Create disc

Hello

I worked for a few months now with FCPX and now I wanted to export a movie to a DVD. I go to 'Export' '-> DVD"and then it always started and everything was fine. But still if FCPX wants to start to burn the movie after being written that the program create disc does not react. I don't know what is the question, but I tried several times to fix it. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

One last thing: also if I want to burn a movie (m4v or mov) to my office it does not work on a standard DVD player.

I would be very happy if someone could help me!

But still if FCPX wants to start to burn the movie after being written that the program create disc does not react.

If you have a an image for the background of your menu, delete it in the sharing settings. If you do not use a BG image, click Add and then cancel. With the line tool, make a short selection of your project timeline. Share > DVD and in settings, set the hard output device. Save it to your desktop. If it ends, it's a question related to the menu, which can be resolved by using a smaller image for the background.

With regard to the burning MP4 from the Finder, which would make a DVD that can be played by computer data. DVD Player cannot read it.

    Hello.

    I installed windows 7 Professional in my laptop A300 - 15 c (PSAJ4E) two weeks ago and I have a problem.
I installed all the drivers for win 7 on the official website of toshiba and I do not see the option 'Create disc' where I can install the firmware update.

So, my laptop did not install the updates of the firmware, and it is very slow at startup.
    Any idea about this problem?

I can see your ad is mix of three different but described issues in two sentences.
Can we please discuss each issue separately?

At first, I have to say that I installed Win7 on my Satellite A300-1LI successfully and I am satisfied with the performance and I have to say that all hardware components will run perfectly.
    So, back to your laptop:

    # What do you mean with the option 'create disc '? You may think that on some Toshiba tools pre-installed, I don't know exactly. The fact is that Toshiba offers many useful and utility tools to only factory settings and these tools cannot be downloaded and installed as well.
    # Update? Must you really it? I don't think so. Have you noticed a few problems with the optical disc drive?
    # Slow start? Have you installed the drivers all listed for Win7 especially chipser dtiver and storage manager? Please note that the SATA in the BIOS settings must be defined in AHCI mode.

  • How can I create discs for my recovery to reinstall partition Vista?

I have a Dell Studio 540 I bought in 2009 which came with Vista 64-bit pre-installed. I do not have the installation discs for Vista but rather has a recovery partition (D). I don't create discs of backup at the time.

Now my hard drive is about to crash and burn (I get warnings "imminent failure" of Vista and Dell diagnostics). I bought a new hard drive, but I want to know how to reinstall Vista on the new disk once it has replaced my failure one.

I am creating recovery/OS reinstall disks, but I'm not finding a way. I do not seem to have any Dell backup software for this do and no Datasafe or backup Dell. (My hard drive has been previously cleaned and reinstalled Vista a couple of years ago, when my video card has failed.) Perhaps these apps has reduced to nothing at this point, I don't know.)

I still have the recovery folder on my (still) works hard drive and also copied on an external hard drive.

Can someone tell me how to create installation disks so I can reinstall Vista on my new hard drive?

    You have a few options:

    Update product key

This requires a license to upgrade. In general, you should your old version of Windows installed. There are workaround solutions posted especially for users in the same situation as you, who must replace hard drives, etc. and only have the media upgrade (as most of the systems are medialess now unfortunately). Others require an absolute clean install after formatting with the likes of DBAN to get rid of Virus/Malware infections and do not have the old media. Without these solutions of workaround users would not be able to activate.

First of all, you can buy the upgrade and use the Digital River to install .iso is useless to make a double (Vista 7) installation. The Digital River .iso image file will allow you to start in the media you created him (USB or DVD - USB recommended). Look at my wiki A clean install of Windows 7, you need to install Windows 7 but do not enter the product key and select ignore when you are prompted to enter the product key.

The upgrade product key will not directly work with the activation of product however if you follow the instructions in step 11 d - a small solution to workaround using slmgr in the command prompt it will activate without a problem allowing a clean install (maximum performance). As you're installing on an eligible system workaround is perfectly valid and you will be always correctly allowed. Again, it will be to save time sourcing your support Vista, reinstalling Vista/Upgrading to 7 and prevent yield loss of the upgrade from Vista to 7.

    OEM product key

You can also consider using the generator systems or the version of Windows 7 OEM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=-1&isNodeId=1&Description=windows+7&x=26&y=15

Its essentially the same as the commercial, but cheaper version and allows a clean install. The only downside is that it is related to the computer, it is first installed on that is it is not transferable.

    Retail product key

You can also purchase the full retail version, but it is the most expensive choice.

  • Problems playing self created discs DVD-R on Satellite M30

I currently have problems reading DVD-R, I created on my laptop M-30. Would appriciate any solutions, ideas, Suggestion anyone could have.

    The problem
My DVD - Rw drive refuses to recognize any DVD-R that I wrote using the same drive and software slipped & included. He simply refuses to recognize and when asked just indicates that the disk must be damaged or corrupted. All the tested discs (all 8 of them) worked properly on three other machines, which rules out a problem with the discs.
Also it does not read discs written, he recognizes DVD-R Virgin and allows me to write for them. indeed written afetr and refuse 2 discs, one with Drag & drop, the other with WinDVD Creater 2, the system refused to recognize. However, they worked correctly on other machines.

The drive was working properly before, and no major modifications were made to the system. He continues also to recognize and read in DVD-ROM drives trade.

Would appriciate all ideas, suggestions, solutions to this.

    Hi bbusybookworm,

that is not easy to give advice, but lets try...

What Service Pack is installed? SP1 or SP2.

As far as I know, if you installed SP2, you make updates to preinstalled programs.

How many burning programs installed, Drag & Drop, WinDVD Creator. What else?

It could be possible that some programs hamber each other.

I had this problem with Roxio products and "Alcohol", for example.

    Good bye

  • Creating discs of recovery for Satellite Pro C660-2JR

    Hello

is there a way to have the recovery disks installed win7 x 32 instead of x 64 (Satellite Pro C660-2JR)

If your laptop has been delivered with the 64-bit version, you can create the recovery for this preinstalled only version disk. With other words, saved on the recovery partition recovery image is recorded on DVD disc. It's nothing more than that.

If you want to use the 32 bit OS, you must check if your phone model is supported for him and install the clean version.

  • (Pavilion dv2000 vista) How to create discs of the comand recovery console

What is the name of the executable file and directory for the command to create the recovery partition recovery DVD?  I am unable to get to the desktop to create, and the recovery console has been unable to reformat the hard drive.  The way I see it I have only 3 choices:

1 make the recovery partition disks, replace the disk and run recovery on the new hard drive.

    2. use linux software to copy the recovery on a "mega" flash drive partition, replace the hard drive, use linux software to copy the recovery on the new hard drive partition and run the system recovery then.

    3. pay $ 15 to have HP send me the recovery disks.

    Thanks in advance.

I tried and there is no directory ' / Windows/creator "in my recovery partition.  I thought maybe the file and directory got renamed or moved to templates later (this paricular is dv2911us).  I have also sought among the various directories and have not found any executable "CD Creator.exe; This is not to say there isn't, I just have not seen in my seaching... There are a lot of directories.

    Edit:

Just received this response from HP email help (the most useful of all the methods of "contact us" HP):

Jim, thank you for writing back to us.

Jim, to keep you informed, the recovery disk have a period of 90 days from the date of purchase of laptop computer for his creation. However, if you try to create after the period of such, you may experience problems. The same rule applies in the case of new hard drive.

I'm afraid that there is no console command to launch the creation of recovery disks. Even if the recovery partition seems to be fully functional, it is in the hard drive only. Executable files named 'CD creator.exe' is just an image.

There are third party available for the recovery disc software, however, ultimately they would create problems as the hard drive failed.

Given the current situation, we recommend that you replace the hard drive and buy the new recovery drive.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Also I find it a bit funny that last night when I called technical support, the lady that I spoke to said the new HDD would cost 400some dollars!  I think this is the cost that it's based on the price for the operating system and other software included on the disc.  Anyway, then I asked him what it would cost to just send it and make them repair the laptop, and she said it would be $ 300some! LOL it took everything I had not to start not to laugh.  Then, when I told her thanks for the help, and that she would have answered all my questions, she tried to sell me a new laptop! I didn't say thank you and she tried once again! I want to say Holy shit! It's just a hard drive of freeking! in any case I'm glad I took the time to email them and get a response from someone who knew what they were doing.

Guess that just means it's tempting step 2 (see the original post).

  • Create disc netsetup to xp from vista PC computer

I created a network on my vista computer that created a netsetup.exe file I used to install the network on other computers.  I lost the USB it's and I need now to create a new to add a new XP computer to my network

You cannot create this disk from a Vista computer as they network with other computers using a completely different way (they do not use this disc or the process).  You need create a XP computer on the network drive if you want to add it like this.  But you should always be able to network the computers without the disc. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9019179/Teach_XP_and_Vista_to_play_nice_on_networks?taxonomyId=16&pageNumber=1.

    I hope this helps.

  • Error when creating discs of recovery on HP Pavilion p7 - 1147 b Win7

While creating the 2nd day of ea 3. system recovery discs, I get an error message during the "check disk" which terminates the process.  I use high quality DVD + R 4.7 gb discs and have tried several brands.  I had the same problem on the 1st disk, but he finally finished after 3 attempts - now I can't get the 2nd drive over to get to the final.  The DVD burner seems to work very well for other applications. I really want to buy these HP recovery disks.

    Hello

Try to create the rest of recovery disks in Mode safe mode as follows.

Shut down the PC.  Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  When windows has fully loaded into this mode, launch the recovery disk Creator application and see if you can complete the creation of your disks in this way.

To exit Safe Mode, just restart the PC and Windows will start normally.

If it still does not create a viable set of recovery disks and you are within your warranty period, call HP (phone numbers are on the link below) and explain that the Recovery Media Creator application fails to create a viable set of recovery disks and ask them to send you a free replacement set.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

    Kind regards

  • Re-create disc set of system recovery after OS upgrade from Vista to Win7

Hello, my HARD drive crashed, and as part of the replacement procedure, I also bought an upgrade of the OS Win7. I used my original restore disks game for the PC to Windows Vista and then upgraded to upgrade to Win7. I want to re - create the defined under Win7 recovery disc, in the case where I never restore the OS again, to avoid restoring Vista and upgrade to Win7 process. Unfortunately, Recovery Manager reports that a recovery set have been achieved and can be done again.

Is it possible to redo the restore with the new OS Win7 disc?

  • Cannot create disc size

Running esx 5.5 with camera 5.5 vshpere and san VNX5400

On a site that I created a 19 TB Lun and datastore I then added a second disc of 17TB to a guest of 2012r2 victory without problem (this comment was created in version 5.5)

However when I try to do the same thing on the second site it only allow me to have a disk of 16 TB (guest was created when the host was still v5.1)

I get an "insufficient disk space" message in the list of events.

The OS and virtual machine disk are located on a different data store.

    Any ideas?

You upgrade your VM hardware version and also your VMFS datastore?

In my view, it relates to your VM configurations because vSphere 5.1 supports 2 TB VMDK and if your VM still using version 9 hardware, it can support improvements VMDK on vSphere 5.5.

  • Why no Encore CS6 installing Premiere Pro CS6?  Create discs!

I agree with first Pro CC ($ 20 / mo).  I need to create DVD & Blu - Ray.  I see that subscribers complete creative cloud ($ 50 / month) can install diverted again CS6, by installing the first Pro CS6 (How do it again with first Pro CC?).  But I have tried (twice) and the party still does not installonly the Premiere Pro CS6 is installed.

Why?  I'm guessing that Adobe screwed up, thinking that they should allow only allow 'other' installs the Adobe application for full CC subscribers ($ 50 / mo).  But Encore CS6 must install for me.  Part of the subset of the Premiere Pro software.  (Adobe simply still prematurely dropped in CC.)  Paying subscribers first Pro cc expected to have access to CS6 again through their Office CC App

Premiere Pro is pretty much useless without disc authoring software.  So what am I paying for?  Don't sell me PrP for $20 / mo, then hold content hostage published for another $30 / mo just to be able to author to discs!  Discs remain the only reliable way to distribute content to a diverse group of consumers.  What good is first Pro CC if the edited product cannot be distributed reliably?

(In theory, I could use Pinnacle or other amateur for creation of CD-ROM software, but I'd rather not;) "I have too much doubt as to the effect on the quality of the image of past experience).

    ____________________

P.S., I'm doubly sure that Encore CS6 is not install because not only Windows (10) cannot fail to find it in the program search (I can't find it in the manual runs my programs either), but when I go to uninstall Premiere Pro CS6 (in the application of the CC), it does not have check boxes to uninstall the two PrP & again as it is supposed (according to different positions Web on it).  There is no checkbox at all; It just goes right by uninstalling the software.  Oh and of course she also does not appear in the list of my CC desktop app from installed programs.

Search Encore CS6 program files directories.

I deny not with you conclude that still cannot be found, BUT you have no direct evidence that it is there, simply cannot be found in your various attempts. I would therefore take an extra step. But I do not know Windows 10. Is there a directory C:/Program Files?

  • Creating discs of recovery-XPS a 27

    Hello

With a 27 a XPS, on the way (due date: 25/02/13), I would like to create a set of recovery disks in time earlier, in the case where after that initial set up something wrong with updates and restoring to factory default and the operating system is required.  So, I was hoping to create an updating/downloading whole disk recovery.

I think I have won't be able to perform this recovery disc creation once. So, let's hope that it is a good time to create this.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.
