  There is no such thing as disabling Lightroom 5.7. Just uninstall the software.

  Looks like you have installed 6 Lightroom on two of your computers (including the MacBook Air). In this case, you must find and launch Lightroom 6 (not Lightroom 5.7 or any other version of Lightroom 5) on the MacBook Air and then in the menu help, select logout.

I often reset the printer "EVERY TIME" I want to use. I also tried to turn off my laptop and printer several times before printing. If I'm lucky, it will work maybe for one or two prints. If no luck then I have to reset everything again. Sometimes I reset the printer, the printer is not displayed on my selection.

  What machine you're leaning towards? With Air, you have to use ether WIFI or have the old drive on an external drive configuration. With a new Macbook Pro, the simplest method is to use the migration assistant. Access your Macbook in public services and to see, there you have it.   Try to restart your printer by it turn off and unplug for 30 seconds before feeding it back up again. If this does not help, restart your MAC too.

  I see you are having problems printing via the USB connection. I would really like to be able to help solve this problem.

  Did you download and install the software solution full or run Upates Apple?

  Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer.
  Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen it should show the name of the printer. (LaserJet MFP M125a Pro)

  If the full name of the printer is not correctly, delete and add the printer name back from the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver might have to drop-down list to select the name of the printer to add a click.

  

  

  How is the name of the printer listed?

  If the problem persists, try the following steps:

  Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  Close all applications.

  In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

  Double-click disk utility.

  Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

  Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

  Restart the computer...

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click on Printers & Scanners.

  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

  Click OK to confirm the reset.

  Type the name and the correct password.

  Click OK to reset the printing system.

  Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

  Try to print again.

  Transfer from a backup will not work.  Adobe applications must be installed using installation files.

  Thank you for your response. I've finally managed to connect with a support staff through the online chat portal & advises him to download CS3 web premium. Tried to find it, but this option is not available in scrolling to the bottom of the box. Ultimately, the staff had to help me to unlock the CS5.5 update manually from its end. He indicated that, in my case, the situation could not be resolved through this method, and I'd still have to contact support via the portal chat staff to help unlock my CS5.5 If this problem occur again should I need to reinstall it on a new computer laptop.

  First of all, let me say that my requirement of Windows on a Mac are minimal at best.  That said, I have a MacBook under Snow Leopard (10.6.8), VM Fusion (2.0.7).  I know that VM Fusion 3.1 has been out for some time and I just never had the need to upgrade.  Inside the virtual machine, I have Windows XP... once again my needs are minimal.  Yesterday, I bought a MacBook Air and used Migration Assistant to move over my files and applications.  I give the MacBook to my son and want to keep VM Fusion/Windows XP because it might need to access Windows for the school, but I don't necessarily want to do Windows XP on my MBA or VM Fusion.  Can't seem to find a way not tacky to do this (i.e. uninstalled everything on the Mo and reinstall after Migration Wizard) so I continued.  Well, of course I know now that my old version of Fusion is incompatible with Lion.  I did search here in the community and have found that most are successful with their virtualization if they get version 3.1.3 installed on their machines of Lion.  I also studied how to delete a Virtual Machine in Fusion and then remove the merger itself.  My big question is - given that I don't want merger or Windows on the new MBA and I don't want to pay to get a copy of Fusion I have is going to be delete - then - I download the free trial of 30 days, remove the Windows virtual machine, which I suppose is reside on my MBA and then delete the free 30 day trial?

  Just an info for anyone reading this thread...

  1 uninstall or uninstall/reinstalling VMware Fusion doesn't remove virtual machines.

  2. If a Virtual Machine can be removed from the Virtual Machine library, ctrl-click (right-click) on it and select Delete > move to trash, however, a Virtual Machine can also be deleted even if VMware Fusion is not installed.  Just send to the trash as a Virtual Machine based on all other files/folders from the Finder and the default location for a normal file is "~/Documents/Virtual Machines.  Note "~" represents your Home folder.
