  Hello... I do research on what would be the best course of action for my project... need to design a digital magazine for the web that is interactive and offers rich multimedia video, animations, etc.

  I think to do what follows... design my animations in edge host who will be out html5 friendly animations, and then use Indesign to design my master digital magazine is the way I need multimedia embedded and interactivity have symbols.

  I'm not sure of my next step, or if I'm on the right track... should I bring in this Indesign file in a format compatible with Html5, CSS3, Wordpress or what? And Jquery plugins within the overall structure to add flash like effects.

  Design of a digital magazine for the web using InDesign as a main tool is not possible with only a CC subscription or license number unique edition. You buy Professional Edition or Enterprise Edition DPS to create a web viewer for your magazine with InDesign and DPS.

• How to create a digital control (of any type) which can be increased or decreased by a 'unit' at the same time?

  As in the title.  I want to create a digital control (no current limitation on its type) with a range of 1 to 10 (and a step of 1).  The only difficulty that I have, is that the user should only be able to increase or decrease 1 at any time.  Code initiated by this change of value must have completed at least once before that the value can be changed again.  This is because code of VI is mainly contained in a while loop and control are read once at each iteration and its last value should not differ more than 1.

  Is this possible with LabVIEW 6.1 and if so, how?

  One of the solutions that I came up with so far is to disable the control immediately after its reading, and to turn it on again immediately seized is read the next time (I have to assume that the user is unable to click twice before the control is disabled).  It is an acceptable method, or is there a better way?

  I also had an idea of partially disable a normal digital control, such that it could not be typed in - only arrows remained operational.  However, I'm not sure how.

  Hi James,

  You can use the two buttons (by releasing latch) and a digital display that shows the current value. Button increased the value and the other decreases. Store the value in a shiftregister to work with her.

  I don't know if your solution would work because use may directly enter the new value.

• Can I create a digital line written task in another digital line written task (NOR-6723)?

  Hello! I need to build an application that follows these steps in the order shown:

  1. create a task that writes a numeric value ('1 ' or ' 0') on line1 digital to a NOR-6723;

  2. create a task that generates a clock on the same Board $line0 pulse. So, when the value of the line of $line0 has been set, a transition from '0' to '1', and then '1' back to '0' must be made on the $line0.

  So, I have the following pseudocode:

  1. create Task1

  2. create digital output channel ' Dev1/port0/line1.

  3. write bits of data ('0 ' or ' 1') on digital line1

  4. stop & erase Task1

  5. create Task2

  6. create the digital output channel ' Dev1/port0/$line0.

  7 write bit '0' on digital $line0 data

  8 write '1' on digital $line0 bit data

  9. write the data bit '0' on digital $line0

  10 stop & erase Task2

  After I stop & erase Task1 (step 4), the digital line1 remains in the State that gave step 3. But, once I created a digital channel for $line0 (step 6), line 1 is in the State of initialization (high State - because of the low pull-up), so when Task2 generates the clock on $line0 pulses, the data written bit on line1 is compromised (it will always be '1').

  My question: should I move 4 step after step 10? I mean stopping and disabling Task1 bring Task2 AFTER WHAT had been arrested and cleared?

  Is that what this ensures that value of Line1 remains unchanged until the end of the entire application (once Task2 completed)?

  OK, don't know the exact calls in labwindows, is perhaps the easiest thing to create a taste of writing on the complete port.

• Acrobat Pro DC - failed to create the digital signature field

  Hello:

  I use a trial version of Acrobat Pro DC and PREPARATION of a form to an existing PDF document. I can't find a way to create a digital signature field that can be "click (to sign).

  Note: The existing .pdf has a digital signature field works but when I click on 'Prepare the form' and select this shape, it blocks every time Adobe Acrobat Pro. I must change the .pdf first, delete the existing digital signature field, save the .pdf, then on 'Prepare the form' and select it with the required signature checked.

  I read several articles in the knowledge base and tutorials that refer to an icon in the toolbar of the digital signature, but I have not this icon can be selected. That's what I see:

  

  When I select the available signature icon (envelope with x) this simply creates a text field, that when the document is opened in Adobe Reader, this field disappears when you click it.

  

  I tried with Adobe Acrobat Pro on Windows 7 as well as currently on Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite). Help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  The problem is that you have selected the signing required check box. When you do this, it limits you to a form that is compatible with Adobe sign, which allows no digital signature fields. What you can do is to click on the more button in the right panel and select "Back to the form of Acrobat" and you will be able to add digital signature fields.

  If you connect to your Google game account, it will show you who sent you the warning to the apps. The generator on the web app produces Android apps which are not affected by this vulnerability.

  I've done some cool magazines with DPS and I enjoyed making them, but after a little more than a year, I have a question that I can't answer myself...

  What I do with DPS makes sense or not? I guess I'm not the only one who thinks that.

  I can't complain, I get people who download my free digital magazines, and I have a lot of ads and people who arrive, he loves it, but I don't really see that people really use digital edition on a large. It is difficult to find on the app store (to compare to games for example), we can really see the difference between the magazine with a lot of interactivity and PDF style mags...   I have / had the same thoughts.

  I still do digital magazines, but there is no great interest in this subject over the side customers. Less not as digital publications are doing for now (with content Apps done in InDesign/XPress and enriched with scrolling more late especially perhaps some videos, slideshows and materials). Looks like we did the same experiments how people react. People do not know that they exist. If show you them, there is an effect wow for about 5 seconds. If you ask that you showed the digital magazine a few days later how many digital magazines, read it or take out a subscription. My experience. Less than 2% do so.

  In fact, the trend will magazines websites with content, design, collection and sharing opportunities tailored to the needs specific to the magazine content and also suitable to the needs of the readers. The DPS (various vendors) was never able to achieve this feature of such Web sites. If you asked me for my prediction a few years ago, I would not say that. Even if not dead yet, the DPS solutions are in a State of coma. There are magazines successful on these platforms. But these are only a few hundred under hundred-thousands or even millions.

  In general, the problem is not the media, but how the information is read and processed today. As internet access has increased, people have become very savvy about searching for information. This put the interest of traditional magazines on paper or in digital form almost to zero (no, the internet is not bad).   Depends on what you mean by part. If you want to put your folio on ipad of your customer, so they can listen to samples, everything they do is jack their iPad to your computer, launch content adobe Viewer and click Preview on the device in the folio generator Panel. This will push your folio on their ipad. Then, they can view content.

  If by hand, you mean... give physical files for you customers so that they can do (honestly I don't know what they would do with one file other than view folio it on the device), there is no way to do it.

• Can I create a digital clock effect after effects 4.1?

  I used an old software of my in some new installations on Windows 7.  I just installed after effects 4.1 and I use it for the first time... I know software 13 years, but that's what I have for now.

  I have been using Adobe first 6 for awhile and I'm pretty comfortable with it, but creating a digital clock effect first manually has realized a project requires a lot of work that I am now looking for an alternative to.  I am also a semi expert in Photoshop, but I don't have the new version than to use the effects of timecode functionality.

  So I installed my old copy after effects 4 and I found the tutorials in a search on how create a mobile digital clock effect in new versions of After Effects, but I don't know if plug-ins available or tutorials apply to version 4.

  D there's allot of good things happening in the software in 1999, and I found that even my old version of first 6 is very similar to the new CS5 version to allocate resources, then why not check everything after effects 4?

  Also, you are looking for a user guide or instruction manual online for after effects 4... When I installed my first software it automatically installed a set of files of HTML user manual and a full PDF user guide, but I searched and who apparently have not been installed with after effects 4.

  Rick is 100% correct, but I'm assuming 4.1 AE will not search the web, or Expressions for Dan Up-Down clock, so here's a tutorial on the numbers plugin, I mentioned, just in case.

We have a quarterly guide and a bi-annual magazine that they would like to create me in a way that they can be easily added to our website for downloading as well as our current company mobile app for viewing. I was not able to find out if this is possible using InDesgn and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. Anyone know if this would be possible and how difficult / time consuming is the process?

  There is a web viewer, but there is no way to allow anyone to download the pages of your Web site.

  You might want to consider fixed layout for this EPUB.

  I think you are trying to create a Multi issue with in-app purchases and subscriptions magazine. You would for this must go to Pro DPS or business license. Subscription mechanism is automated in DPS, so all you have to do is choose an option to create an application problem multi with subscription iTunes in DPS App Builder and create a subscription in iTunes.

  Now, Apple takes payments of subscription available on App store and your product will come directly by Apple.
