  I don't know what a "release mode" exe's, but to create an exe of a VI:

  If you have LabVIEW 7.1 or earlier:

  Go to tools > build executable

  Use the wizard to create the executable file or the installer.

  If you have LabVIEW 8.2 (I think) or later:

  You must have the VI and all of the Subvi in one project.

  From there on, you build a dll.

  Just search for 'build executable' in the forums, you should get dozens of hits.

• Flash CS6 started hanging when opening or creating projects - help!

  I have not used the Flash CS6 (on Win 7 x 64 Pro) for a few months, and now, when you open or create projects, Flash crashes at about 10% CPU and will not continue loading.

  I created a dump file of the Mini using Process Explorer, which can be downloaded here (9 MB) Dropbox - Flash2.dmp

  Please can anyone help diagnose it, so I can get it working again? I have plans on hold (don't we all).

  Thank you. None of these circumstances applied to me, but I found the problem by using a few process and Thread analysis tools. There was a problem with my Wacom drivers and for some reason, and to delete and reinstall these has solved the problem.

• Combination of account for tasks in a newly created project template

  Hello friends,

  I recently created a new model of project based on a new Type of project in respect of the operating unit. Standard tasks are also added in the model.

  A new project is created by using the template said above and additional tasks above are also seen in the project.

  However, while preparing a PR in iProcurement if we choose one of the above tasks, it gives an error message - debit an account is invalid. Program error: an error occurred while looking up for a combination of segment flexfield.

  But other projects, created from a different model in the same unit of operation is not to give such a mistake.

  Can you if it doesn't matter who you please let me know if we need to define a combination of account of a task under a newly created project template.

  Are you using the same accounting Auto for the which was used for all other projects/Templates?

  Try and check Auto accounting Segment by Segment.

  Also check of Cross Validation rules.

• create the executable (*.exe) file

  I could create and executable file (*.exe), but it does not all libraries (*.dll) necessary, IE NIVIsSVc.dll, imaq1349.dll... So I was wondering if someone could guide me to create an executable file with all the necessary libraries to run on a different machine? I have LabView 8.2.1 and XP OS. My *.exe file is to capture an image of the camera (FirWire 1394) and save it in a file on the hard drive.

  Unfortunatley LabVIEW get where the drivers have been installed since. This is to ensure that the same versions of the driver are in LabVIEW and the installation program that you created. The best way to work around this problem in your situation is to reinstall the drivers from your hard drive. You can download the drivers on our website linked below. In the future if you plan to create many installers, copy the contents of the CD driver on your hard drive and install from there. • Beta 4 - Momentics IDE seized semiautomatic does not work for Qt classes in the newly created projects?

  After you have uninstalled the Beta 3 Momentics IDE und install the new beta 4, I noticed that the autocompletion of the IDE not working anymore for Qt classes when I create a new project from a template (empty or non-empty). It seems that the IDE cannot find the Qt header files:

To avoid problems, I thought I could just create new projects in Beta 4 and re-import my source files for my Beta 3 projects. But I want to keep the autocompletition for Qt classes.

  I guess it's just a problem in files created automatically from the project. Is there a way to remedy?

  Thanks for your replies. The trick to rebuild the index was useful, but does not solve the problem in itself.

  But comparing all files in some of my old projects of Cascades generated in Beta 3 and newly generated in Beta 4, I found that in the Beta 4 project files .cproject, missing several tags that setting the include path for Qt for the IDE headers. Note, I'm not referring to the railways include the settings of the compiler here. Just autocompletion and also the analysis of the code in the IDE has not worked.

  In any case, to solve this problem, I found the following solution:

  There are four instances of these tags in the file .cproject of a Cascades (beta 4) project:

  Where NNNNN is a number randomly. When I change all these 4 cases to:

  .. .then they review as they did in the Beta 3 and then refresh the project or restart the IDE autocompletion all started working again for new projects of Beta 4. When I then invoke Index-> reconstruction such as recommended in the other thread also the analysis of the C++ code for the work of syntax errors and semantics again (if you have enabled in the IDE).

  I suppose that these lines could also be included in the model files somewhere in the NDK of BB installation folder, but I didn't fix files it.

• Why can't I create a project on VS2010C ++ Express even though when I 1st installed it had no problem of creating projects?

  OKE_IMPORT_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header calls OKE_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header internally to create contracts. You can use OKE_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header to avoid calls. However, if you want to use the API data validation, you can use import API. There is a parameter that is set by default n and validate the import data (i.e. p_ignore_oke_validation).

  We use the SQL Developer for most of our database and ODT for Visual Studio source code control. We recently encountered a problem where our scripts were not up-to-date with the server version and almost lost a significant amount of work (but we do not have through flashbacks). If a package is changed on the server outside my instance of Visual Studio, "Generate create Script to project" is not the latest version of the server and seems rather to get a version cached of the package according to when he finally examined by the Server Explorer.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  Create a specification package and body on the server.
  Open an Oracle database project.
  Open connection to the DB/schema.
  Expand the packages node.
  Select a package node in Server Explorer and "Generate create Script to project" from the context menu. You generate a script spec and body.
  Change the package using a tool external (SQL Developer).
  Select the same package in Server Explorer and "generate create Script to project.
  The script does not update with the changes made on the server.
  
  A couple of notes:
  If I disconnect and reconnect, it will refresh and I get the version of SQL Server. The body will be updated.
  If I refresh the connection node and to script the package body will be updated.
  If I refresh the packages node and generate the script package body will not be updated.
  If I refresh the parent node package and script the package body will not be updated.
  If I expand the body for the first time and generate a script from the node parent package the package body will be updated.

  At the very least, I would expect refreshing a node parent to refresh all the brothers and sisters.
  
  If caching is by design, it would be good to know if the package had changed since the cached version. If not, he should get the server version.

  Ive recently updated to El Capitan, nit course if that is the problem or not but Im going to ask the question. IM aware there are some threads about photos crashing, but none seems to be similar to mine

  Ive just returned from a trip and try to create photo books.

  All right, but then every now and then I get the spinning beachball colorful and it will not stop. I have to force eject to get the app working again.

  Ive tried to fix the photo library and ive also deleted and re-imported into a time machine to the top

  Not sure if Im something wrong or not, but its really fustrating. Neve had this problem with Iphoto (the old app) does not seem to be updating photos, then El Capitan

  To join two projects just select, copy then load the other project and paste it at the beginning or at the end.

  To join two videos shared, you can use Quicktime Player to join the files

  It is a (current?) limitation of the structure of the executable. Since you are using the report generation (or any class auto-émet) LabVIEW must distribute these files outside of the executable, not to worry, but you must ensure that these directories remain with the executable.
