    Greetings eklisiarh,

    Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple. I see that there is a folder with about 300 PDF files that you are not able to search through the search option. I know that the research allows me to find just the right file. I'll be more than happy to help.

    You did a great job so far with re-indexing of that folder. First of all, to start in safe mode. This will be clear cache files and perform a few system checks. Once in safe mode, see if you can search inside this folder. Here is the article about how to start in safe mode. You can ignore the part where it says "If your Mac does not complete startup".

  • In Windows 7, selecting "Automatically expand to current folder" in Windows Explorer, it does not work

    In Explorer windows (win7... new laptop...?) activating the box "Automatically expand to current folder" does not work. I went through tons of forums and no one can answer this recurrent problem.

    If I navigate through the folders in the left pane using the arrow keys: the right pane should follow! and display the contents of the folder.

    What is the difference with the guys who claim that this box, it's employment and tons of guys for whom this box makes no difference at all including me?

    Please provide a solution! Many of us will enjoy!

    OK, so now that I've been messing around with this problem its as magically started working for the first time (within 6 months) on my personal laptop...

    I think I know what fixed it. I remember toggling the 'automatically expand to current folder' option in right mouse click an empty link in the navigation pane (it was already placed on). When I did it first, it did not work. I remember deselection and then selecting once again, and it still doesn't work. I went back to folder options and (this is where it gets fuzzy) I think I've deselected and not selected again from there, still no luck.

    So I opened the registry to verify automatically expand them to current folder key is set to 1. It was so I let fall, don't make any changes to the registry. I posted the above comment and left my PC, still running, no reset.

    9 hours later I come home and hey presto all his work.

    Go figure.

    Now that his work, using the Folder Options box still does not work with it all - either to the value on or off. Using a right-click in the browser window works, but the effect is not immediate. We need to change at least a folder selection (double click on a folder) in the file list pane before the change takes effect.

    I'll test this fix some information on other portable dozens that have this problem and present the results here.

  • Save a file opened under PSD in the current folder without prompting?

    I'm trying to find a way to save an open file as a PSD (from JPG) in the current folder without me.  It seems that it should be so simple.  I use CC 2014.  Using the Image Processor would work, but it creates a new PSD file.  (I tried to modify the imageprocessor.jsx to remove the path, but it did not... maybe because I tried to run the jsx to my office instead of the script folder?  I don't have access to modify the original unfortunately.)

    So yes, just trying to make an action that does stuff and then record it without requiring any interaction.   The closest thing I've found is this script that does everything I want EXCEPT the active document remains a jpg instead of becoming the new DSP.  so I end up having to save anyway and the open the PSD again to continue editing.

    Save the copy under PSD

    var doc = app.activeDocument;

    var Path = doc.path;

    var Name = doc.name.replace (/ \.) [ ^\.] +$/, '');

    Var suffix = "-copy";

    var saveFile = file (path + "/" + Name + ".psd");

    SavePSD (saveFile, 8);

    function SavePSD (saveFile) {}

    psdSaveOptions = new PhotoshopSaveOptions();

    psdSaveOptions.embedColorProfile = true;

    psdSaveOptions.alphaChannels = true;

    activeDocument.saveAs (saveFile, psdSaveOptions, true,

    Extension.LOWERCASE);

    }

    Thank you!

    Change

    activeDocument.saveAs (saveFile, psdSaveOptions, true, Extension.LOWERCASE);

    TO

    activeDocument.saveAs (saveFile, psdSaveOptions, false, Extension.LOWERCASE);

  • Then a script, I would like to save in the current folder.

    Hello, during a script I would save my. In PSD. JPG in the current folder (I own the CS6 version).

    Example:

    I have several file Win7: 001, 002, 003...

    Text for example my file 001 then I created in this folder of the UN 001.psd.

    I would so that when I run my script with a "save under" or no "save pour web" that he carries a copy of this file in. JPG, but in this current folder 001.

    The same so pour the other folders. If I run my script from file 002. PSD so the 002. JPG will have to register in case 002 so now...

    As indeed the srcipts registered each time a specific path.

    Do you have a solution? (I also said that I have a very good level in photoshop)

    Thanks for your help.

    Learn Photoshop menu file > Scripts > image processor.  The plug-in version even better is that you can download and install on the Image Processor Pro web. Once installed you access using the File menu > Automate > Image Processor Pro.

  • Put the new email in the current folder

    By:

    Change | Accounts settings | (account). Copies & folders | "When sending messages, automatically:

    There is an option for the "responses of Place in the folder of the message being replied to.

    I would like a way to do exactly that, except with the answers, but with the new email I'm compose/send. It seems quite natural.

    For example, I have several clients and a folder for each client. When I answer to my customers, the answers come in appropriate customer records. Perfect. But when I write a new message to a client, is it not logical to also put this message in the folder of the respective customer? Instead, will all my mail sent to my "sent" folder, and I have to remember to fish out them and drag them into the respective customer records. It is a nuisance.

    I hope that it is already a feature. If this is not the case, this consider a request feature.

  • Copy the file to the current folder using QFile

    Hi, I'm not too familiar with C++ and how bb10 manages the file system, and I'm trying to save the phone for assets app folder

    I've searched the forums and this is what I have so far

    QFile::copy(QDir::currentPath() + fromPath, QDir::currentPath() + toPath);

    where fromPath is the selectedFile from the picture picker (/ accounts/1000/shared/camera/IMG_00000151.png) and toPath is the path that I've specified (/ app/native/assets/pictures/IMG_00000151.png)

    The problem is, QDir::currentPath() is back - /accounts/1000/appdata/com.example.TestApp.testDev_ple_TestApp96d891e_

    Thus, the copy of the path becomes

    /Accounts/1000/APPDATA/com.example.TestApp.testDev_ple_TestApp96d891e_/accounts/1000/shared/camera/IMG_00000151.PNG

    So I modified the fromPath to remove ' / accounts/1000 "so that the copy of the path becomes

    /Accounts/1000/APPDATA/com.example.TestApp.testDev_ple_TestApp96d891e_/shared/camera/IMG_00000151.PNG

    But it does not save yet. My question is, what should the copy of the path and fromPath look like?

    Sorry for this noobish question.

    I didn't notice you are trying to copy the current file. Assets folder is read-only (at least on the device Simulator it is possible to write in it). Use data / folder instead, it is read-write, but is deleted if the application is uninstalled.

  • By clicking on "New folder" to save a bookmark, it changes just the current folder instead of create a new folder. This seems to be a bug.

    Here are the steps I did it worked before and the unwanted results:
    -Click on the bookmarks menu
    -Click on "Bookmark this page".
    -Click on the arrow pointing down in the folder field
    -Click on "select".
    -Click on "new folder."

          • No new folder created.

    -So, clicked on one of my folders
    -Click on "new folder."

        • Here is just to put the file that I had previously selected in edit mode.

    I wish to have a new folder, do not change the name of an existing folder.

    Counting that I have 13 folders, I see two named "new folder", so maybe that's more a problem with the selection of the folder for the edition is that the folder has not been created. Whatever it is, it always seems to be a bug.

    I followed the suggestion to disable the theme. Not sure if this has solved the problem or if restarting my computer (from hibernation) it is resolved, but it seems to work now...

    Except, it is used to put the new name of folder directly in edit mode. A little annoying, but I can do this simply double-click the name highlighted.

    I was able to rekindle my theme and it still works.

    Links to secondary suggestions talked about issues I've ever lived.

    Thanks for your help.

  • How can I search only current folder in windows 8

    How can I disable the search for subfolders in windows 8?

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community and thank you for the post.

    I see that you want to disable the search in subfolders in Windows 8.

    I'm afraid to inform you that there is no option in Windows 8 to turn off to search in subfolders. It's normal.

    To learn more about search options, you can follow the steps here.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/search-apps-files-settings

    However you can use the indexing feature in Windows 8 to increase the search speed. Windows lists the locations most frequently searched on your PC to make your research faster. To add an item to the index, the simplest method is to include a folder in a library. When you do this, the contents of this folder is automatically indexed.

  • Cannot drag the files from the current folder to bin

    I have the trial version; 8.1 - Mac OS x 10.9.5

    I'm on the second video of the tutorial. I can't all files - jpg or mp4 - drag to the folder of images or images.

    This is very simple and minimum prevents me from going forward in the tutorial - disappointing.

    Thank you all for help.

    Mystery solved, at least in part. On line dotted pointing to the folder, the magnifying glass icon indicates that it is a 'research bin'. This type of location has been added in version 20141 (October 2014). Search locations show only the project items corresponding to your search criteria - things like a string of letters in the name, the type of assets or metadata as cadence. Since these special bins are filled in by the program based on the search criteria, so you can manually add anything whatsoever to such a location. To learn more about the search locations, please visit this page for help: Help for Adobe Premiere Pro | Find assets

    The remaining part of the mystery is where these ferries two search has come. But for your immediate needs than theoretical. It seems that what you need right now is a new tray of Stills, that you can create by clicking on the button new bin in the lower right corner of the project Panel.
