  No, web browsers do not support the display of EPS files. PNG would be the best option.

  Hi, Im quite new on the environment of the waterfall and I was wondering if its possible to do a custom context menu that allows you to browse different images, like this picture of a picasa Viewer. an Im talk is at the bottom of the image. IM thinking to use ListView inside the menu, but I'm not sure if its possible. I would also ask how to position where the contextual pop-up menu would be in a page. Any help, advice or even a link to an example of code would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

  This level of control is not possible using the context menu, but I think you can easily simulate using several containers. ListView can be placed in the bottom one.

  A possible design is to use a DispositionAbsolue to drag the lower container in the view with animation. Set LayoutUpdateHandler to the main container to adjust the dimensions of the container on the rotation of the screen and get the size of the initial screen of the low container off the screen.

  get downloaded in the WWV_FLOW_FILES.

  I installed an APEX on XE application that has been developed under Oracle10g and Apache (mainly so I can get a portable demo system).
  
  There are two application images that display the logo. Under Apache, they were put in a directory and an alias in the httpd.conf file - as described on ProApEx p419.
  
  My question is: how will I achieve under XE?
  
  Ideally, I would like my request to the XE and so wanted to create the same alias - but, XE uses Apache and I can't find how to get my recognized images. All images of the Apex are the loading apxldimg script to takes care of that. I have to create a script to load custom for my images so that they come from the database under XE?

  You must configure access to the XDB repository via a Protocol (WebDav or FTP), thereafter, you will be able to put the files in a special issue "file system" from the XE.

  I normally develop on virtual machines XE (running on a Mac), and then deploy a standard 10 G database running on Solaris without problem, it's just a matter to set up the right protocols and keep synchronized directories.

• After mistakes XDB, cannot enter the APEX workspace

  Hi all
  for some reason, I don't know why, I got error XBD then try to connect:

  A user name and password are being requested by http://localhost.com:8080. The site says: "XDB"

  Then, I unblocked the anonymous user schema and renewed his password. He brought me to the Apex login page but with no image (text only). However I couldn't logged into the workspace.
  
  So I thought that something was corrupt, even though I had worked before and I had not changed anything from there.
  
  So I did this chained attempts:
  1 password unlocked and renewed account XBD
  2 password unlocked and renewed account APEX_040000
  3. run @apex_epg_config.sql $ORACLE_HOME
  4. explicitly specified the location of the image when l'execution./apex.war listener
  
  But none of the attempt to correct the problem. Has anyone had this problem before? What is the cause? How can I fix? Help, please...

  Hello Val,

  Note that there is a difference between the use of the EPG and auditor of the APEX. Both are web servers to host an instance of the APEX, but in fact, the two are independent services. If you use the EPG, you must load the images of the APEX in the XDB as well. This is usually done when calling/apex_epg_config.sql, but I don't know if you set your ORACLE_HOME in the directory that you have unpacked the APEX installation package to.
  Also, make sure that you have unlocked the ANONYMOUS database user, which is used by the EPG. (see [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17556_01/doc/install.40/e15513/otn_install.htm#CHDEIGGI] Installation Guide for APEX)

  Anyway, you shouldn't start simultaneously APEX earpiece and EPG (XDB HTTP Server) on the same port, you will have a port conflict then. Change the port for the listener to the APEX or the port for the XDB HTTP server.

  For the listener of the APEX, you can add the parameter = apex.port to the commissioning, for example

  java -Dapex.port=8081 -jar apex.war
  

  For the EPG, you can run

  exec dbms_xdb.sethttpport(8081);
  commit;
  

  If this is configured properly, without conflicts, you should be able to run EPG and APEX listener next to each other.

  I am fairly new to InDesign, and I create an interactive document for export to a SWF for a prototype eBook.

  I'm integrating Flex 4.6 Adobe and InDesign. I learned recently that I need Adobe Digital Publiciations to enjoy the creative decorative Panel, and this was a major setback for my project as my budget does not allow me to purchase more resources. I develop an application for the Playbook, and the InDesign document contains 2 chapters of sample with interactive content. I plan to export the file as a SWF file, and features such as the audio and video are working fine on my playbook.

  
  Currently, I have converted an MP4 file to a sequence of images, and I would like to create a sequence of images where the user can simply drag through the images and see the entire process.

  Please Note: I did not have access to digital publications from adobe, so I can't use the decorative Panel.

  I need to know how I can create this sequence of images of InDesign CS5.5

  The problem is that you have specified a different page than the page of connection (due to which your login page used the builtin page). During the passage of the authentication, you must specify that 101 is indeed your login page (disabled by default)

  Here's a screenshot of it.

  So, in your workspace, choose current change, choose the authentication name and when you get to this screen tick the checkbox and submit. You should be prompted for your login page (which corresponds to the theme). This should solve the problem.

  This post was obsolete when it was written. Use the built-in support of BLOB.

  Resizing of the declarative BLOB images in reports is simple using CSS. Add a style sheet with:

  where the value of the PHOTO in the attribute selector is the ID of the image column table header. Define only a single dimension (in this case the width) will scale the image with the correct proportions. (Background, padding and border properties are just eye candy...)

  However, the scaling of the images in the browser in this way is a huge waste of bandwidth and product of lower quality images than to create good scaled down versions using image tools. Image download megapixel and then to reduce them to the size of the thumbnail result in needlessly pushing millions of bytes which will never be seen.

  For better performance and image quality, and where you need specific image scaling of the best approach is to use the ORDImage database object to produce thumbnail and preview automatically versions. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Oracle XE as multimedia is not included :-(.
