  Run your anti-virus software, then download and run Malwarebytes Anti-malware program. Delete everything they find.

• HP envy 5530: printer Cup emails in width and loses 1/3 of the words on the right side

  When printing emails, 1/3 of the words from the inside of the right margin are cut and do not print.

  Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

  Emails are tricky - and not all email clients are the same, neither are the browsers where you can print the email.  Almost anything could break the margins on the right side.

  Please take a look at the following and see if anything here helps - and you can also try opening your emails using another browser, too.  Yes, I know - eew.  But it might help to see what is happening.  In addition, it could give you an idea, if the problem is universal, i.e. emails look bad / feel bad no matter what you use.

  You might be able to use 'Fit to page' in print preview mode, or you might be able to control the margins by adjusting the actual "margins" - also in mode print preview.

  If all else fails, you may view the email and take a 'Snip' from the email, save it and then print the image you saved.  Ick.  But it could be something that you could use as a last resort.

• OfficeJet Pro 8630 Cup image of the logo of my company in Word doc and Quickbooks invoice template

  My 8630 Pro of Officejet newly installed works fine except it won't print a picture of the logo in a Word doc and a Quickbooks invoice. The logo image is near the top of these two documents. I tried the full software and the base out of the site of HP driver. Nor will not work. I broke the 8630 K8600 driver and it printed the logo and the rest of the document correctly but real soon. I use this in a small business. My other 3 types of (all HP) printers print the same Word documents and invoices from Quickbooks without problem. Convert .pdf files works but is not an effective workaround solution in a business environment. The printer test page shows that I use mxdwdrv.dll name driver, config file UniDrvUI.dll and driver version 6.00. Ever run HP Update, Print & Scan doctor and confirmed the new firmware.

  Thanks for the tips. I had one of my guys call the support company and he now works correctly with the driver Deskjet 6980. I seems a little slower, but works perfectly for us. I think that the phone call was more than 2 hours.

• Cannot delete or rename a file Word via Windows Explorer

  Windows 7 - Word 2007. Modification of a file .doc (compatibility mode) where the word went into a loop where it ignored all the entries. I waited for half an hour and finally had to stop the word with the Task Manager. The file that was opened at the time cannot be deleted or renamed. Same results when the system is booted in safe mode. Message is "the action cannot be completed because the file is opened in Microsoft Office Word. Word is NOT open at this stage. Result even after a reboot and no further action other than the attempt to delete the same message.

  If the file is opened in Word and immediately closed with no action of any kind, always the same result, cannot delete the file and the same message is given.

  Surprisingly, the file can be copied but try to remove the copy gets the same message.

  However... I found a way to remove the file. The BACK DEL cmd line feature deletes the file. We have to be careful and make sure that absolutely nothing reference file. The first time I tried to delete the file that I had Windows Explorer open and the file was clicked and the first page was displayed in the preview window and the DEL command failed, noting that the file is open in another application.

  When I closed the window of the Explorer and retried the DEL command, it worked!

  Unfortunately it took me almost two days to think about trying the DOS command line utility. I won't forget her now.

  I can't get rid of the read-only attribute and therefore every change requires a new version of the file.

  If we check the file properties in Windows Explorer the read attribute alone is NOT defined.

  Hi, I am unable to print from my MacBook Pro on my HP b110c all-in-one. It's the exact error message trying to print:

  I found info on 'wash' of the software, and then reinstall Mac OS Snow Leopard and higher, but I'm under Leopard (1.5.8). Is there a protocol to follow to solve this problem for my OS? The only way I found to print correctly is immediately after the restart of the entire computer. Obviously, I can't do it every time I want to print.

  I can print a printer status report, there is no problem getting that. The problem is trying to print from my hard drive (Word doc, PDF, etc.).

  So if uninstall does not work, try the cleaning brush as well. When you click the button uninstall, press the keys 'Ctrl', 'ALT' and 'CMD' - this should allow the cleaning brush. If this also fails, you can manually delete the following folders and files:

  -Go to Mac HD/Applications and delete the Hewlett-Packard folder

  -Go to the Mac HD/Library/Application Support and removes all of the HP files

  -Go to Mac HD/Library/Caches and delete all the files in com.hp

  -Go to Mac HD/Library/Preferences and delete all files com.hp and HP or Hewlett-Packard files

  -Go to Mac HD/library/printers and delete hp folder

  -Go to Mac HD/library/receipts and remove any package of HP

  -Go to Mac HD/Library/Startupitems and remove any file from HP

  -Then, go to the users/library folder and delete all the files and folders associated with HP in the Printers folder and preferences.

  Restart the Mac and then empty the trash.

  I installed RoboHelp trial in Windows 7 64 bit with Office 2010.  But the Office 2010 file format is not recognized in RoboHelp.  Word 2010 is not listed under options.  How to configure RoboHelp, such as Word 2010 files are recognized by HR.

  Adobe (or Macromedia who owned RoboHelp before purchased Abobe) have not changed the RoboHelp for Word in a long, long time. So if the documentation says that Word 2010 is not supported, it is not. Your only option then is to use a supported Word version or hover over using RoboHelp HTML.

  If you produce a CHM file is by far the best option. Why? To start, it uses the actual HTML source code. RoboHelp for Word does not. He uses the word. It can convert Word to HTML file (very well) but the result is widely accepted to be hopeless. So, you are likely to get all sorts of questions.

  It's your choice but producing CHM of the RoboHelp for Word application is like trying to run a 100 meters race while drinking a cup of coffee. It can be done, but it will slow you down and do a lot of damage in the meantime

• Doc MS Word 11 won't save

  Since the upgrade to Sierra I can't save a Word of MS Office 11 doc on my iMac.

  I left / restarted / safebooted / tried to save to Documents / tried to save it as a .doc, all to nothing done.

  All other operations look good, like the rest of the suite Office.
