Dc7800 compatibility memory

Hi I have a DC7800 SFF and I am planing on improving memory to its Max 8 G.

I want to know if this memory would be sustained:

G.SKILL 8 GB (4 x 2 GB) 240-pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Quad Kit desktop memory model F2-6400CL5Q-8GBPQ

I'm confused because some website says only DC7800 UDIMM support...

Could you point me in the right direction?

Thank you

Hello:

I put this G.Skill memory in my dc7800 CMT.

2 of these 4 GB kits.

    Hi all!

I want to add some memory to my laptop and try a couple that works, but I get a few bugs because this seems to be related to the fact that I put pc5300 memory rather than pc4200 memory... The strange thing is that it works very well and only bugs when reading music and flash movies!

  • compatibility Memory Stick A99

I was not able to use Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo in my a99 without receiving an error message.

The media I am using is Sony Memory Stick Duo PRO-HG / HX 16 GB

When I insert the card, try to shoot or replay, I get the following message. "This memory card is perhaps not able to record and play normally." Slot 1 "

Now when it appears, I am able to get inside simply by pressing the shutter button or the play button. But it's very annoying.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I came to the conclusion that the sticks of memory are defective. My w has a Cybershot pocket camera. I installed the card in its cybershot and received the same error message.

To answer your question, SD cards work fine. I think I'll stick with SD cards in the future...

I want to improve my memory from 4 GB to 8GB maximally... My question is the Ram DDR3 works on my laptop... I have conflicting reports both Yes and no.

    Hello

I believe you have DDR2 Ram in your laptop, but you can check it out by downloading and running the utility on the link below.

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_cpuz/

If this utility verifies that you have DDR2 Ram installed, then you can not install DDR3 - it will not physically.

  • Compatibility memory Office Pavilion

A Pavilion m9400z desktop computer will accept ea 2 DDR2 PC 6400 2 of 4 GB memory cards, or I have to go with 4 boards of 2 GB?

    Hello

Use four DIMMs of 2 GB and make sure that they match in specifications to avoid problems. You can see the plug from motherboard and memory here.

Go to Kingston, Corsair , or critical and use the memory configuration tool to find the correct DIMMs.  Then, followed by a call to support technical or commercial to make sure that you have the correct DIMM selected.

Going past 4 GB will mean you need a 64-bit operating system to take advantage of the memory.

  • Compatibility memory

I have a dell xps 8700 (end 2013) with 8 GB of memory and I want to double to 16gigs and I wonder if the memory that I choose to purchase would work with the existing ram is one I chose Savage of Kingston HyperX 8 GB Kit (2 x 4 GB) 2133 MHz DDR3 Non - ECC DIMM XMP HyperX Savage (HX321C11SRK2/8) CL11, if it is does not work with the existing memory can I replace it with this one

Do not know this specific RAM, but many people here by her to Crucial.com for Dell computers. If Crucial recommend for a specific system, they ensure that market or they take it back.

The fastest RAM Crucial shows for the 8700 XPS is 1866 MHz. This does not mean 2133 MHz don't work (depends on the BIOS and chipset limitations), but if you mix different speeds of RAM, it will operate at the speed of the slowest RAM installed. So if you now have 1600 MHz RAM, new arrivals can also run at 1600 MHz if you mix again to the former.

You can also search these forums to see if other users have installed this RAM Kingston in the XPS 8700.

  • Compatibility memory with Satellite U300-11V

    Will be 2x2gb DDR2 PC2-6400 800 mhz SO-DIMM nergjivani my Satellite U300-11V?

    Hello

According to this site, you can use the DDR2 667 MHz (PC2-5300) 200 - PIN SODIMM barrettes.
    http://www.orcalogic.co.UK/ASP/ProdType.asp?ProdType=31981&ft=m&St=3

As far as I know there is only one difference between the PC2-5300 and module PC2-6400.
    Support of the PC2 - 5300 667 MHz and 800 Mhz PC2-6400.
The U300 comes with 667 Mhz modules. If a module supports 667 Mhz and 800 Mhz on media other then the two modules will run at 667 Mhz.
So if you want to use modules with full speed 800 mhz, then both modules must be 800 mhz.

by the way; as I m not wrong supports FSB 800 mhz too

  • Memory ECC on 3.1 Mac Pro compatibility

Hi guys, I have a feeling that I already know the answer, but I have a question of compatibility memory re: my Mac Pro 2008 of 3.1.

    Specifications are:

    CPU - 2 x 2.8 Quad

    MEM - 8 GB (4 x 2 GB) DDR2 800 MHz

Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 MB

Boot disk - 240 GB SSD.

    Today, I bought a Mac Pro (2 x Dual 2.66) 2007 with 16 GB of ram, but it's ram DDR2 at 667 MHz.
I bought it mainly for the memory, but it is slower than my memory...

So, I have the following questions:

    1. I guess I can't use both the 667 and 800 in a computer memory sticks?

    2 - my MP (3.1 2008) would perform better with 8GB 800 MHz or 16GB 667 MHz?

Is there a noticeable difference in performance based on the speed of the memory?

    3. is there a recommended application to test the memory and cpu as well? I'd like also to know if my CPU is "in good health".

It would make the evaluation tests of memory?

    Thanks in advance

Hello, here is a link to a discussion on Macrumors mix different speed RAM on the 3.1, it's from 2013

but it must be relevant to this day. May be useful to some of your questions.

    http://forums.MacRumors.com/threads/800MHZ-and-667Mhz-RAM-not-compatible-Mac-Pro - 3 - 1.1653183.

You have gray original install disks for the 3.1, if you have the second drive should be the HardwareTest of the Apple.

Once in the optical Bay restart by pressing the command + D keys, I think it tells you about the disc, it should start after

a little time and then you will be able to run the tests.

For optimal compatibility, memory modules should all be the same density (512 MB / 1 GB) and from the same manufacturer... Which assure the chips on the module are identical.  It is strongly recommended that you buy only the modules that are guaranteed compatible. Brands like Kingston, Crucial, OCZ and Corsair come with this guarantee. No name brands may or may not work with your PC. Go on line on the site of manufacturers of memory and know what part number is guaranteed to work with your PC. Corsair Kingston CrucialOCZ

    Hello

I really apreciate if someone having a Tecra M9 (S5515X or S5513X), check the memory resources in the control panel. And inform me which appear on the Device Manager.

Please, go to control panel / system / hardware / device manager
Menu display / resources by type / memory.

    Appearing something like this

    [000 A 0000 - 000BFFFF]-...
    [000 A 0000 - 000BFFFF]-...
    [000CC000 - 000CFFFF]-...
    [000DC000 - 000DFFFF]-...

I need the description of memory occupancy for the Bank 000D 0000 to 000DFFFF.

I need this information to verify the compatibility with my card PCMCIA for Siemens, which can only work if the 000Dxxxxx of the Bank of memory is not used for another device. I need to check this allow to purchase the Tecra M9.

    Best regards

    Heitor.

    Hello

I can't provide you with any information on memory usage because I am not owner Tecra M9. But I found on the internet of information on the card slot PC of Tecra M9.

The Type II 5mm PC card slot can accommodate unique Type II 16-bit or 32-bit (CardBus) PC cards.
So if your Siemens card is compatible with the specifications of this material I see no reason why he shouldn't? t works with the laptop Tecra M9.

    Hello

It s better not to mix memory modules. In particular, if you have two different manufacturers and two different schedules. Not good.
It is better to have two memory similar modules, due to compatibility issues.

  • Memory Stick PRO DUO SanDisk 32GB - compatibility PSP

    Hello

    Just a quick question.

SanDisk PRO DUO 32 GB cards work on a PSP 3000?

Some customers asked about the compatibility and possible reading errors if you use a 32 GB pro duo card in a PSP 3000 console.

According to SanDisk compatibility tool PSP is compatible with all nine USB2.0 cards! :

    http://PCT1.SanDisk.com/ProductList.aspx?DeviceID=1506

I have checked the points and support for Sony PSP and wrote "the PSPgo / PSP system is compatible with any media slot of capacity, as long as he wears the logo of the Memory Stick "

Any owner of a SanDisk 32 GB USB2.0 new in a PSP 3000 can confirm please?

Of course the official response from SanDisk will be appreciated ;-)

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, it can use 32 GB cards
