• First CS5.5% VST plug-ins

  I installed Izotope RX2 n plug-ins (x 64 and x 32) they are recognized and functional in Audition CS5.5 but not by first Pro CS5.5. I couldn't find a VST scan folder option so I guess that DLLs are not loaded in the correct location for the first to find them. Help appreiated.  OS win7 x 64.

  Hi Ed,

  In fact, it's different from my above recommendation:

  Create a new key (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) named VST, and then create a new string value named VSTPluginsPath and set your path to 64-bit VST plug-ins in your case: C:\Program VstPlugins

  As you know when it comes to registry keys and code and others, a slight difference is all that it takes to make or break a feature.  Please try, be careful with the spelling, and I hope it will work for you.

  Are you use MAC CS5 32-bit option.  When I looked are the optional Plugins for CS5 download I you I remember only a 32-Bit plug-ins for Mac CS5.  Where both 32-bit and 64-bit plugins for Windows CS5.  I was able to install the 32-bit and 64-bit versions the in perpetual Windows CS6 not the version of the subscription.   There no Mac 32 bit only option in CS6 perpetual. Therefore, the last place allows users of Mac Picture Package using CS5 32-bit option.

  I've just installed for CS5 and have been using 8 elements, I bought the TopazLabs card in the package a few weeks ago and now I want them to work in my Photoshop CS5.  Can someone please tell me the steps to take to move or copy in CS5, I'm not sure 100% where they are going.  I saw the plug in folder in CS5 in my "program file (x 86) > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS5 > Plug-Ins."  Is this the right path? Also, I just throw the files one by one or go into a specific folder once I'm in the plig in the folder itself.  I have 12 records of differentiation within the card in the folder/file.  I need some assurance to make sure I do it correctly.  I don't want to ruin it with CS5.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

  One of the issues that you might face will be if you run on an operating system 64-bit or 32-bit. Many plug-ins are still 32-bit only.

  What OS do you have?

  That means "Topaz" say about this plugin for PS CS5?

  I was wondering if someone could help me with the transition between CS5 and CS6 (cloud Creative). I am on a Mac with Mountain Lion.

  I would like to migrate all parameters (i.e. workspaces as appropriate), personal actions of Photoshop, plug-ins (i.e. Type DNA, FontShop [Photoshop], [Illustrator] Scriptographer and Blurb Template Creator [InDesign]) CS5 CS6 possible. What is the simpler and the gentler way to do this?

  Yes, the plug-ins written for After Effects CS5 will work with After Effects CS5.5. No need to upgrade. The reason that this should happen for CS5 was the port to 64-bit.

  Hi Linda,.

  Looks like that launches the wrong version of the extension manager. You want that extension Manager CS5 launched (ver. 5.0).

  That said, as we work to repackage the Ps CS5 optional plug-ins so that you can manually install what need you. I'll post here when it goes live.

  How can I get my plug-ins/filters is over - or should I continue to use CS3 if I want to use?

  It has been some time and I don't know I have even the original installers or not - should be a real hunting around to find them if I did.  Some don't matter if I lose, while many are often used.  It * must * be a simple drag and drop, migrate or import function for this - where is it?

  Check the plug manufacturers for updates. Many have updated their specifically for CS5 and 64-bit fact. Old plugins, I would like to reinstall for CS5 and you need to run 32-bit use. Advice in the doc below:

• Cannot get Nik Software Plug-ins to work in CS5 Extended

  Has anyone else had a problem to get CS5 and CS5 Extended to recognize the Nik Software Plug-ins? I tried to install as they recommend, I tried to choose the location in the folder of Plun-ins and I even put the files in manually and not always no chance. I've never had a problem on my windows machines, but has decided to move all Adobe for Mac products.
