• dawn of war 2 and directx 10

  I discovered that the dawn of war was runing in directx 9 so I moved it to 10 using the essence.ini, now when I try to run the game it says

  Cannot find a device of supported hardware rendering. enshure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the dawn of war 2. Verify that Directx is installed correctly and that you have the latest drivers for your system

  I have a nvidia 9600 with 3 GB ram and vista 64-bit. I want to know if theres a way to run it in directx 10

  I just duplicated your error by making the change in mygames/dawn of war 2/settings/local.ini.  I don't know why they read it like that, but check around on google, it does not control whether or not the game is in directx 10 mode. I you have the options to use Ultra setting in the game settings so you are in directx10 mode already. I have this option available and active with the screendevice = DirectX9 rendering device setting in local.ini

• Dawn of War 2 does not work with DirectX10

  Dawn of War 2 does not currently work with directx 10. I checked the settings file and it says it works with dx9 and when I try to change it it says that it cannot find a compatible graphics card.

• Windows 7 crashing in games

  Hello I am having periodic crashes. In some games KR. Left4Dead or Pro Cycling Manager crash manifest as a screen lock, only able to restart the machine. In the Empire Total War, the game crashes, but Windows 7 is able to recover and can close the program. This is why I have this error code.

  It is very likely that the game requires more resources than your ipad a. I have an iPad 2 and it has a tolerance for graphics applications much lower than my mini 4 (somewhat obvious account bound to the difference between the processor and ram)

  Unfortunately, the game can be too much for your iPad.

  You can try to force it to close all apps you don't use of free resources as much as possible for your game. Double-click the home button and scan all unnecessary applications off the screen to close. then simple tap on the home page to exit this mode. Also, I restarted my iPad and iPod older on a daily basis. Press the sleep and home for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver Apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.

  I have a two years Acer Aspire 4755 G with win 7 32 bits as a BONE.  Recently, when I played games I've played without problem before the crash of the games after 1 to 5 min. of use.  I updated the nvidia driver 305.46 drivers, but the problem persists.  Heat doesn't seem to be a problem when it crashes.  I used a temerature gauge and it works at normal tempuratures throughout the game.  So my question is anyone has the Acer Aspire 4755 G and that set up make you use of game.  Which nvidia drivers are you using?

  Pizal, it has more than one possible explanation.

  The most likely cause is overheating, but you have checked that. Still, I would like to download the free program of CoreTemp to check that your fan is all right.

  It is possible that you have another software program which is which collide with your games. Download the free Win Patrol program to see what is running in the background.

  It is possible that an update of Windows trying to get, and it's too much for your machine to manage. Try to check the updates of Windows in the control panel and see if anything got stuck. If Yes, try to install manually with all your games off the power.

  And my standard advice: run a scan in depth with your antivirus program.
