I'm fixed reconciliation file but I get an error related to the date format. I tried format as on 20 March 2009, 02-02-2010, 20 Mar 2009, 2010-01-01, 2010/01/01

can anyone suggest me please what format I need to use.

If you use the connector of CWG? then put the same format that you put in "Source Date Format" YYYY/mm/dd date for example (it can be any format).

If you do not use the GTC connector then you will need to convert you date format default Date Format of IOM, you will find in the tab of the system configuration in the console of the design.

    We try to load Plan data for 12 months to an Essbase ASO using FDMEE database.

    We followed the documented specification stage in the format of import for amount (column = < start >, < end >) AND choosing the "multi-period Text file (contiguous period)' in the data load the rule.

    However, the Validation fails even for period dimension he complained of "value without Source for UD3".  {The UD3 in our case is be the period}

    You don't have to specify which version you're on.

    When you set the size of the target Application you set period of your ASO [size target class] cube dimension as period?

    Try and that should remove it from the map area of import Format.

    I work in Navision Financials Oracle E-Business Suite (11i).

    I would like to implement a concurrent program that queries the database and output the results in a text file that I will ftp to an ftp server.

    I would like to be able to do this by a pakcgae of PL/SQL, I do this with a PL/SQL package? How do I need to pass the query results? i.e. should I CHOOSE IN whatever it is, open a ref_cursor or put the results in a log or something that needs to be passed to the application? Or should I be queue info somewhere?

    I could make it more difficult to do, but I just need someone to help me through the steps if possible - it would be greatly appreciated as I'm a bit stuck and need to do this quite quickly.

    You can use utl_file for the creation of a file.
    The valid path lies in the parameter $ v where name like '% utl % '.

    The steps would be
    (1) create a unix call and your package shell script using fnd_request.submit_request
    (2) in your package, use utl_file and ftp the file to another server

  • Is a database table that is required for the temporary interfaces with the data flat file source?

    People, this is the situation I ODI 11.1.1.7

    1. I have an interface temporary (yellow), called MJ_TEMP_INT, which uses data from TWO sets of data from the source in a temporary target (TEMP_TARG). Wrestling is a shot of a data set from a table while the other set of data extracted from a flat file.  A union is made on data sets.
    2. I then create another interface, called MJ_INT, which uses the MJ_TEMP_INT as the source and the target is a real database. table called "REAL_TARGET".

    Two questions:

    1. When I run my second interface (MJ_INT), I get a message "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" because it is looking for a real TEMP_TARG db table. Why I have to have one? because I am pulling a flat file?
    2. On my second interface (MJ_INT) when I look at the interface of my source MJ_TEMP_INT (yellow) property sheet, the box 'Use the temporary interface as a Derived table' is DISABLED.  Why? Is also because my temporary interface is pulling from a flat file?

    I am attaching a file that shows a screenshot of my studio ODI.

    Furthermore, IF my temporary source interface has only a single set of data by pulling from a database. Table to table in a temporary target, called MJ_TEMP2_TARG, and then when I use this temporary interface as a source to the other another real db. target table (REAL2_TARGET), THEN everything works.  ODI requires me to have a real database. Table MJ_TEMP2_TARG and the checkbox for "interface temporary use as a Derived table" is NOT DISABLED and my REAL2_TARGET table gets filled.

    You quite rightly assume the reasons that you have questions is because you try to attach a file. A file I always have to be materialized in the transit zone, as a temporary table and then have the data loaded in it.

    Are there ways to export related employees data in a flat file without using a client (PeopleCode or Integration Broker) application, it's simply generate a CSV of power of the UI?

    You can schedule a query and specify the output text format. Note that when you select View Log/Trace in the process monitor, you will see a file with a .csv extension. However, it opens by default in Excel, and even if you select Save instead of open, he will try to change the .xls extension. You will need to return to .csv.

    I'm trying to convert a simple 2D array of U8 (3 channels) data in a matlab file format.  I was manipulate the examples in the labview2matlabni record - but I can't read in Matlab - the matrix is not readable - said inconsistent number of columns.

    I have a request I want to acquire analog input data with NI USB DAQ 6352; to 50 ksamples/second sampling rate, with 8 channels of analog input NI USB DAQ 6352 and I need to display these data on a chart and at the same time I have to back up this data in a file for future recording and analysis.

    My questions are: 1. what file format would be more effective and more appropriate for this application? text or xlsx.

    2. which preferred delivery system to choose?  the category of execution.

    3. what priority should be set? normal or time critical.

  • File format: transparency and color data separately reading

    I have a problem of reading data through my plugin file format.

    I can read the different layers in the format in color Lab (8-bit) mode.

    There is a transparency mask of the layer (1 byte for each pixel), which is stored just before the image data in the file.

    Currently, I have tried 2 approaches:

    1.

    -TransparencyPlane set of 3

    -LoPlane set, hiPlane to 3

    -ColBytes set 1

    -Value rowBytes to the width of the image

    -Set the data in a buffer with the size of the width of the image

    -read the line of the transparency mask

    -> advanceState gives error (-30500)

    2.

    -transparency mask read in its entirety (I know, bad idea)

    -TransparencyPlane set of 3

    -Set loPlane = 0, hiPlane = 3

    -ColBytes set of 4

    -The value rowBytes image width * 4

    -Set the data in a buffer with the size of the image width * 4

    -read line in a temp file. buffer

    -copy of temp values. buffer and the transparency of each pixel in the data buffer

    -> advanceState ok but not correct image ks in PS

    I think there must be another, better way to apply the transparency mask.

  • Trying to export essbase data to flat file

    Hi I'm on v9.3,

    When I export essbase data to flat file, ESSBASE is export data in a row rather than in different lines even if I use (DataExportColFormat ON ;)

    You must have a dimension of column heading, it recovers the default period, column header cannot be a dense dimension and is defined using

    DataExportColHeader 'DenseDimenionName ';

  • The loading table Microsoft Sql serer flat file problem data

    Hi Experts,

    I am trying to load the data from the SQL Server table to the flat file but its errror on.

    I selected the staging of different shape area Targert (I use SQL Server as my sleeping area)
    Knowlegde modue used: IKM SQL to the file Append

    I have the following error reciee
    ODI-1217: Session table to file (124001) fails with return code 7000.
    ODI-1226: step table to file fails after 1 attempt.
    ODI-1240: flow of file fails during an operation of integration. This flow of charge table test target.
    ODI-1227: task table to file (integration) fails on the source of connection MICROSOFT_SQL_SERVER POS_XSTORE.
    Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: could not read file header lines
    to com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.file.FileResultSet. < init > (FileResultSet.java:164)

    Hello

    Have you made sure that the CSV file is readable by ODI? What I usually do is to create a CSV file example target with values in it. Once you create the model, right-click and view the data.
