Creative Cloud Desktop on Windows 8.1

I downloaded creatiive cloud on my desk. I use Windows 8.1. Whenever I log in, I get the following message: "you have been disconnected. Please sign in to continue. »

OK, so I connect and I get the same "you have been disconnected. Please sign in to continue. »

What I've done so far:

  • I changed my password
  • I uninstalled and reinstalled creative cloud
  • I cleaned the cache and cookies

I don't know what else to do.

If you are certain that you have the latest app cc, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

Exit the office application.

Rename ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE opm.db. Note the ~ at the beginning of the path that denotes the connected to the directory of the user on mac. The library folder it contains is usually hidden, then use the option go to folder finder and type in the path exactly what I typed here to access.

Relaunch the creative application of cloud and connect.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop App 1.9.1.474 Update resets the sync to default (windows) folder

    Hi all

Second time this has happened with an update for Creative Cloud Desktop App (Windows).

Update finished properly but note while file syncing is going crazy and is re-sync everything but the default location (usually user\username\ - Win 8.1).

Last time that happened I've seemed to have some loss of files.

I now leave everything resynchronize to the default location, and then restore to the previous location (where the files are still there - but is located on a different drive).

Surprised to hear support (Swati) has not heard this before, but found it useful to put it out there to warn others and see if its just me!

It was for some refreshing Creative Cloud Desktop 1.9.1.474 (and think it was with the previous version required).

    See you soon,.

    Hi Mark,

as you point out correctly with the recent update of the application of Creative Cloud Desktop (1.9.1.474) presents us unfortunately a bug that causes the creation of a new Creative Cloud Files folder and re-synchronization of all content. This will happen only the first time that the synchronization application runs after the update. This caused an understandable pain and confusion, for which we really apologize.

Creative application Cloud Files contains a logic that supports the use of several Adobe ID. This allows to disconnect from an ID and in, but keeps the contents of your separate creative cloud. When you sign out and change identifiers, the app moves the previous creative Cloud Files folder and it's content and he adds with the already signed in ID (User@AdobeID). Then, it creates a main folder and begins to synchronize the content of the identification of new.

The bug I mentioned earlier occurs, as the app believes an ID selector took place and as such, moves the current record of Creative Cloud Files and attempts to annex the already signed in ID. As no switch actually took place, it manifests as (unknown).  The application then creates a main folder to synchronize the data.

What you end up with is essentially a creative Cloud Files folder with your new synchronized data and a creative Cloud Files (unknown) folder that contains duplicate data.

This happens once, after the last update.

The solution is to simply delete the (unknown) Creative Cloud Files folder.

I recommend that ensure you that you have no pending change you can do offline and you check the contents of the folder new, main designer Cloud Files contains everything you expect of him.  If this is not the case, check the contents of the creative Cloud files (unknown).

If there is still an incompatibility with your data, you can check on creative.adobe.com to confirm that your data is there.

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Desktop app for Windows 8.1 update

Hi, I have updated my desktop and laptop to Windows 8.1 over the last day and have noticed a problem with the Cloud Desktop creative application.

Some menu items when I right click on either the CC system tray icon, or click the menu settings in the interface of the application itself does not show.  I've included a screenshot of the problem.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the desktop application, but it did not work.  Any ideas?

The 'Apps' tab does not appear in the desktop creative cloud application. I can't install apps at the moment.

I tried the right answer here: missing Creative Cloud desktop applications tab

but it did not work for me. I modified the file, entered into the creative process of Cloud and restarted my computer, but the app tab is still missing.

    Is there another solution?

I finally piece together a solution by using information in a comment in this thread, you have connected: don't see not the tab on my desk of creative cloud Apps

It was not the "correct" answer to this thread. The solution that worked for me, I will summarize here:

    1. go to your ...\AppData\Local\Adobe folder

    2. delete these folders: AAMUpdater and OOBE

    3. start the CC cleaning tool found here: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    4. Select 'Creative cloud' only and remove only creative cloud

    5 reinstall the creative cloud

  • Update Creative Cloud Desktop App

    Windows 10

I'm sitting at Creative Cloud Desktop App version 3.7.0.272 and want to update to version 3.75.291 which was published 20/07/2016

I have my CC Desktop application set in preferences to "always keep Creative cloud to date."

I can update to other applications through the application of Office CC, well most of the others because it takes hours and hours to acquire your files through this application with my current internet connection.

Please bring ProDesign tools downloads live, because I can acquire Adobe applications much faster as an update offline when I'm at an internet connection right through my computer laptop 'non-edition' (and transfer applications and updates for my editing machine).

I'm going to ProDesign tools now to get this CC Desktop App update because the App will not update

CC Desktop App 3.7.5.291 is not available for update with ProDesign tools.

Right now, I'm able to acquire the CC Desktop 3.7.5.291 App via ProDesign tools Adobe updates

don't know when this updated version was available, but now I must the .zip to travel with my laptop to my editing machine

I mark this reply. Thanks ProDesignTools and thanks you Adobe Creative Cloud

  • How many times should I uninstall and reinstall Creative Cloud Desktop app?

Every time there is an update of the applications Creative Suite, I want to download and install, I opened the Cloud Desktop application designer and see this:

    Screen Shot 2016-06-21 at 8.13.35 PM.png

Then I have to go online and try all validated solutions and finally manually uninstall Creative Cloud Desktop, then download it, then reinstall it, and then finally, I am able to download the update for real-world applications.

I know I'm not the only user that has this problem, and I know that this isn't a new problem not more.  I find it galling and appalling. Adobe has long been in the software industry.  Why can't they fix once and for all?  How is it difficult for Adobe to hire competent programmers who can code a functional application?

    Hello

Here is the Solution: delete the contents of the OOBE folder and restart the desktop creative cloud application

    • Exit the desktop application Cloud creative in the gear icon in the upper right.

    • Navigate to the following location, based on your operating system.

      • Mac OS: /Users/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

Note: The \Users\\Library\ is hidden by default after 10.7. See the following document for instructions on access to it if necessary: library user access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 and later.

      • Windows: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

Note: The AppData is hidden with the default settings of Windows. See the following document for instructions to show if needed: view the files, folders, file name extensions. Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP.

    • Delete all the contents of the OOBE folder.

    • Restart the computer and launch the desktop application Cloud creative again.
Note: The application may take slightly longer than usual to load with this solution, as contained in the folder OOBE is rebuilt after the launch.
