  I discovered that it affects all file extensions.  Files were created after adjustments in Bridge. Layer is not locked. The opacity is 46. Now that I have reviewed your response, I was watching a FAQ on the same thing. Honestly, I didn't know you can reset tools.

  I found out how to reset the CSTool and voila! Now, works great.

  Please go into Photoshop preferences and then go to the tab Type.

  In it please change the text engine to Asia to the Middle East.

  Restart Photoshop and then see if it works.

• The cutting tool will not work in trying to capture the menu drop-down

  I've recently upgraded to Office 2016 from 2013 and since then my Snipping Tool will not work correctly. I can always capture what I want except for the drop down menus. Eight other users are connected to my network of the company; all Windows 7, all Office 2016 and it works on all the computer but mine. I opened the Snipping Tool, click Cancel (tried to escape, too), and then open the menu drop down, press Ctrl + print screen and nothing happens. Can someone help me?

  I just thought of it myself. Used to work in previous versions using the Esc, then press Ctrl + print screen. Now, it's a little different.

  1. Your screen are preparing to capture you want, with the exception of the drop down.
  2. Open the capture tool and choose the type of capture you want (I use the Rectangle) and now the new part... Choose a delay for however many seconds you have to when you press New when you can open the drop desired down.
  3. Click new. (The capture tool will activate not to but the number of seconds you have chosen late.)
  4. Open your drop desired down and wait for the tool.
  5. Proceed as usual.

  I've updated to the latest version of Photoshop CC, and the Quick Selection tool does not work. I am able to make a choice, and then when I try to make multiple selections, I receive the ball well filled, and then nothing is selected.

  I have preferences in the performance, the value Panel "Big & Flat" in the historical and 'Basic' Cache in the settings of the graphics processor. Thus, the operating system is up-to-date.

  I restarted my computer, and now it works. Don't know what it is, but it works fine now.

  Horozantal tool will not work in CC 14.2. The tool creates the text layer, but the layer is emty. The type tool Horozantal has by default. So why isn't the text appears there? Here is the video screenshot for error http://youtu.be/G5kiLGyG_mM

  Depending on the size of your image, 12 pt is too small to appear.  Have you tried a larger font?  Also you did not show the character Panel in your video.  That has a lot of useful information.

• Uninstalled CC back to CS6, now dynamic links will not work!

• Selection tool will not adjust the forms

  For some reason when you work with illustrator my selection tools won't adjust the forms more. I can move the shapes but I can't resize them or stretch them. If I have a form of rectangle on my selected screen, the hatch which are normally found in the environment are no longer there, also on the edges of the rectangle of the selection tool is not switch to the rotation tool. My selection tool also has a small black square down to the right that I have not noticed before. I have no idea how I got into this mode or other whatnot, but any help to return to normal would be awesome, preferably without resetting all my preferences, thank you!

  Then, I worked with Illustrator CS5 perspective all day without problem mode, when three hours, widget scaling perspective Selection tool disappear on me. He'd only move items now. Tried to dig into the menus to see if there were a few shortcut that I accidentally hit which disables the scaling (for a reason any), went up to reinstall the program, nothing works.   If there is now no bounding box, then it's view > hide/show the bounding box or Command Shift B Mac or PC Control Shift B

  I recently creating couple objects in Illustrator until something happened with the selection tool. He is not in the same way as it is supposed to. Generally what happens, is when I place the selection above an object or a line tool, the line or object basically himself points out, without me by selecting the object. But now, the highest point game just does not appear when I move my selection on an object or lines or forms tool. It will highlight ONLY when I actually select it. So is there a way to fix this? Sorry, I don't really know many functions within Illustrator, still.

  As it is new files that have the problem, no existing files, I suspect it's that nothing related to the questions I've asked so far.

  Have you tried to reset your InDesign preferences?

  To do this, shut down InDesign, then:

  • (Windows) Start InDesign and press Shift + Ctrl + Alt to a click of compounds Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

  • (Mac OS) While pressing Shift + Option + command + control, start InDesign. When asked if you want to delete preference files, click Yes.

• InDesign CS3 toolbar will not work

  I'm having a problem with my tool palette works do not as well as the options above, when a file is opened.  I can change it manually on every tool except the two pointers.  Is there a way to get these things working in my preferences menu?  I work under Vista on a pc.  Also, when a file is open and I select tool (escape, v) and select an image, I can't change the size in the main menu either.

  In my view, another user has reported something as this caused by the use of large fonts in Windows.

  If you are using a desktop computer, the first thing to try is another keyboard and see if this fixes the problem

  If a laptop try a usb keyboard

  If that works for the laptop, contact the manufacturer of the laptop

• The selection tools will not choose paths.

  When objects are selected, the bounding box appears, but neither the paths or anchor points appear. How do I rectify this? I guess I've accidentally changed a setting, but there seems to be little light brought back online.

  CTRL / Cmd + H, view > show edges.

  It's most likely mishit everything, completely surrounded by other strikes; you thought you you simply repeated one of them, because he did not work the first time and then forget about it.
