    Hello

I recently bought a 10th G40 and I was wondering how to set up dual Tv Tuner in Windows media Center to watch and record the Tv at the same time.
I tried to download the new driver from the Toshiba download page, but it seems to make no difference that Media Center does not give me the ability to configure 2 tuners.

    Any help would be grateful

    Hello

    Found this useful Microsoft page:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/products/windowsvista/footnotes.mspx

Take a look at the chapter * M *-> on MCE

    You can find this info:
+ Reading and TV recording features require a USB TV tuner or external. Supports up to two TV tuners +.

So in my opinion, you cannot record TV and watch another channel at the same time using only the internal TV tuner.

  • Problem of PX1256E-1TVH TV hybrid USB tuner with windows 7

I have a problem with my USB hybrid TV tuner PX1256E-1TVH in windows 7. I installed the latest drivers (for win vista), and my computer properly recognize my device (TV tuner device). But when I run TV savvy, it does not recognize the device.

Do you know if there is a solution?

    Best regards.

I have the same camera. Last few days, I tried to get it under Win7 but no luck. WXP and Vista works well, but I can't find the driver for Vista even more.

The last time I had the pilot of Vista by Lite-On support page but the driver page is somehow low now.
Maybe we need something new that works better, especially with the new Win7.

  • Qosmio G50 - cannot install the FM Tuner in Windows Vista Media Center?

Can someone help me get the most out of Windows Vista media center with my new Qosmio G50.

There is a tuner inside this laptop and I have the antenna and its plugged in. The drivers all seem to be installed but WMC tells me that I don't have the hardware to run FM stations and I can't make it work. Also, I can't record library but although I can't watch TV no problem at all.

Someone out there have the answer?

    Hello

Are you sure that your equipped G50 FM tuner to 100%?

As I know a few models of G50 has been equipped with a tuner TV with antenna TV port that allows to connect a coaxial cable to this port to watch a TV program and then save.
But as I said earlier, this feature is not included with all models of G50.

Sorry, but I didn't find any info regarding the FM tuner.

  • Qosmio F50-125 - how to use the TV - FM Tuner in Windows 7

    Hello

I use Qosmio F50-125 and I've just upgraded to Windows 7.
Earlier, I discovered that I have a TV tuner on my laptop and I don't know how to use it.

First of all, I don't have drivers for my TV tuner and tried to download something like v.2.3.3.31 driver TV tuner on the toshiba site, but it is not a typical setup.exe but only some files inside.

If you could tell me a little more about how to use my TV option and how to install the correct drivers, I would be really grateful.

    Thanks in advance!

After you have extracted the files you get the folder with other files
I assume these are files required by FM tuner driver.

Now you need to go to Device Manager, must mark the FM tuner (possibly unknown device if the driver is missing) a duty to install/update the driver.
In your case, use the Advanced Setup.
This allows to point to the files extracted.

  • How can I use the FM tuner in Windows Media Center?

    Hello world.

    New on the thread.
Found this site looking for answers to a problem I have. ?:|

I received my Toshiba Satellite computer as a Christmas gift. I noticed that it is a cool FM tuner.

I've also been playing with Windows Media Center.
However, I can't understand how to operate the tuner inside the WMC FM...?

I added the NXP FM tuner program to the "extras" on WMC, but instead to open the tuner inside the WMC, it just opens the separate program.

Anyone know how I can use the FM tuner (or another maybe?) inside the WMC?

    Thank you! :)

    Hello

I have no experience with this because my Satellite doesn't have an FM Tuner but nice talk on it you will find under

If you find the final solution, it will be nice if you can describe an own experience with it. It may be useful to other people here.

    Bye and good luck!

  • How can I copy music from I-Tunes to Windows media player.

I understand that you can not download directly from I-Tunes music to a droid.

I have a lot of songs in my I-Tunes library, but want to copy everything on my windows media player, so that I can then sync them with my Droid.

I tried to open both my I-Tunes and a medical reading windows window and then tried to drag and drop each (a tedious taks for all my songs) song in the media player window, but he wouldn't.  Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

    How can I accomplish this?

What is the file type (or types) of your music files?

In WMP, press F3 to display add it to the library, make sure that the Advanced Options are displayed, add the folder that contains your music iTunes to the list and click OK. The songs that are in a format which WMP recognises, will then be added to the library.

I have a HP m8034n pc with a tuner Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1600 NTSC/ATSC Combo.  The pc came with Vista and Windows media center worked great just with the tv tuner.  I upgraded to Windows 7, December 2 and fail to put in place my tv with WMC tuner.  The recorded shows that I had before the upgrade to Windows 7 appear and play without problem in WMC. I used the hardware diagnostic tool that is installed on my pc to control the Tuner, and during the test, I can see fine TV stations.  This unit is compatible according to microsoft Windows 7. I have the latest driver and tried to uninstall and reinstall. I ran Windows Update and everything is up-to-date. After that WMC checks tuners, it says:

When I click Yes, set up TV with these results,-(for the analog option Cable(1 tuner), I select my cable service is, and then click Next.) It then displays a confirmation of analog cable and my cable provider, I click Next again and the error message "installation TV met with a serious problem. Click Finish to exit, and then try again. If this problem persists, restart Windows Media Center or the computer. "appears.

I even tried to set up the signal manually and on the confirmation screen, I click Next, and get the exact same error.

I would really appreciate any help and if more details are required, please let me know.  Thank you!

I don't know what happened, I left my PC off overnight and planned reformatting today. But I decided to give him another chance. Instead of saying the tuner was not available. He showed me a static snow image strong, as he was trying to use my Analogue tuner. In fact, it is supposed to use the composite input for my cable box. I re set my TV signals, and now everything works well again. Its strange because I reboot half a dozen times last night and it's never worked. Leaving the PC turned off for the night must have done the trick, I guess.

  • Tuner TV Windows 7 Media Center

I had, but are not now, have a TV Signal. I went through the task to configure my TV signal. It says all channels, signal, etc. have been uploaded successfully, but when I return to the TV and try to load a program into the Guide, he says that I don't have a signal. Why?

If you live in America, most of the most air TV signals went to "digital".  You must ensure that the TV tuner can successfully use the digital ATSC signals.

    • The "iTunes" folder resides on a locked disk or you do not write to this folder permissions.

If so hold down the SHIFT key when you launch iTunes and keep now until this requested to choose or create a library. Click Choose and browse to your library database file, normally stored in C:\Users\\Music\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl.

  • Windows Media Center has suddenly stopped being able to see tuners. Error "could not find the tuner or all tuners are busy."

Original title: Windows Media Center has suddenly stopped being able to see tuners.

I am running Windows Media Center and have a 6 Ceton infinitv tuner connected to my network.  Since a few weeks things have worked very well.  Now suddenly after installing a faster wifi adapter, I get messages such as unable to find tuner or all tuners are busy... who don't feel like I can always go to the tuner by Explorer or chrome, by typing the address of it and it arises but also shows that it is set on the channels that I am no longer watching.  Any ideas on why WMC is suddenly acting when the only thing I did was install an a6200 netgear adapter, nothing has changed.

  • "Tuner is not available" error message Windows Media Center with HD HomeRun Prime

Running the tuner HD HomeRun Prime with Time-Warner tuning adapter.  Scan is not the tuner.  No problem with Device Manager.  For all drivers are current.  I have that once had access.  Then and only then, I had to access via HD HomeRun Prime and NOT of WMC.  No matter what I do, no tuners are found.  Adequate signal IS present.

    3. the similar issue was also addressed in the two threads below.

If your computer has installed TV tuner hardware, follow these steps to resolve the error messages so Media Center can use the tuner driver. After each step,Open Media Center and try to view or to set up live TV. Continue following the steps until the error no longer appears and you can watch TV:
    1. If you use a cable of the card and the computer resumes from a standby or standby mode, wait at least 20 seconds before starting any software that uses the tuner, including Windows Media Center.
    2. restart the computer to Resync to Media Center driver:
    a. Click Start.
    b. click on the arrow in the toolbar and then click on restart.
    c. wait that Windows and all startup items load before you open Windows Media Center.
    3. If you have added a new tuner card, make sure that the tuner card is compatible with Windows 7 Premium or Ultimate. Search for certified for Windows 7 on the product packaging or consult the following website to check the compatibility:
Microsoft support: Windows 7 Hardware Compatibility List (in English)
    4. change the Windows Media Center Receiver Service specific to a Local System account account name:
    a. click Start , and then type Administrative Tools in the start search box. Click on administrative tools in the search results.
    b. double-click on Services .
    c.
scroll to the bottom of the list of Services and find Windows Media Center Receiver Service . You may need to expand the name column by dragging the right side of the column heading.
    d. right-click on Windows Media Center Receiver Service and then click Properties.
    e.
click the Connection tab , and then select the Local System account .
    f. click apply and then click OK in the message Services.
    g. restart the computer.
    h. click OK again and restart the computer.

  • TouchSmart 520 TV tuner stopped working

I have a 1190EA Touchsmart 520. I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows and now the TV tuner stopped working. I've already used Windows Media Center to watch TV. I ran install MCE and windows MCE is unable to find all channels. My TV card is an Avermedia A859.

I tried everything to fix the problem without success. I suspect that the card is is most recognized in the PC and have tried to find a driver windows 7 or 8 for the card A859. I was not able to locate a driver from the sites, including the Avermedia and HP. The only thing I could find is on the HP site where there is a patch TV card 'channel search fix' for Windows 7. I tried running it, but it returns a "HP not compatitibility" error message during the installation.

I also tried to install other programs of TV tuner (no windows MCE) to see if these would work. These don't work and I think that they are not detect any signal. Yet once this leads me to think that the TV card needs a driver.

If anyone can help here it would be really appreciated.

    Hey X 1199,.

Tuner TV being not able to find any signal / channels, since the upgrade to Windows 8.1. After checking the HP Software and Driver download page, it takes up to 8 windows are supported. I've included the document 'what happens if I do not see my operating system?'. He will inform you of the various options you have.

Now since you have tried to get the drivers from the manufacturer and 3 third-party sites and are still unable to get the job of TV tuner. You have options, restore your computer to the previous version. Or wait for the pilots to become available. I've included the document "performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system."

    Kind regards.
