA site showed tx = 0 traffic for <=>A1, B2, but progressive count rx traffic. ASA b it shows rx = 0 to B2<=>A1 and tx counties upward.

  This happens unexpected after different periods. Sometimes he hits ASA on site B, where tx = 0, it is sometimes ASA on A site.

  I tried to fix it as a result of orders:

  but nothing has worked. The only solution for now is to restart the ASA where tx County indicates 0. After restarting, everything goes well for a while.

  On one of the affected sites, we have a failover configuration - ASA. A failover of the active device also solves the problem. But if you change your prior back restart the old principal question will return immediately.

  I think that there is no configuration because:

  -All tunnels are configured in the same way, and one of them is running for moths without any problem

  -Tunnels work for all combinations of subnet after a reboot

  -The problem occurs after different and long periods of time. So I think that the period between failures is long to be caused by tunnel a.s.o. timeouts.

  All ASA are running 9.1. (5) 21.

  I updated the firmware of several releases these past few months and had the same problem with any version I tested.

  So I hope that someone else has also had this problem and found a solution.

  I am fairly new to Labview and eager to learn more. I currently do some tests on our devices in network bandwidth. For the moment, I use the open source Iperf to send UDP traffic to the device. I wanted to do the same thing with Labview. All I need is to send a UDP traffic to different bandwidth to the device. I watched sender example VI in Labview and I don't see an option to set the bandwidth. Say for example, I would send 20 MB/s of device. Can you please help a beginner?

  I think the overhead of package (envelope with source destination Protocol and are control) are all part of the flow. I usually count as 10-bit byte "in the head" is estimated.

  3 edit the object list widget, and the filter object type\Virtual Machines and save

  4. change the metrics graph and select the metric config that you created in step 1 in the metrix configuration box and save it

  5 in Widget interactions select list of objects in the menu drop-down and click on apply Interactions and save the dashboard

  When you open the control panel and select a virtual machine from the list (or search for it in the filter), it will display the average amount of data received and transmitted in Kbps in the metric table. Use the controls to date to specify when you want to see the data to and from.

  In theory and in the physical world, the maximum data rate would be 10 Gigabit/s, since vmxnet3 emulates a 10GBASE-T physical link.

  This flow is governed by physical limitations and traffic on the wire of the standard, but these do not apply in a purely virtual configuration (vSwitch and port group 2 virtual on the same host and same computers).

  Invited on the same host and vSwitch and port group are able to exceed beyond 10 Gbit/s. I know, we could think that for example the e1000, which has a link from 1 Gbps to the guest, is limited to 1 GB/s maximum. or vmxnet3 is limited to a maximum of 10 Gbps. But this isn't the case. Operating systems don't artificially restrict traffic to match the speed of the agreed line unless it is physically required.

  For reference, I am able to get 25 + Gbps with the test tool of network throughput iperf between two virtual Linux machines with a vNIC vmxnet3 unique on the same host/port group. (Yes, 25Gbps. Even if a vmxnet3 emule link 10 Gbps, throughput is not artificially capped without physical limitation of signal).

  Once you get to the external communication outside a host then you are limited by your physical host of ESXi links limitations.

  I think that's what you're looking for:

  If you run the report Page Navigations of Insight, you can then filter on "Web Page" choose only the subset of pages on which you are interested to report. The report will then show you all the previous pages (traffic sources) that were visited before visiting an of these subset of pages. The only downside is that it shows it as a 1:1, it will show all the previous pages for Page A, all the previous pages for Page B, etc. - so you can see the same previous page on the list several times. You can export to Excel, however, and twist a little bit for us hopefully get final report wanted.

  We have configured VLANS on several switches SF 200-24. 1-11 ports are value vlan id two and configured as access ports. 13-23 ports are the id value vlan 3 and also configured as access ports. 12 ports, 24, G1 and G2 are defined on id vlan 1 and remain as a junction ports. When connect us a router to port an a switch and a computer at the port a two switch then the switches through a trunk port we get no internet connecton. If we connect the switches using the same vlan on each switch we get connection.

  It was our understanding that the trunk ports passed all traffic vlan by default. We tried affecting the trunk ports to the tag, but that did not work.

  The question: how configure us trunk ports so that they can pass traffic for both VLAN?

  The ports of junction on the series SF/SG of switches do not pass traffic for all the VLAN by default.

  You have to go in the GUI and tag the VLAN relevant you want to configure.

  The default setting for ports of junction on the SF/SG switches is VLAN1 not marked but no tag.

Our main link in our heart is affected by the degradation of service and want to route the client on our redundant link while retaining all other clients going on our primary link - is it possible?
