CTI Route Point 8.5 CUCM timeout

Hello guys!

I have several CTI Route Points configured for a paging system. I have configured the maximum number of calls on the CTI waypoints to 1 and the trigger busy at 1 to not prevent only one user to be able to send a live broadcast at the same time. Everything works as expected except when a user accidentally left the phone idle (the user never hang up), the route point will be held such as configured but my question is:

If there is a configurable timer or setting in order to cancel this call of the ICT point routing, so it can be slowed down again and other users to be able to send live broadcast page?

Paging system is InformaCast of SingleWire.

Thanks to the advanced guys!

The parameter only related to the call time is the maximum duration of the call, but this is a global setting, so it will affect all calls.

  • CUCM administration bulk - bulk change partition for CTI Route points?

    Hi support them.

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this... I'm trying to block of the waypoints for the ITC 100 + change in another partition within CUCM 8.6.2

I have made the numbers of phone book in the past, however impossible to find a way within the administration of the bulk to the CTI route points. Anyone has an idea on how to achieve this quickly and simply?

    See you soon

You cannot update CTI Points of the road as you can with the phones of update, you should delate them and re - add with BAT

  • CTI Route Point Call Forwarding

    Hi all

I'm running 10.5 CM and wanted to know if it was possible before/road called of a Point of ITC road to another CTI Route Point AND at the same time fighter pilot.

We have just received a new switchboard console and it does not support the Points of CTI road instead, use groups of hunting/line to ring the DNs directly. We wanted to keep our old switchboard console along side again until we're done installation/check the other.

One of my colleagues mentioned put the driver of hunting and the CTI Route Point in a hunt group and then reference the CTI route Point to that. Would this work?

Please do not hesitate to provide alternatives that you think will work.

    Thank you

    Matt

Hmm - you can't have a fighter pilot in the Group of the line.

There are two options I can think.

    (1) first of all is to have your old extension of CTI - RP and new extensions of the monitoring console in a group of curves. You can then select the algorithm broadcast under fighter pilot group, if you want to send the call for both consoles.

So you will have a new CTI - RP with call your everything to a fighter pilot. This fighter pilot will be a group of line containing all the extensions for the old and the new console monitoring

But the downside will be to ring all extensions in the line fighter pilot group at the same time - which means both the old SIC - RP and all extensions for the new console at the same time.

    (2) the second option is to use number SNU. You can add the driver of hunting like the remote destination for the main extension. This will send the call to the old switchboard console and the fighter pilot at the same time - fighter pilot will then hunt for extensions according to the configuration (it will not be broadcast, can be circular, top-down etc. According to your needs). Drawback here is THAT SNR also feeds a license essential or fundamental.

Others will also be consistent with more options I hope.

  • Menu without going through (CTI Route Point?)

I'm setting up a compound that when DN allows to bypass the automated menu system and placed the appellant directly in the queue.

I have the same as other DN CTI Road Plan Setup that bypasses its menu system. There is something somewhere that I'm missing. JTapi triggers correspond (in fact have been copied) operating one.

If you are working with IPCC Express, you will probably need to set up a new script, which does not have menus front-end. You can then assign this script to a new application that uses the new DN you until the trigger.

  • CCM & IPCCX routing redundancy

Type of emergency centar, I create

for technical support and it was essential to be available "25 hours of the day" mission I CCM 4.1.3 cluster with a 4.0.1 IPCCX

I configured routing CSQ, but want to have backup option routing in the event of failure IPCCX, is it possible to integrate (have some sort of to the front) CSQ with fighter pilot, list and group attacking backup, or staff busy no answer

Or is it better to have a hunt as first option routing

What can I do to have these options type of redundant

    Thank you!!

    Vlad

You're on target, if you only on IPCCX server, you can create a list/Fighter/fighter pilot group online that lists the extensions, and under the CTI Route Point pointing to the Application IPCCX in the cover/Destination towards the front of the non-response and the default enter the DN fighter pilot. Make sure that the CSS of the ITC RP has access to the Partition of fighter pilot, if not then assign correct CSS under the calling search space is filed next to the call before extensions.

    Thank you and best regards,

OK, these steps will seem familiar.

    5. NVRU Explorer - Type 10 Network VRU, label for the CUCM routing client associated with the customer instance. Let's say this is 1000003.

    6. NVRU Explorer - Type 10 Network VRU, label for the CVP routing client associated with the customer instance. Let's say this is 1000001 and 1000002.

Sorry, why you have different VRU transfer labels for your customers to routing two CVP? These should be the same. The front door will be a dial peer to make up for it and run the bootstrap, so he would look to 1000001 T. Everyone does the same thing (the doc of Cisco uses 8111111111).

I always like to do these EXACTLY the number of digits configured on the tab of the Max Length of DNIS ICM - this allows the server to call out the correlation ID. So in your case I 100000003 (CUCM RC) and 100000001 (all CR CVP).

Routing model has sent the 1000003xxxx call to CVP. It would normally start a new call, but the presence of the correlation ID that means it sends the info to the router and he finds the script, he stopped at the first send to VRU and it resumes.

    10. CVP has a static route on 1000003* to send the call to the CVP Call Server.

    You don't want the above.

Now, he meets a second Envoy to VRU. In this case, the RC is CVP - then it returns 1000001xxxx to the CVP and there is a static route to the gateway to start the bootstrap. If you're good.

I recommend the explicit send to VRU node. Easier to spot the error.

    Kind regards

    Geoff

  • Create different conversion rules in SRST mode

    Hello world

Have you ever tried to create rules of different translations for 'normal behaviour' and 'Behaviour SRST'?

    This is my problem:

In my company, we use waiting them console ARC for the reception, so on my H.323 gateway, I have the following translation-rule:

    translation of the voice-rule 1

rule 1 / ^ $/ /850/ (because the provider sends just the extension is empty when you call the reception)

The 850 leads to a CTI route point in CUCM, then the call goes to the CRA can.

But when the CUCM is broken and phones of failover mode SRST, reception is not available in addition to the outside, because routing CTI 850 is no more accessible. Thus, when SRST mode, I stand at the door of entry use this translation:

    rule 1 / ^ $/ /500/

so that calls to the home go to the actual DN of the receiving phone.

It is a kind of a conditional routing... (if mode normal, like this, but in SRST translate, translate like that...)

Have you guys tried to do something like that?

I've heard of conversion rules of voice in SRST mode (in call-manager-backup mode), but it doesn't seem to work...

    Good day

    Rémi

Use the command alias under SRST.

  • Voice mailbox for a call center?

I am having some problems where for my call center messages go to the wrong mailbox. I don't know if we have this set up correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Point of road SIC x 2288 (release of matches by the IPCC)

I have two boxes of 2288 and 2287 unity voice mail.

Now when someone calls technical support, they get the CSQ technical support or AutoAttendant CSQ (both are by the IPCC). When the appellant needs to leave a message, the call flow was designed to go to 2287, 2288 is a pointer of the unit until the Point of road of CTI. Can I have a voice mailbox configured to 2288 and remove the 2287 script? (A parameter, it is so easy to change). I'm not sure if change that will place the loop... call voicemail point to CTI road... that sends to the IPCC... to leave a voice message, they are transferred to 2288... who sends point routing CTI...

How did he know to take a message, instead of to the front to CallManager?

Is there an easier way or to create a mailbox for a call center?

Normally, the voicemail box must be different from the CTI RP DN.

So I think your configuration could be correct.

If your CTI RP pointing to CRS is 2288, in the sript that you tap voicemail DN, if this would be the same, then you will need to make sure that the CTI port doesn't have access to CTI 2288 Point Road, to the parition assigned to CTI route point poinitng to VM. I would you recommend leaving the voicemail as 2287 box so that way you don't have to worry about the possible loop.

What was your reason to change the voicemail box?

Gift? t think that your last mentioned solution will be easy to implement, although it might be possible with some direct access to database to callmanager, but seriously not recommended in my humble OPINION.

One thing to consider would be to set a variable, based on the trigger JTAPI who was called, or selections in the quick menus or caled number or anything that fits your needs. Then use this variable to distribute in the field of business data. Given that the company's data will appear on the client, you will be able to achieve your goal, I think...

We have a Manager call we use for AA to provide wishes and staff of mailbox access mailbox option and no DDI extension before you send us the receptionist (Call Manager driver Point to the monitoring console). Greeting for office hours and the other for off hours which takes messages.

We had a request to remove greeting during the hours of office, so the rings call the pilot immediately Point, but always need wishes and message opting for hours.

I have change the standard greeting of the current record to empty and the option after the salutation is to attempt to transfer to Pilot Point. This kind of work, but I get the system prompt to 'wait while I transfer your call', then a second or two from the Department of health before the Pilot Point rings.

Any way I can stop the system prompt and the Ministry of health before the transfer so that the caller hears only ringtone? Here's how incoming call:

RTC Via GW-> CTI Route Point-> Unit-> CM Point of pilot-> Attendant Console user

    TIA

    D

Check out this thread for more information on how to replace the system with a white prompt we so used to hear you it any longer:

do not forget that it is not taken in charge of TAC, and the change will be deleted when you upgrade so you don't have to remember to reapply after.

Not that you can do on the Department of HEALTH it - it is paid by the switch, not the unit.

  • Directory Manager extension

I have a handler directory implemented in the unit and it has the ext 555 assigned. We had never tried to call the Manager of the directory directly before I made a few changes to IPCC which has made a transfer to 555.

Interestingly enough 555 is not a unique name in the call manager. As a quick fix I put on a cti route point to the expansion of our auto attendant.

How can I get the 555 to the Directory Manager dn?

    HI -.

Here is a good link to Cisco on the parameters of Directory Manager - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a008022d1d5.html

Under create managers directory section, you can see recommendation "because directory handlers do not have greetings, use managers call or composition in one - key to route callers to a Directory Manager and use the call handler, greeting to explain the options of the appellant for each Directory Manager'. We even cannot dial 555 directly, but you can compose the backdoor to the unit and the opening greeting and dial 555 from there to join the default directory Manager. In our vows of openness, we have one-key composition the * to reach the Directory Manager, instead of asking the user to enter 555. If your auto attendant is configured in the unit, you can include in the greeting callers to support key to reach the directory. Then go to the input of the appellant section and set up the Action of the button to select the Directory Manager.

    Kind regards

  • IVR script question

I try to write the script with the menu option, but I can't jump using '2' in step 2 (jump in Output 1 using '1' is successful).

    Where is my fault?

First of all, make sure that you put in the name of the script exactly (it is case-sensitive). Then, after you click ok, you must actually compose the CTI route Point which will trigger the script. For example, if your script is associated with an application with a trigger JTAPI 1234, configure debugging reactive, then dial 1234 on one of your phones. Then you will be able to step through it one step at a time (F10 key will move to the next step in the script) until you find the problem.

    Good luck

  • Problem with public mailing list as the owner of the call handler

I configured a call aa with extention Manager 2000.

Also set up a Point of road Cti with 2000 on Callmanager extension. The Cti route Point will send all calls to voicemail.

When I choose a Subscriber as the owner of the call handler, I can compose 2000 and attain salvation.

But when I choose a public mailing list as the owner of the call handler, I hear the system error during a call to 2000. There that anything wrong here?

I tried to reproduce your problem on the 4.0 unit (3) Sr and CCM 4.0 (1) but has not had a problem. I changed the owner of a PDL with a single Subscriber.

I think that your problem may actually be the bond of MESSAGES for the CH. Make sure that the recipient is valid. If it is NULL, you'd hear failsafe.
