  The AT & T OTA update for the marshmallow has not completed on my phone.  I let it run for about 2 hours and then a message appeared that I intrepretated like done, but it was not installed.

  The phone seems to work fine with 5.1.1 always active.

• How to make a bound place update if the linked file is updated?

  I build pages of Wedding Album using PS CC in 2015. I am editing the individual files resulting in a layered tif file. If I then place the layers of the tif files in a new PS document I use linked place because it saves hard drive space and I thought that it would update when I change the master made.

  I noticed that if I change the original tif it looks not to the composite master gets this update.

  It seems to work very well to insert an edited LR .nef dynamic object. If I edit the document and update the thumbnail of LR by hitting Ctrl (Cmd) S.

  One thing I noticed though, is that there should be an option to embed the connected in the Panel properties of the PSD master... I have a feeling that the lack of this option is connected to why the image is not updated. Unfortunately, I do not know why the option is not there!

  Can you try to save your tif as a psd instead, then re-edit the link to this new file and gone through the motions?

  A friend asked me to change something in an indesign file. He sent me the file, but not images and all the links where broken. No problem, I just edit text som. I did this and referred the case back (I know that is not the way to work with indesign). He checked and was convinced and sent to print. But there was a problem with one of the images. Initially, he had an image on a different hard drive and I happened to have an image with the same file name in my temporary folder and this image was treated as not broken but only updated. I have not noticed this and I had not changed anything other than text then why should it be saved? It shouldn't be a problem when he got the return file because he must see that there is a broken link or Indesign should update this on its own. Well, he just happened to have another file with the same name in his file and Indesign just picked up this file instead, he pointed out as an updated link, but he comes to accept this and the end result is an error.

  I know that this scenario is a bit stupid but I was wondering if it is possible to open a file and to force it to register only what I really change and ignore broken links?

  Go to the your preference of ID files management section and uncheck find the missing links and Check links before Opeing Document.

  Once you have done this, however, you're on your own to check that the links in the links panel manually then all THE files you are open.

  I read on another forum that if a web site links to a file on 30 different pages, for example, and a user has changed the name of this file, so rather than go through each web page and refresh it to link to the new name of the file, DW could automatically update pages to link the file name again. Is this true? It is possible on DW MX 2004? Currently, when I change a file name in a web page, DW shows the image as a gray with a black X square on it, until I have the point DW to the new name of the file.

  I've recently updated the OS on my bold 9900.  After that it's over, my BBM were all destroyed.  Many of the applications had to be restarted (Protect, Tracker BB Phone, etc.).  Many applications data disappeared (locations on Google maps), the data of the city on the subway, etc.  Not a major, but very annoying problem.  Updates should not destroy all data on any place on the device.  One having this problem?

  OS updates have always wiped data in applications.

  With respect to the BBM, you lose conversations, but your contacts should still be there. I recommend doing local backups of your BBM contacts, however, using the BBM options.

  Launch the Desktop software, then the Applications section. You should have a list of apps... those without checkmarks are not installed... check those you want and apply the changes.

  I went to the old post on this forum, but it is not completely answered my question. I've also been using InDesign with no luck.

  I could have sworn that, while trying to modify the work (an external file to Photoshop) thanks to InDesign and updated, I didn't have to keep save the Photoshop file before to update InDesign... actually, I don't remember having to do anything and InDesign would automatically update. But I forgot how I did that. I don't want to have to keep economy as I do a lot of changes. Now, the update option is grayed out in the palette and the top menu.

• Firefox beta 9, coming continuous update window, click on update, but it nevers connects to the server, the link 'click here for more information' is dead.

  I go about Firefox and click on the updates button control the browser downloads the update, I restart Firefox and behind the browser window is a window that says: it is strongly recommended that update Firefox. It is also a link to get more information about this update. The link is not responding, so I click on 'Next' and connect to the server and it never connects. I let it run all night and it connects. I get this window even after that I updated to Firefox. How can I do that, go away? Is this a legitimate Update window or something try to redirect to a malicious site?

  If there are problems with the implementation at day then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version and remove the Firefox program folder to remove all remaining files.

  After my Windows 10 updated all the links, when I'm looking for something in the address bar, are bright yellow, making it unreadable. I don't have any theme or Add ons to this and before the update links were just black and visible.

  Have you tried Mode safe?

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
