  I currently feel som with writing questions in HKCU on physical system of Applications. I want the Application to write to the physical registry on HKCU because its storage username and window/columns, default instances, locations etc for this Application it.

  0xc004f061 error message occurs when you try to use a license key to activate a newly installed Windows 7 as an upgrade from your previous operating system version; but you don't have the previous version of Windows on your computer. Microsoft retains an option for current users of Windows XP and Vista or Windows 7, upgrade in the latest version of Windows 7. Installation is easy and the product key is distinguished by a new upward together. However, to use the key, you must keep the earlier version of your operating system and the new facility will be placed on the old version. If you do not follow this, you will get this error massage.

  If you format the hard drive before you install the upgrade version, the product key will not work and will require the previous version of your Windows. In this case, you must reinstall the operating system previous Windows (operating system), and then reinstall the upgraded version of Windows 7, and then use the product key. • PSProvider XPS 9550

  I think I'm having a problem installing with DellBIOSProvider a XPS9550 I am not able to directly target the DellSmbios path or a mapped drive PS.

  I'm on Windows 10 1511 x 64 enterprise on a XPS 9550 with firmware A06.

  I installed the following:
  VC ++ 2012 x 64
  Install-PackageProvider NuGet
  DellBIOSProvider installation package

  I don't get any errors and run in verbose mode doesn't give any warning or failure.

  Get-Module shows that it is present on the system. Get-PSDrive shows the following:

  I have spent the better part of 4 hours to try to remove and reinstall these components, but to no avail.  Any ideas for the next steps would be appreciated.

  It seems that the question is when the module is imported when running in the system context.  When the Import-Module command is executed under the user context of the PSDrive is created.  I suspect that's not intentional - can - we confirm/deny?

  I was able to solve this problem.  The issue has been a tool that I used to send commands to a machine remote powershell was instantiation of each order, so the PSDrive was created and destroyed during the import.  I was able to prove by running the import so that Get-PSDrive in a single command and he returned DellSmbios correctly.

• How can I clear the history of the file menu?

  By clicking on file/Clear History is not clear in fact history (nor is it possible to clear the history of the Organizer), does anyone know where Acrobat 9 stores the info (on Windows 7 x 64)? I looked in all the obvious places: c:\users\me\app data\local, locallow and roaming, also searched the register in HKCU, HKLM and HKU hives, but don't see anything obvious. In the... AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0 folder, there is a file called UserCache.bin which has the current date, but deleting it did not help. It has been recreated with the same file size, and history has remained. Yes, I've been reboot several times.

  The best I can do is change the preferences to display 1 one recent document. (And before someone thinks I'm paranoid: I record video tutorials and it looks weird to have a bunch of document names displayed when I show the file menu.)

• HM Prm Vista 64-bit; no updates in a month

  I have the same problem, and so far, I've done EVERYTHING on the internet to resolve this issue, register the DLLs needed to download the latest version of the Update Manager (when I ran, he stated that he had suffered an unrecoverable error) and nothing has worked.

  I'm using vista Home premium x 64 service pack 2.
  I use Trend Micro Internet Security on my computer and have a current subscription. It is anti virus/spyware and a firewall.
  Norton came on my laptop as a trial (which I had to uninstall in safe mode because it is blocking its own uninstall).

  I noticed that nothing was updated in a month. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to reinstall vista.

  When you runWindows day he try anything download\install or did you just get and error?  If you view the history in Windows Update it shows any updates?  If yes what error codes do you have?

• Checking version CinePlayer start or Log In

  When I started my PC or connect to (I forgot!), a small box emerged saying that there is a new version available for CinePlayer. Do you want only it? and there was OK and No. buttons.

  If I look in my cCleaner on tools > start, I see something called Sonic CinePlayer Quick Launch.lnk. -What is checked for this new version, or is it something else I can keep. If it's just looking for a new version, I could simply disable in cCleaner. But if she does more than that, then maybe I should just let it run. I do not know...

  I wanted to know if we run into any problems by changing the passwords on the CUCM, VCS VCS Expressway, MSE8000, TPS and TCS.

  Are there any traps or order that we follow?

• Configure the security settings to allow silent printing

  I'm a developer of software for clinical drug manufacturer. Our software silently to print a pdf file using an ActiveX object to open Adobe Reader, keep the minimized window, and then run a line menu item to print the document to the printer. Our workflow is around radiation and we want to minimize the interaction of the user with the software which in turn reduced his exposure to radiation. With Windows XP, the first use of the silent printing emerged from a script dialog box and asks to accept or decline writing scripts. All silent prints instance arrived as expected with no further user action required. However, transition to Windows 7 introduced the different behavior. As expected with the first use of the dialog script pop upward, but whatever the choice, it continues to appear on every use of the silent print command.

  I poured the enhanced security features and JavaScript and can not find a way to set it up so that the pop-up only happens once and therefore recalls the selection of users to allow the script.

  Found the solution. Was to add the register HKCU item manually. Some of my deployments that automatically created the first time that the user selected OK to print. The machine was not. Once I added it manually, it worked as I expected with no dialog box.

  On page 69 of the installation guide, it shows how to change the JVM for X 86 servers.  Maybe this will give you a place to start looking for your current size.  On X 64 if it has been installed with the 10 GB of memory, then would be a chunk of memory to 2 GB size and anything less than 10 GB would result in a segment size of memory 512 MB.

• Changes to printer by default after recompose

  We view 4.5 running and using persistent disks for the storage of profile.  When I recompose the pool / a machine, the default printer changes.  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?  If so, how would you keep the same default printers?

  We run see 4.5 with floating linked clone pools and we have the same problems even with roaming profiles. The Netprinters of UNC are correctly roamed but not the fault of the printer.

  For this, we did a work around to save the register HKCU NT\Current Version\Windows separately.

  While connection we restore this setting and with the correct default printer.
