I think I have accidentally pressed on a bad aftering key logged which caused my pad mouse and keyboard lock. I tried to reboot and login back but the keyboard and mouse always lock once he connected.  Any help is appreciated.

You can probably fix your problem by using the system restore. Here's how it works:
    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
    2. select Repair from the menu.
    3. Enter the administrator password when you are prompted. It is often empty.
    4. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    5. set Windows to a point before this problem occurred.

  • Satellite NB10T-A-101 - mouse pad does not work

I have a touch screen for Toshiba Satellite NB10T-A-101, the touch screen works very well but I use mostly the mouse pad I find using the slider easier.

But recently my guarded cursor freezing for a second or two and then to spend once again, but now the mouse pad seems not working with the left and right click buttons work but not the touchpad.

I made sure the touchpad is enabled in the mouse settings, so I don't really know what to do now.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
    Thank you

    Hello

Have Hmm you also checked the FN + F5 key combination?
This would enable and disable the touchpad as well.

But from my point of view, it would be possible that the touchpad module is malfunctioning.
I m thinking about the hardware malfunction because the touchpad buttons work and just touch the touch work area module doesn't correctly.

Usually, if the touchpad would be handicapped by any software, both; as well as the touch buttons does not work.

  • Satellite C70D - impossible to unlock the mouse pad

    Hello

My mousepad doesn' works as it should. I tried to unlock with FN + F5, only F5, FN + F9,... but nothing helps.
All I can do is move the cursor and use the mouse pad when it keeps the left mouse button at the same time.

To be honest I don't never heard such behavior touchpad.
Did you test all parameters of the touchpad?
If there is possibility to set all settings as default please do and test the functionality again.

In any case, best test material is to reinstall the operating system and check the functionality of the touchpad with "presets".

My mousepad on my netbook from benq does not work. However, when I plug in a mouse, it works. This problem started after I used the F3 function in an (unsuccessful) attempt to try to watch a slideshow on our TV. have tried function F3 new in case that was the problem but no luck. How can I get the mouse pad, talking about the cursor on the new screen? Cheers.

    Hello
Looks like you have disabled the touchpad somehow. On some laptops, it has a real button on or near the touchpad to reactivate. If your laptop doesn't have anything like that, please see this thread.

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itprogeneral/thread/a2c8b891-09a0-4F0A-9419-c21190fff642/

It details how to disable the touchpad, so if you follow the instructions you should be able to navigate to where you can turn on the touchpad.

I hope this helps. Just reply to the results.

    Hello

First of all, download driver Synaptics relevant of links below and Save tgis setup in your downloads folder.

    Synaptics Installer - Windows 8.

    Synaptics Installer - Windows 7.

Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

You may now set the different options you need - see the following document.

    Configure the ClickPad.

I just saw the optical mouse doesn't work does not in many different places, Carlos. They do not in fact around 80/20.

The mouse mat shouldn't have any model of contrast on this, btw. When you put your logo on a mouse pad, an optical mouse more will have probably the cursor jump around like drunk.

  • Qosmio X 870 - mouse pad does not work properly

    Hello

My mouse pad is facing upward and I don't know why. It works when I restart the laptop, then after a few minutes, it does not at all. I checked the properties in Device Manager and it says it works properly... which is not the case. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled. He always does.

Not sure if this is related to some of my key of F does not not to my other thread - https://forum.toshiba.eu/showthread...ns-not-working

A question I've had for a while (which may or may not be related) is my TOSHIBA x 64 compatible ACPI logical value and general-purpose device has a problem. On the device manager says "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) ». I uninstalled and reinstalled this with driver Toshiba utility pack and it always happens with this error. I cleaned the registry several times using tuneup utilities 2013. It is probably not bound as it has been like this for a long time with no obvious side effects. But it's annoying nevertheless.

Maybe windows 10 could save the day (I'm on the 8.1). I hope. In the meantime if anyone has any suggestions I would be very happy.

Good, someone else who might find this is useful - it turns out that it was a hardware failure. My laptop hinge was loose, and therefore the case had to be replaced. He also replaced the mouse pad - now it works fine.

  • Mouse pad does not work properly

I bought my laptop toshiba 2 moths ago, but yesterday, my mouse pad no longer works correctly.

I can still use it to move the arrow on the screen but cannot use it to doubleclick on something else.
I need to use it in conjunction with my left hand button which is very frustrating.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to solve this problem, thanks

On this virtual path, it is not easy to understand what is the problem there. It is not easy to tell if problem described is related to the touchpad software.

Try to do system restore and roll back the OS a few days back and check if the same problem persists.

By the way: which laptop model you have and what operating system are you using?

  • Satellite L775 - mouse pad does not work properly

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L775. I run Win 7 Home Premium. My mouse pad does not work properly. I also have a Logitech Anywhere MX wireless mouse. I tried the mouse pad to work properly with the key FN and F9, but it does not work. And you really have no idea if that turns or out of the mousepad anyway, subj for another time I guess.

What does not work, but I have to do is to go to Control Panel then mouse option load that and just scroll the tabs without changing what each time and then close and the touch pad works. But only for this session. If I have my laptop nearby, or turn it off, I have to start throughout the whole process.

What's past and how to fix this?

    Thank you very much.

    > What's past and how to fix this?
After reading your ad, I still don t know what is your problem.
    > My mouse pad is not working properly
How to understand this? What does not work properly? What happen exactly when you start your laptop?
