CS6 and 8.1 Windows installation

I reinstalled Photoshop CS6 after installing a new hard drive. The program has been installed on a separate SSD drive which I think would have been affected. However, the program would not launch. It will not start even after reinstalling. Of course I could not disable the program that he would not first place - I just made a deletion. Is it a problem of copatability with Windows 8.1. I have discussed this problem in a cat with Adobe, but they can offer no solution!

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.  Between ask me the question and your response I gave the opening program button a last jab - lo and behold the open program!  The wonders of modern science. However I'll keep your answer to hand, in case I run into future problems. Thank you once again.

  • ProBook G1 430: Encrypted hard drive and the corrupt Windows Installation

My laptop has an encrypted disc using HP drive encryption.  Recently, the Windows installation has become corrupted and I could not repair the installation using floppy disks to install Windows because they cannot access the encrypted drive, nor can they be accessed by other facilities of Windows if I plug in the external drive.  The two methods see the Windows partition as a RAW format.  I guess it's only because the partition is encrypted and has no way to determine the actual format type.

I searched around to find clues as to how I could get past the encryption, but without success.  The computer is no longer under warranty, so I'm looking for options that will allow me to have access to the data.  The methods I've read all required the computer under warranty.

I can still go through the encryption after the computer starts, but Windows Setup gives an error and tells me that I must use an installation disk to fix.  I have attached a picture of the screen of the error.

I'd appreciate any help anyone could provide to solve this problem.

After much patience and time on the phone with HP, I finally able to return the encrypted Windows installation.  They gave me a copy of the WinPE environment was a software that allows you to decrypt a partition which was encrypted with their software and execute commands Windows on it.  I then ran the repair bootbcd order and I was able to get Windows to start.  To obtain this software, my case should be escalated to tier 2 support.

  • WebCenter and UCM on Windows installation

I have a small question about the good installation sequence for portal WebCenter and UCM on Windows XP. The goal is to use the AAU of WebCenter repository via a socket Oracle Content Server connection.

During the installation of the WebCenter on Windows I don't see a command prompt to install Complutense University of MADRID. This means that I have to install the Complutense University of MADRID, with the installation of the AAU program? I tried that before and for some reason it does not - I couldn't see everything new WebLogic servers created. When I tried to start the WebCenter managed servers I got an error that installer64.exe is not a valid Windows32 application. What AAU weblogic server is supposed to work on?

Can you give me some advice on the correct installation of the UCM? I intend to access the content of the AAU of WebCenter portal, so it is possible to skip the installation of the web server? I would like the more compact, the installation option faster because it was such a WebCenter training workshop.

    Thank you
    Igor Mameshin

First of all, it seems that you run a 64-bit installation program on your 32-bit windows computer. This is why it does not work.

University Complutense of MADRID must be installed separately of the WebCenter. PS2 you could do it at the same time, but now, you need to install sepperatly. First install WebCenter, you install UCM. When you install the AAU in the same directory of fusion middleware, you can create a domain with webcenter and UCM. When you do so, you will have two servers managed to webcenter and UCM.

UCM is now fully integrated in the weblogic domain. You do not need to install two weblogic, you can use the one you have installed for webcenter.

When you run the RCU to WebCenter and you know you are going to install Complutense University of MADRID, you can of course check the components of the Complutense University of MADRID, as well, so you don't need to run it twice.

If you need help to install WebCenter, you can follow my step by step guide: http://www.yonaweb.be/installing_webcenter_11g_ps3_scratch
Install the AAU will be a similar process.

  • Formatting and recovery of Windows installation on Satellite M60

    Hi guys!

I want to format my Toshiba Satellite M60 soon. But I don't have the slightest idea how to do this and even more I don't know how to recover my Windows XP. I have Toshiba Express Media Player Recovery CD but nothing else because Windows was already on my drive.

Can you help me how to format and recover my factory settings on my laptop?
    Help, please
    gasina

    Hello

Without much discussion: factory settings you can have if you install the operating system via original Toshiba recovery CD/DVD. Unfortunately, you do not have it.
Now, you have two options: either you try to order and buy a new one (by authorized service provider), or you install WXP using the facilities of Microsoft CD. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba support site.

If you need more info please let me know.

Got a message saying my computer may be infected and my Windows Installer is missing...! How can I solve?

    Hi JohnYusko,

    1. have you done any hardware changes or software on your computer before this problem?

    2. do you have security software installed on your computer?

    3. when exactly you receive this error message?

    (a) I recommend you run a virus scan online from the link given below and check if the problem persists:

    Microsoft safety scanner

Also, make sure that you have the latest update of the software antivirus installed on your computer, so that it works correctly.

    (b) you can also download & run Microsoft Security Essentials on your computer.

Due to Windows Installer, you try to unregister Windows Installer, and then reregister Windows Installer and check if the problem persists. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. initially, box run, type "msiexec /unreg" and press ENTER on the keyboard.

    b. Type "msiexec/regserver" and press ENTER on the keyboard.

    Hope the helps of information.

  • Connection Manager HP stopped responding + Windows Installer Error 1719

    I am running Windows 7 (SP1) 64-bit operating systems.

Started getting an error message of connection manager HP "HP Connection Manager Service has stopped responding.  Error code 8008005.

    HP Connection Manager v4.1.23.1 running.
When I try to install a new version of v4.4.10.1 (SP58930) HP connection manager, I get an error of Windows Installer 1719.  Tried different solutions recommended for this, but nothing has worked.

I see in the forum after this uninstall of the current version and then install the new version of the HP connection manager can solve my original problem.

Before uninstalling the currenet HP Connection Manager version, I wanted to be sure that I will be able to install the new version without encountering Error 1719.  I don't want to be in an even worse situation of not being able to the HP Connection Manager after you uninstall it.

Can I get confirmation from HP that I will be able to successfully install a new version after uninstalling the current version?

Tried to install the HP (SP58930) connection manager and still have the error Windows Installer 1719.

What do you suggest I try next?

The fact that HP Connection Manager is no longer installed, how this will affect my computer?

The fact that it is no longer installed will have no effect on the functioning of your laptop and none on the operating system.

HP connection manager is simply a utility assistance for people who are making it difficult for the network through conections wifi and bluetooth connections.

If you are not in this group it is really useless.

From your description, it seems that if you can't follow instructions in the Microsoft fixit to the letter. By using the fixit is the easiest way to remove the registry entries and make changes to the registry that will allow installing and uninstalling software.  I can't recommend the methods that I use personally when I run on these issues because they involve access to the registry via regedit. The word people have never even heard of Regedit. Using Regedit can be a very bad thing for someone not experienced in the use of the registry editor.  All ch = angels did take place immediately and which included all the mistakes made during the access to the registry. Ongoing work on an operating system can fairly easily through the registry editor. Try the Microsoft fixit. It is a safe utility. Use it after an attempt to install and leave the window open until after error that does compete with the installation of the software.
