  Did someone knows what's the difference between these two reviews? Since just reading about it. It seems that the review of the Scyber is more generalized content security and 640-554 is more in depth? I don't know how to compare these, someone has some comments about them?

  Two reviews have different themes as outlines by the plans:

  • CCNA security
  • CYBER

  I would also say that CYBERSPACE is more widespread and the CCNA Security is more on the implementation (although my CCNA security exam has already a few years; I did the CYBER review in June).

  For the decision that is to be taken:

  • The CCNA Security should be the basis for every other security certification. You are also going to CCNP security later.
  • The CYBER is a specialization, that almost nobody needs and nobody knows. Although the knowledge you gained in preparing for this review is very valuable, I always would consider it a knowledge 'Add-on' that you should go for when you already finished other certifications such as CCNA Security and/or CCNP security.

  I can install DMS - 5.2.0.25 in UCS-C24-M3?

  because, after that I have insert the CD and start. I got a warning message.

  This material is not supported.  DMM & SNS can be installed on some servers UCS.  In particular the UCS-C220-M3, UCS C210 M2 or UCS-C200-M1.  However, they get even more specific than that.  You can't just buy a UCS-C210 M2 and install DMM or SNS, only some serial numbers are supported, which means that you MUST buy the DMM-C220 part number.

  Also, I'm not sure but I think DMM v5.2 could be installed only on the boxes of MCS, so if that's the case then ALL UCS box would be useless for this version.

• Console C90 & TC

  Hi all

  I recently acquired a C90, who comes from a T3.  It is currently running TC6.  I can't connect Console of TC.  I would be able to?

  I am getting an error, something unrecognized product ID.  Any ideas?

  This is the correct behavior for the TC Console software.  The codec PID must match a certain predefined list to allow the TC Console to connect.  The C90, you very probably has a PID of "TANDBERG T3 Centre" or something similar instead of 'Codec C90' or ' C90 Integrator Codec.

  At least you can get Cisco to re - PID your C90 you are out of luck

• 2.5 x camera mount?

  I see the following in the user guide, however I HAV several SX20 camera mounts and I see no way of installing this camera on them.  I would say that my SX20 camera mounts are a bit older, we're going their when the SX20s started shipping, so unless they have changed with the release of 2.5 x camera...

• VCS VM Factory Reset

  Hey all,.

  We bought a bunch of VM VCSes for our lab.  I just create an and configured for a test in my lab.  I got all turned on and loaded license keys.  Once I did the test, I went to do a factory reset to get it to default to the next person, however the Reset fails on the search for the default image.  How can I fix?  Also do a factory reset change S/N?

  Hi Justin,

  in order to reduce the size of the VCS VM. EGGS, the VCS VM file does not come with a factory installed default reset image.

  To do a factory reset on VM VCS, you should SCP a standard image software for VCS to VM, to/mnt/harddisk/factory-reset folder and save the image of the software as ' tandberg - image.tar.gz ', as is the file name which reset script will search.

  You could for example download X7.2 VCS of Cisco.com, rename this file to "tandberg - image.tar.gz ' and download it to the" / mnt/disk hard/factory-reset "on your VM VCS and you should be good to go"

• TC7 Bug upgrade

  Hey all,.

  There seems to be a bug with some improvements TC7.  I upgraded a C40 & EX90 were the two TC6.3 running with keys to unlocking TC6 TC7 valid I lost the following in the web interface.

  • Experimental section is missing
    • Which means that I can not remove the error message 8 Tough wrong on my C40 which has no touchscreen
  • Release key field is missing maintenance-> upgrade to the software section

  Experimental has been removed from the web gui, but you can stil CLI it if you wish.  If you know the name of the field, you are looking for, you can just type the search button in the GUI and it will show again.

  If you switch to TC7, RK are not mandatory for the upgrades more spent TC6.2 I think, if you have a key for TC6 +, you should be good for other upgrades, but confirm.

  Hey all,.

  OK, install a new TMS v14.1.1 Windows 2008 Server, joining the AD setup / domain accounts to the TMS.  I have my Windows 7 PC on the same domain.  When I connect to MSD he asks a user name & pass yet.  What I am doing wrong?  The CCC JAVA encourage also pop too.

  In the options of IE, I think its on the content tab and if you click Custom settings for the intranet, you should get a few options. If you scroll down it is a scenery for authentication and you can set "auto login using your current credentials". That this setting is set on?

  Im not sure if FF supports the automatc like that connection.

• TMS & WebEx integration

  All,

  I'm trying to help out our MSDS/WebEx for the integration of telepresence and I'm stuck.

  When I go to "administrative tools > Configuration > WebEx Settings'"

  Then I add our site, which is enabled for the integration of telepresence, I get "Login failed."

  "Could not connect to the site. WebEx error code: SystemError. »

  I did the capture of packets, but don't see anything worthy with the exception of the SSL/TLS negotiation.  I can provide the capture if necessary.

  My bad, did you fill an A2Q for deployment of tis? Without the A2Q Webex is not configurable on MSDS.

  It will be better if you open a TAC case, they can check the side so Webex.

• Question of lighttpd after upgrade TC6

  All,

  Does anyone else have problems with lighttpd after upgrade to TC6?  I had a client yesterday upgrade to TC6 and after the upgrade they could access is no longer the codec via HTTP or HTTPS.  After further investigation, I found that the service of lighttpd was not working and when I tried to start it I'd get an SSL error.  In addition, I found that the default certificate that comes with the codec was named 'migration.pem' instead of 'selfsigned.pem '.

  I managed to solve the problem by deleting the "migration.pem" cert, then I started the lighttpd service that auto generated a new cert called 'selfsigned.pem' in the correct folder, now they can access through HTTP, the codec again.

  What is a bug by accident or just a single thing?

  What version of the SNMP protocol use the TMS between endpoints & infrastructure products?  Is there a way to force the TMS to use v3 and disable v1 & v2?

  Nope, TMS does SNMP v.2. It is unlikely that we never introduce in favour of v.3.

• TMS & conductor error

  All,

  If you him schedule a conference with the driver on MSDS, I try to add an external connection participating via H323 and I get the following error:

  "No possible route the conductor of 1.1.1.1.

  If we change the dial on the SIP protocol and use the same IP address, it works very well.

  What and where is head of Orchestra/TMS checking when trying to add this participant?

  Hi Justin,

  TMS deliberately rejects H.323 scheduling direct dial-out mode of a conductor, as we can not guarantee that the driver is able to call them. There are no plans to change the behavior, but you can as always drop a feture request via your account manager.

• Generation of password EP

  All,

  I must be missing something, I 'Activate password generation' turned on for the installation of PE separate (2), but every time I create an account password field is always empty.  I see this in two installs completely different.

  You write "create an account". I expect similar to the legacy behavior

  Configuration of the TMS Agent, where the passwords are only self created on an AD import.

  Generation of manual account = installation manual password.

  I would try to get them to use AD to import accounts and also handling via AD & VCS password.
