The OfficeJet 4500 Caller ID log

I have an OfficeJet 4500 All in a G510n-z.

Is there a log of ID calling I can consult?

Hi Jeff17866,

Welcome to the forums!

If I understand correctly, you are looking to find the history of caller ID.

Try to select Configuration, printer report, Caller ID history report and press OK. History should print for you.

The same instructions are specified in the Page 59 of the User Guide.

I hope this helps!

Kind regards

If the Officejet 4500 Wireless is configured on a network, then you print an app on the iPad.

There is an application called HP ePrint home & Biz application which can be downloaded on the iPad.  This application allows a user to print from mobile devices such as the iPad.

    Hello

Thank you for using the forum.

Can select you the correct printer from the link, download and install the FULL features software. Make sure that you choose to win 10 of the operating system.

Hello, you printer HP Officejet 4500 Wireless all-in-One Printer - G510n cannot work in the band ONLY, but your new router can be configured to accept the 802. 11b / g wireless protocols and be able to continue to use your printer. Hello, a recent update of fiber in my house left me without an Ethernet cable to my HP OfficeJet 4500 G510-M.

Can I connect a wireless adapter to the ethernet port on the printer?  I could use the USB connection, attach it to a computer and share the printer to the network.  I thought to fix a wireless to the printer adapter would give me the most flexibility.

    Thoughts?

    Hello @tarfy58,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you are looking for alternative methods to put your Officejet 4500 G510-M on your network.

    I would like to help.

Unfortunately the printers firmware would not know what to do with the wireless adapter.

You would need something like HP 1200w NFC/Wireless Mobile Print accessory.

The only downside is that I saw the Officejet 4500 on the list of supported printers.

Please check the specs of the device, in case I missed it.

Your method the most effective would be to use the USB connection, attach it to a computer,

and share the printer to the network.

I don't think there is a hard drive on your machine, but if there was, there would be an option to wipe it in the webserver integrated under the Security tab.

  • Printer OfficeJet 4500 is not the powersave mode

I just got a printer wireless HP OfficeJet 4500 (CN547A). This printer seems to be all the time and won't in powersave mode. After discussions with tech support, my understanding is that if no print jobs are sent to the printer at the end of an hour, the printer is supposed to enter powersave mode. I do not understand why it remains online in the State of full power all the time. I first asked HP support about this and they had me unplug the printer and press on and press and hold the # and 3 while plugging him back in. That seemed to put the printer in mode powersave, but then as soon as I printed something, that he would stay in line other times, as in, it would still be online in a status of full power several hours after it printed something. The next technician I chatted with that suggested I have unplug the printer, then press and hold the # 6 button while plugging back in. That was exactly equals the previous reset method. Why the printer is not entering powersave mode?

    I have the same problem.

Product name: HP Officejet 4500 G510n-z

    Model number: CN547A

    Firmware: MWM2FN0944AR

I tried unplug him and plug in now # 3.  This just reset the values by default, so I need to hang it on the wireless connection.

I did a scan and he returned to power in 20 minutes saving mode.  However, I printed a test page (google.com search), and it has been two hours and not yet in power save mode.

AFAICT, there is no firmware available to upgrade the Officejet 4500.

  • HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not appear on the control panel

My HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not appear on the control panel.  How to fix it.  I have a laptop Toshiba and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.  Help, please.    rwillm

    Hey,.

Thanks for the update, rwillm.  It seems that the installation of the printer can be a little messed up.  If the printer software is always installed, but simply lacks the printer, then I would advise to do a little cleaning before choosing to add the printer back.

    • Make sure that the printer is deleted from the file devices and printers
    • Click on one of the remaining printers folder
    • Select the properties of the print server at the top of the window
    • Click the tab drivers
    • Remove all drivers in this window for the Officejet 4500

Also check in the Device Manager to verify that there is no mention of remaining of the 4500.

    • Click on the start menu
    • Right click on computer
    • Select manage in the list
    • Click Device Manager in the list of questions on the left side of the window that opens
    • Click the view at the top of the menu, and then select Show hidden devices
    • Remove all references to the 4500 in the list of devices

After making sure of the device is gone, I recommend bike devices in the power circuit: router, computer and printer.

    * Make sure the printer has a valid IP address after switching back on and is connected to the same network as your PC before adding the printer.

If the IP address and SSID are good for the printer, then try to add the printer with the printer software, you have installed.

    • Click on the Start Menu
    • Click on all programs
    • Open the HP folder
    • Open the folder for the series of the Officejet 4500 G510
    • Select Add a device option

Let me know how it goes,

    Jason

  • Question - Error Message - OfficeJet 4500 OSX 10.9.3 - HP Office G510g scanning

"Scanner reported an error - an error occurred during communication with the scanner.

I have search the internet looking for a solution and tried * several * suggestions. Were unable to analyze for a few months and I'm hopeful that you have the miracle cure. Sometimes, I connect on the side Mac and sometimes I reboot and log on the side (on my Mac) PC with Windows 7. It happens with two operating systems - the OfficeJet 4500 will not scan. I use Image Capture on the Mac partition. I use the scanning utility when using my Mac as a PC with Windows 7 HP. A couple of months, I have spent many hours (literally) with a HP technician (a couple of them!) and we couldn't do anything else than give an error message. New drivers do not help. Can you suggest something else? Thank you.

Update! Shortly after this announcement (such as minutes), I saw an announcement on how to reset the scanner bar and that was the problem! I am now and scan and grateful for the greasy68 of the display. Feels so good to have my scanner back! Life is good.

  • I need to install my hp officejet 4500 without disc

I need to install my hp officejet 4500 without disc

Hello everyone, welcome to the Forums

I noticed this thread for you all in need of the drivers for your Officejet 4500 and I want to help!

There are three models of the Officejet 4500 so I would include the driver for each other information in order to cover all the. Below I will give you links to download the drivers and software for your model of JO 4500.

step 1: Determine which model of 4500 JO you. Click here to help you find the model number:

How can I find my model number?

    Here are 3 different models:

step 2: Click on your model to download and install the driver and software. You will need to choose your operating system, then click on 'Next' and then you choose 'Pilot' and download:

    1. HP Officejet 4500 all-in-One Printer - G510g drivers

    2. HP Officejet 4500 all-in-One printer - G510a drivers

    3. HP Officejet 4500 Wireless all-in-One Printer - G510n drivers

I really hope this helps you with your driver and software installations!

    All the best,

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510a

I downloaded the last software package on the site of HP for Windows 8 for the OfficeJet 4500. I ran the software and I can print successfully. However, the solution Center says that the installation was not complete. When I try to add a device, I am invited to connect the printer to the computer via a USB cable. I'm doing this, but the following button is never enabled. At this stage, I can only put an end to the installation via the Task Manager.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

By comparing the printer that you said that you have, the G510a does, it allows to print wireless, the software could not find the printer, I think I found the problem.

The G510a isn't a printer wireless, or Ethernet, it is only USB. The software that you use is correct if you install the G510a, but it will not be installed with the other printers of the series.

I would like to you, uninstall the installed printer software for the G510a. Once that is done, install using the Printer Wizard.

Printer Installation Wizard will locate your Officejet via its network connection, go online and download the correct software.

    I hope this works.
