Customizing "No Data View" in 11g

Hello

I want to know how to put "No Data" in 11g, I used a 'HTML Code' to display 'Symbol' in 10g, but the same code does not work in 11g.

Kindly help

Kind regards

Hi Jitendra

How can I get the image I want to display with this message?

The easiest way is to host the image on another server and reference it via a HTML img like this tag:

The most complex is to host the image on the same server as your OBIEE 11 g install but you will need to do some customization to deploy a web application. The procedure can be found here.

http://www.rittmanmead.com/2010/12/Oracle-BI-EE-11g-styles-skins-custom-XML-messages/

You should always use a HTML image tag in this case also.

Kind regards
Paul

    Hi TimRsandiego,

    SignalExpress is programmed to display graphs with default scales based on the type of action, it's reading. These scales and settings can be changed by right-clicking on the graph, and then select Properties.

    If you are interested to learn more about how to use SignalExpress, I would recommend checking out some demonstrations/tutorials on NI.com. You can find some of these demos at the following location:

  • Cannot scale manual setting of the time in the data view - returns to autoscale on track

    There was a similar post someone SignalExpress assessment but they have not answered follow-up questions.

    I can't set the time scale (x-axis) in the data view.  When I deactivate autoscale and manually enter a value, it seems to change, that it appears correctly in both the preview and the data display pane, until I hit, then it returns to the autoscale.

    It's maddening.

    The attached JPG illustrates this behavior.

    Hello

    To resolve this problem, you must right-click on the graph in the data view.  Select scale X"uncheck Autoscale.  Then, double-click most value and change the value for the value of low/high range for the desired field of view.  Change the scale of this way back not to Autoscale during execution.

  • How can I update the custom object data card?

    Hello world

    We maintain a field check box on one of our custom objects data sheets.  I took a quick glance at the Eloqua REST API of Fred Sakr and found c# library class "customobjectdata", but there are only methods to get data cards and create new maps.  Someone at - it an example of updating an existing data card?

    I also took a glance to the bulk API but this would bring additional complexity to our development effort.  It seems that there must be a way to do this with a single call.

    I am open to the use of the SOAP API if this action is not possible using REST.

    OK, I see the question... to version 8 of Acrobat sourceset Dom was locked so that if you try and change you will get security errors.

    There is a good explantion in blog of Stefan Cameron located here:

    http://Forms.stefcameron.com/2006/12/07/better-form-design-with-XFA-25/

    Down is a solution for sunbathing with current versions.

    The other option is to target your form for an earlier version, when this restriction did not exist. In the properties of the form vhoose a target version of the 7.0.5 and your code will work fine (no error).

  • Live View Live Data View CS3 vs. CS4

    In DW CS3, I was able to edit php on Design with Live Data View mode pages. Without it the page not showed correctly. This makes life easy adding content to the clients web pages (the main pillar for the maintenance of web sites).

    With DW CS4 this feature seems to have been deleted, or maybe I can just work on how to get it.

    Add a lot of content in code view is a pain - can someone tell me so and why this changed and DW became a fancy coding tool but that the workhorse that it used to be?

    To access the Live view data in CS4, select view > Live Data or use the
    shortcut keyboard, Ctrl + Shift + R / Shift + Cmd + R.

  • Modeler data viewer - column comments

    I was looking for a table in the shape data viewer and noticed that I can not see any comments if they are too long to fit in the text box. There is a scroll bar, but it cannot be moved.

    Is it going to be fixed in a later version, or is it an element of intent?

    I logged a bug for this. As workaround - you can find the primary key in the browser and can open the Properties dialog box.

  • Live data view

    Please excuse the noob question, as I'm pretty new to this whole mess. I use Dreamweaver 8 on Vista Ultimate with all bells and whistles installed IIS. I have all administrator privileges.

    I'm trying to set up a Web page that can put/get a simple MS Access 2007 database records.

    Say that I call my site 'Test '. I've implemented all local content in a folder

    C:\Users\Me\Documents\Web_Sites\Test

    And set up a remote folder and my test server folder in

    Inetpub\wwwroot\Test C:\

    I of course have already configured my Access database and established as a data source using the ODBC Administrator. Connection all tests check out OK.

    Now for the problem:
    I'm trying to create a Javascript .asp page (let's call it "/file.asp"), connect to the database and create a Recordset. I drag and drop recording of data, I want to display my .asp page and just to see if the thing works, I hit the live data view button to see what it gives me. I get the following error:

    "An error occurred in asking for the document from the test server:

    "An error has occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator.

    If I try to open the page in Internet Explorer by going to

    http://localhost/test/file.asp

    I get a HTTP 500 error, which I understand he says essentially nothing.

    Anyone have any ideas what I should do to get this simple scenario to work?

    OK, problem solved! The second problem was just residual code from a previous version of the file that has not been deleted for some reason any. Create a new file and POW! She works!

    Ha ha ha ha ha! Eat, Dreamweaver!

  • Evolution of the null value in the data view tab

    Is it possible to update a null value in the data view table tab? When I delete the value, it creates a sql such as

    Update table set column is where id = 1;.

    How to fill a null from the data tab?

    I met (and displayed) on this same problem some time. (See forum article "invalid column index: getValidColumnIndex" in SQL Developer 1.5.4 . "") Jim Smith pointed out it seems to be the reappearance of an old bug.

    There are some alternatives. One is "do-it-yourself" in the SQL or SQL worksheet * more. (I.e., "UPDATE someTable SET someColumn = NOTHING WHERE tablePKColumn = pkValue;". The other is to use an earlier version of SQL Developer for that in the view of table data. (I still have Developer SQL 1.5.1 installed just for this reason).

    I hope this helps.

  • How do we use a custom in AvailableRefinements view?

    HELO,

    We want to use a custom view (subset of the Base) in the component AvailableRefinements (Guided Navigation) but only the Base view appears for the selection even though other published views exist in the application.

    It is even possible to use a custom for this component view? If not, then what is the best way to achieve this?

    We have different types of data all combined into a single dataset. It may be that a single application with multiple screens and each screen should show a specific data type. There are also some common attributes. These attributes shared by guided Navigation should show only values that belong to the data type of screen. The custom view would help if guided Nav accepts one.

  • During extraction from multi org data views from Super user responsibility

    We have a report of accounts receivable custom in our instance of R12 (version: 12.1.3;) RDBMS: 11.2.0.3.0).

    We have created several operating units and corresponding claims responsibility. There is also a responsibility of super user of receivables. The query in my report uses the display:. ar_cash_receipts_v I pass an optional parameter ORG_ID (using the value FND_MO_OU), get the data of the respective ORGANIZATIONAL unit.

    Since this is a multi org reviews, it doesn't work (data gives) when only a corresponding profile option for this ORGANIZATIONAL unit is set. To test the query, I checked this using mo_global. SET_POLICY_CONTEXT API. But in super user, we have to get the data for all the organizational units that are attached to it when I pass null to the ORG_ID parameter. However, the view is unable to provide data in this case. (even if an ALL_OU profile can be found in this case.)

    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
    Oracle Applications R12 EUL

    All,

    So far, we have put our customized views of discoverer in our apps schema. The 'monitoring' point of view and from the perspective of 'split views apps Disco', we tend to create a custom schema to place all our custom views of discoverer. I heard that Noetix does as well.

    To do this, we intend to provide a select grant for all tables, views, and synonyms (with an execute rights) limited for some packages.

    The best thing to do is to continue to do what we are doing. We have a naming in place scheme that allows us to quickly identify all custom views of Disco.

    Then I have people who have implemented a scheme customized to their point of view of Disco in apps made me know how it worked for them? This type of environment Disco seems to need a lot of communication between staff of the nightclub and the DBA to ensure that these subsidies are set up correctly.

    Thank you

    Hello

    All eBS sites I've worked on that have created the majority of their custom views in the scheme of APPS using a naming convention to separate seeded views. The reason is that the SQL in the view (including all function calls) is executed with the privileges of the owner of the view. If the view is defined in another schema, this diagram must have access to objects in database APPS that can be a lot of work to put in place because it is very difficult to identify the dependencies and needlessly opens the security on the APPS schema.

    Where the data in custom tables and there is point of view on these tables custom, then both tables and views are held in a separate schema.

                }

            }

    I made a custom for my listview data template and set it from code. The above code works very well, if a QString QVariant returned from data() model. I wanted to return a TableItem (my custom table point) containing several Q_PROPERTY - ies, and set the values of different properties for different components. My data model:

    QVariant TableModel::data(const QVariantList& indexPath) {
        if (indexPath.at(0).toInt() == 0) {
            // first cell (header)
            return QVariant("header");
        }

        int index = indexPath.at(0).toInt();

        TableItem* item= _tableItems.at(index-1);
        QVariant var= QVariant::fromValue(item);

        return var;
    }

    I have posted the question before returning and all properties are very well (has a valid value). All properties return QString and the class has a declared metatype. If I come to the question as I write, I get ".

    Asset: / / / table. "QML:52: impossible to assign s1::TableItem * to QString", which means TableItem is successfully transmitted. I tried to access different properties by calling:

    Label {
           text: ListItemData.myPropertyName

    or

    Label {
           text: ListItemData.myPropertyGetter

    but without success.

    How can I get a property value of an item that is spent by the Member my data model custom data() function?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    I see two ways to solve your problem...

    1 use a card instead of your object (friendly variant)

    2. use a GroupDataModel - it can store QObject *-not just Variant. This post shows this work... http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/native-development/update-sorting-in-ListView/m-p/2629493#M50...

    GroupDataModel can do automatic headers. You can also just insert a header in the datamodel-, so you do not need to override the data function...

    Thank you.
