DC of Acrobat installed but printer PDF missing in Outlook 2010.

I just installed Acrobat Pro DC, System WIn10. The PDF printer did not appear in my Outlook 2010. I tried to repair the installation of Acrobat - not helped. How to manually install the Acrobat PDF printer? Thank you

It was displayed in the list of printers in Word, Excel, but not Outlook. However, I tried to re - install a second time, and fixed it. Mystery, but thanks MVP.

  • The Acrobat DC 2015 Ribbon is missing in Outlook 2010

I see a lot of hits for missing problems with Acrobat Ribbon in Outlook, and from what I can tell it seems to have been a problem for some time.  However, I was not able to find a solution.  One I found did not work for me.  Has anyone else encountered this problem.

I am running on a workstation Win7, running Outlook 2010 with Acrobat Professional from 2015 DC.  Oddly enough, the Ribbon works with the Standard version.  I tried regsvr32, install via supplements and it doesn't work.  However, Excel, PowerPoint show the Ribbon Acrobat on top, but not Outlook.

    Please advise...

    NICOS,

It turns out that there was a problem with the *.mst file that was used to install DC 2015.  The option to include plug-in software component PDF in Outlook was not selected.  Once I made the change and loaded the new *.mst file, the function has been successfully installed.

    Thank you for your help.

  • How to install the printer PDF for Acrobat 9 Pro on my MacBook Pro with Yosemite?

Hello. I recently had to have the hard drive on my mac pro erased book and I had to reinstall CS4. After that, I'm more able to use acrobat 9 pro. Whenever I try to open the program it says there are missing components and there's just frozen. I have to force quit to exit the program. More recently he told me that the PDF printer is missing. How can I solve this problem?

    Hi Erin Gabrielle,

I understand your concern that Acrobat 9 previously worked for you, but since it is not compatible with Yosemite it might work or might not work and give rise to any type of question.

Acrobat Pro DC is fully compatible with Mac Yosemite. You can also try the trial of DC Adobe Acrobat which is fully functional for 30 days. Link to download the trial free trial download Adobe Acrobat | Acrobat Pro DC

  • Acrobat Pro XI print PDF of .xps (Microsoft print xps document) - FINAL PDF No. OCR - TEXT NON REPERABLE?

    Platform: Windows 10 desktop

    Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

Problem: Convert Microsoft .xps documents to PDF documents that can use the tools in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI - Impossible to add comments, highlight, underline or OCR (searchable text) - final PDF of the XPS document?

Tried several methods of XPS conversion in PDF format: (1) (2) Adobe PDF printer print to native PDF in Windows 10 (3) Microsoft XPS Document Writer, Microsoft (4) send to OneNote 16 - no pdf is functional as a result of all these conversion options.

. XPS gives no option to save as Adobe PDF despite having Adobe Acrobat Pro XI installed on the same platform.

Cannot print adobe acrobat Full functional file and/or can not save...!

Other current discussions in Adobe and Microsoft Community-not to update environments, suggests savings of XPS in MS one Note, and then the conversion to PDF. But unable to convert 33 MS One Note-Office 2016 pages, together a document a key and save all 33 pages in format pdf. I can't save the 33 pages to OneNote 2016 in a single PDF file.

Please recommend a method to take one. XPS file and make a fully functional pdf, not just view the document in pdf format but use in ADOBE ACROBAT PRO XI.

I tried all the itineraries offered on various sites and spent several hours me looking for answers but have failed to identify an effective practice a single click, or a few clicks option. The problem is that some native windows computers have xps printers and then the document cannot be converted for use in Adobe pdf. Wonder if Adobe XI can be saved on a USB key and used to print documents into adobe PDF files to the thumb of computers without PDF reader app?-just a thought (?).

There are a lot of search results in Google and Bing (for an xps to PDF), other 3rd third-party suppliers, but its difficult and challenging to confirm if you can get a PDF from Adobe to address fully functional which can be used with Adobe Acrobat Pro. If Adobe Acrobat XI can do it, I wonder if other 3rd party applications - doubtful in my review, open to suggestions.

So I wasn't looking to download other 3rd party applications to consider doing the same.

    Help, please.

    Thank you!

Apparently you aren't aware that you can easily create a PDF to an XPS file by simply opening the XPS file in Acrobat, or create a PDF file function. The XPS file is converted into a fully functional PDF file. It works not only in the latest version of Acrobat, but in the last several versions as well.

And as Aandi Winston said, no, you can't share a copy of Acrobat on a USB key.

  • Acrobat DC cannot print PDF files

I have a customer having problems with printing PDF files.  They have Acrobat DC Standard and can open any PDF fine, however when you try to print nothing happens.  Acrobat does not even send the print job to the printer.  We have tested on several printers, and the problem is the same.

I have ensured that all the accurate and up-to-date printer drivers are installed

Acrobat Standard DC is updated to 10/02/16

The printer can print other jobs by other software (Word, Notepad, etc.) without problems

PDF files will print if I open them in Adobe READER and print from here. It is only in Acrobat DC they won't print.

I found many other messages from the forum on the same or similar topics and the best answer I found is the workaround mentioned printing from Adobe Reader.  Most mentions that it is a problem that adobe has had for some time (the most useful forum topic dated back to may 2014), but nobody has an answer on what the problem is caused by, and what it solved for good. only workarounds.

Is there a solution to this problem that I can apply and have the product works as expected for my client?

    Hi all

Today we released a hotfix that resolves the Mac printing issue that was recently introduced (with May 10 release). If you're not already updated to the latest patch, simply open Acrobat and visit help > check for updates to apply this hotfix.

More details about this release and bug fixes is available here: help Acrobat | Release notes | DC Acrobat, Acrobat Reader DC | Update

Please give it a try and let us know.

  • Acrobat DC Pro - print pdf problem

I use a trial version of DC Pro on Win 10 - when I print from what for the converter of pdf from adobe on com1 I get an error on the printer but the PDF is still produced.  However, the print queue still contains the document with an error that I have to delete manually to stop other error messages.  I can print additional documents, but every tinme he creates another entry in the impression that all errors and all must be deleted manually.  Seems to be a problem similar to one, I met with Acrobat X, which has been finally fixed.  Any ideas how to solve this?  Thank you

Thanks - had to do the last option of uninstall, cleaned the registry and manually removed all references file Acrobat & then used your link to the software.  This fixed the printing problem, BUT I cannot now get tabbed browsing - followed the checkpoints for updates & reboot but the option does not always appear in preferences/general.  I have also tried repair, and who does not either.  Version 2015.6.30121 running.  All very frustrating and not the type of trial that would persuade me to make a purchase!

  • Printer shows an error but printed pdf

    Hi all!

I have a very annoying problem with my Adobe Acrobat Standard.

When I print a pdf document, I have the pdf I wanted but the printer down to the right corner of the screen does not go away.

It is said that there is a single document, which has yet to be printed. And if I open the printer dialog box it means: error - printing and the symbol on the screen does not go away until I have cancel the print job.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. And because it was so boring, I put my entire windows system.

After that, the printer worked for two weeks without errors.

But now, it's the same problem as before. And I'm getting really crazy.

How can I fix this problem without setting up the entire system again?

The problem is that I can not only uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat, because it is a part of the software of my laptop and so I have no CD of it.

The problem appeared in the Version 8.1.4. I have already updated to 8.1.5 but this made no change.

I hope you can help me.

Sounds like the question now "bog" standard printer Adobe PDF uses one port other than "* My-Documents *.»»» PDF' or ' * Desktop-*.» PDF»

    Watched several times.

You did not say if you use XP or Vista to verify appropriate locations based on your operating system for the following:

Look for your Adobe PDF printer in "Printers and faxes" section of the control panel.

Check the properties of the printer, specifically the port it uses. (On XP right click on Printer Ports tab, select Properties, Adobe PDF).

If she's not my Documents or desktop (one of them must be verified) it's your problem.

If you DO see these two ports in option, check one of them and then select 'OK' and you are G2G.

If you don't see either of these two options, the ports have not been created during installation (you leave until the ports have been created as part of a mess up in the MSI install routine), then you must first close all dialog boxes, open Acrobat and select Repair on the Help menu.

I hope that the fixed, but if your printer ports are not set after making a repair, you may need to do a little more work.

  • Adobe Acrobat installed but does not appear in the list of plugins

I need to have Acrobat reader for some of my work files, but for some reason when I load the web page that is using the drive it I get a gray screen that says 'a plugin is required to view this content. Of course, the plugin is Adobe Reader, I already installed. The web page works fine when I open it in IE, so I know that the drive is installed and working. When I go to About: Plugins Adobe isn't in the list.

I have looked everywhere and tried everything I can find, but nothing works.

You are right. I completely forgot that I was running Waterfox. I closed and open Firefox and the plugin Adobe is there and it works.

I will look to Waterfox support to see if there is a solution for this issue.

My most humble apologies to all who tried to help.

  • OfficeJet 6500 new black cartridge installed, but print Brown (all colors) instead

    Hello

I replaced the black cartridge in my OfficeJet 6500, and clicking on it.  (I triple checked it.)  However, when I try to print a document that is supposed to be any black ink, it prints in a Brown shade as if it is mix inks instead of using black-colored.   I printed a diagnostic page, cleaned and alignment of the heads of print and even restarted the computer and the printer.  Nothing helps!  I am still at work and I have documents that need to be printed!

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you!

What operating system do you have?  For Windows 7, you would go to start, devices and Printerss, right-click on the Officejet 6500 and then select Printing Preferences.  You can change the setting 'document Type' in the tab 'Features', then click on apply.

The above will change the default value.  You can also change the print to a particular print job by selecting the print properties when you go to print.

  • How can you save a .docx word attachment in a .pdf file in Outlook 2010

I receive many emails I have attachments in word .doc or .docx format.  I want to be able to "save under" a PDF WITHOUT having to open the document, and to go through all this rigamarole.  There must be a way to "save under" a PDF somewhere in this program...

Please note that I don't want to save the E-MAIL message as a pdf.   I want to save the attachment, which is a word doc to a pdf file without having to open it!   Tab file, save as saves ONLY the message and not the attachment in pdf format.

    Thank you!

You must manually convert the files if they are not in the right format, or tell people who send allows them to use PDF.

The fastest way I can think of is to print documents using the enabling Adobe PDF writer.
