[CS3] In Adobe Premiere, the clips are much smaller in the Assembly of the sequence in the source window?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 to edit a whole portfolio. I downloaded my own videos to YouTube that I had lost the raw files, then diverted to .avi and imported in APP, which worked well. However once I started to put the clips on the timeline of the video image in the sequence window is about 1/4 the size of what it was in the source viewer! I'm having a lot of trouble with what I'm used to editing on Avid and Final Cut Pro, and it is the only program of editing that I have, as I have a portfolio in a few days. Any help is appreciated! Thank you

In CS3 and above, the screening of the project is larger, because you can configure the different sequences. This is the sequence that you want to watch. We choose a preset, they do it with new sequence, or they can check by going to the toolbar and choose the sequence, then settings (or similar syntax).

In regards to the files converted, I think that John T. related to point G and MediaInfo. Two of these utilities can give you all the details, and here's what you will need to match.

Good luck

  • Rotate the Clip in the Source window

    Hello

I'm working on a project in first pro cs6 where I have several video shot from a mobile phone in a portrait view. During the import, all the videos are appearing in a landscape view in the source window. How do I shoot the video in the source window, so I can add the points and exit before adding it on my calendar? I can turn after his in my timeline with no problems but I would like to turn before it is added to the timeline.

    Thank you

Might be easier to use video effects > Distort > transform, and then use the rotation control in this sense.

This can be for nothing that the OP is using CS6 and don't remember whether there is in CS6 Master effects.

    Hi David,

Please go to Premiere Pro > Preferences > Audio

Uncheck the "sum multichannel outputs Mono in the Source monitor.

Uncheck the 'Keep Pitch during rewind'

If this does not help, try removing BlackMagic.

Go to start or drive HD MAC > library > Application Support > Adobe > commune > Plugins > 7.0 > MediaCore

Delete if found BlackMagic plugins. (Make a backup of plugins before deletion"

  • Can you only score one inside and outside in the source window?

A little embarrassed to ask this as long as I've been using the first, but I have never needed to do before.

I pull up a clip in the source window, put in and out of the points, and then drag in the timeline.

Now, if it's a long clip, and I want to take part, how to see new in and out points? It overrides what is already there? Yes, I know that I can test this on mine, but my question is, what do I do if I want to go back and refer to the 'old' in and out of the points? In addition, once they are changed, it changes what I had previously added to the timeline? (I think not because I guess that what I dragged to the timeline will be there, and not update that the new clips are in the source for the same clip window)

I know there is an option to make a subclip. Is this the only option? If so, I would not even sure how to do this in a workflow. In other words, I should have been the subitem knowing first that I go back and shoot another section of the same sequence. In any case, hope that makes sense and that any idea is appreciated.

You play the clip and the brand new points and exit.

It overrides what is already there?

Yes. A clip can have one in and one out point at any point in time.

... what should I do if I want to go back and refer to the 'old' in and out of the points?

Use the button cancel or place markers where you placed your points - you can have as many markers on a clip that you want, or go to the head of the section of the clip you want to go back to who is it on your calendar, select and press the f key, which move the monitor Panel source to this point and add to points that correspond to the clip as it is on the timeline.

... once they are changed, it changes what I had previously added to the timeline?

Subclips, using markers, other methods - there are different options depending on how you want to work.

You can make a subelement at any time. But if you start with a pair of pliers long source you want to extract raw materials, you already know he's going to be multiple-point involved over time on the same element in source.

  • Problems with audio/video playback and the Source window

I have some videos that I try to import into my sequence. Whenever I have open the video in my source window (or drag it to the timeline), the sound goes crazy. He starts to jump and identified himself. When I open the movie file in Quicktime format on my computer, it opens and plays very well. In addition, I don't know if it is not connected, but sometimes, when I open a video in the window of my Source, there is no audio. I can drag to the sequence and double-click on it to put the video of the sequence in the Source window and it plays very well.

The video that I have problems with is a .mov, filmed from an iPad (not sure what model of iPad). It is filmed in Portrait mode, do not know if it matters. Please let me know what other information would be necessary to solve this problem.

  • Photoshop CS3 won't open the image window

Today I was scanning a jpg image in Photoshop CS3 and I received a message that Photoshop could not import due to a problem with the Clipboard data. (I can't rememer the exact message and I - currently - can't the message back to the top). The scanned image did save on my hard drive, so I opened it up with Painter X, where I worked with the image anyway.

In any case, I thought it must be a problem of the PS don't import not new scans. However, I tried to open a PS file I had worked with and without open image window. (The picture shows in the navigation of the PS, but no real image file opens).

I then tried to creat and open a 'new' PS file. Yet once, no the image window opens.

For all purposes, PS seems to 'see' the image files, but it will not actually open (or visible) the image window.

It's apparently a problem with Photoshop CS3 itself. I've never had a problem like this before, and I had scanned and opened an image in PS yesterday without any problem.

I use Mac OS 10.4.11 on a Mac Pro with 3 GB of Ram.

Anyone encountered this or heard of him? I appreciate any suggestions.

    Thank you.

It looks like the window is open off screen or on your monitor second behind your panels.

    trash your prefs.

It is covered in the FAQ if you don't know how.

Please help... as a result of a recent pro first cc update, that I can't see the audio file in the sequence of the chronology of loading when I drag over the project Panel.  The video file is loaded correctly, but there is NO audio data during playback and no audio file loading.  The file is played both video and audio in the source Panel.  That's happened?

It is almost always a problem with setting the patch/targeting of audio tracks...

  • Photoshop brush strokes are much smaller than the slider, need to do the same thing.

My photoshop brush, pencil and duplicate tracks are smaller than the slider, making it very difficult for accuracy. Do not know what made them change, but you want the slider and the strokes are the same.

I tried different settings in the dialog box of the brushes, with parameters of advanced differenc, etc., without any result. Also, tried different settings of the preferences/slider. No luck.

    Help!

In the preferences (cmd-k) > cursors > painting, the parameter sliders should be Normal.
