CS6 no longer support new cameras?
Hello!
I may not be the only one here has a problem with the software offered only by monthly payment. As a professional photographer, I used ADOBE Photoshop and Lightroom products for many years and was happy with it.
As I bought two new cameras (Nikon D5 and D500) I am very disappointed to know that my Adobe Creative Suite Web & Premium with Adobe Photoshop CS6 extended inculded version is not able to open files from this camera more...
So if there there is no solution as a "backdoor" to open files or Adobe software that can be purchased without paying monthly fees, but just like the 'good' old days once I is obliged to find other software products and let Adobe as a customer...
Would be happy to know, I am mistaken and there is still a chance to get the support I need!

If you don't want to join the Cloud, download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the Raw files to DNG format change the DNG in CS6

If you update your photoshop cs6 to the camera raw 7.1 plugin, which should open files camera raw Nikon D800 in photoshop cs6.
Update, the simplest method is to go to photoshop cs6 Help menu and choose updates to download and install the camera raw 7.1 as well as other updates of photoshop cs6 which may be available.

L.R., I cannot import the photo of the new camera. Get the following message: "some files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom." Click below to view a version update of Lightroom. Done this and updated Lightroom 4.4. Still cannot import - get the same message.
Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw
The D610 requires LR version 5.3 or newer.
If you don't want to upgrade, you can download the current DNG Converter and convert the NEF files to DNG before importing the DNG files.

No, he won't be able to, Chris, since 5 Lightroom is is updated to support new devices. However, once the free Adobe DNG converter supports this camera, you can convert your raw files to DNG and then import the DNG files in Lightroom 5.7.1.

I recently bought a new camera from Sony a7 - ii. the first time I tried to import raw images taken with it (with a. Suffix ARW) the program says "Preview not available for this file" and then "files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom" I have the most updated version, I think as 5.7. What should I do to get these files imported as raw files?

The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.
Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices
You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

This device requires Camera Raw 8.8/9.0, which only CS6 or PS CC can handle. With CS5, you need to use the free DNG Converter.

If your camera is not supported in the list Ronald displayed, you will need to download the converter DNG - version 9.1 now and which allows you to convert your DNG files, before you can open them in Photoshop or see them in Bridge.

I've just updated to LR5. I also have a new camera. Nikon D800. Try importing directly (from the camera) in LR. But without success. Get the following message. "The files are a camera which is not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom." How can I import it please?

For various reasons I didn't want to be on the edge of bleeding with Win 8, so I wiped the HARD drive and installed a new version of Win 7 ultimate 64-bit (SP1 active and w and all the important courses updates installed).
This copy of Windows 7 was bought through a group with an Australian University license and came with a product key, but no certificate of authenticity. And before I forget, I have a 256GB SSD installed and where Windows 7 is installed. I also have the McAfee Security Center (11,6 V).
As part of my installation of productivity software I wanted to install Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft) and in the context of that, the lack of site MS to validate windows.
So I ran the validation tool and that's when I get the dreaded error on the tool of validation no longer supported.
Then, I searched and read value of hours of * about this error (more of which are dated before 2013). I tried many, many, many solutions proposed to MS only sources (including using IE 10) does not. However I managed to validate Windows using this page the problem is that no "validation code" is provided when running this test.
The validation code is required to download XP mode. So I'm back to where I started. Any help would be appreciated.
Additional information: Java version 7.5 installed.

'Could not initialize installation' could indicate a corrupted download. If you haven't done so already, try the following steps:
- Uninstall Lightroom 6: How to manually uninstall the Lightroom
- Use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove the remains of program use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems
- Download a new copy of Lightroom 6 to install Photoshop Lightroom
- Try reinstalling the program.
If, after re-downloaded, you keep getting the same error, I recommend you to review the installation log files to identify the specific error: Troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite install problems with log files.
