Compatibility memory Office Pavilion

A Pavilion m9400z desktop computer will accept ea 2 DDR2 PC 6400 2 of 4 GB memory cards, or I have to go with 4 boards of 2 GB?

Hello

Use four DIMMs of 2 GB and make sure that they match in specifications to avoid problems. You can see the plug from motherboard and memory here.

Go to Kingston, Corsair , or critical and use the memory configuration tool to find the correct DIMMs.  Then, followed by a call to support technical or commercial to make sure that you have the correct DIMM selected.

Going past 4 GB will mean you need a 64-bit operating system to take advantage of the memory.

    1. your HP computer uses Jasmine-R motherboard (MSI MS-7778) with six 6 internal SATA 6 Gb/s ports. beautiful card mother AMD, many SATA ports. GOOD to GO.

    3. IF you want to add a second drive, in this case a 2.5 "Solid - State Drive (SSD), I see three 3 potential location.

(A.) mounted horizontally, with support of the adapter in the box below the DVD/CD drive.

    (B) vertically, mounted on the Panel lower front of the computer case.
A 3.5 "to 2.5" adapter support can facilitate this fixation or the player first itself (using the 4 holes tapped on bottom of SSD) IF the perforations (ventilation, fan, hard drive carrier) line up properly.

(C.) mounted horizontally on the botton (floor) of the case. Location does not fit all applications.
The San disk Extreme Pro SSD, I bought in 2014, has been mounting spacer/vibration rubber that could allow this type of editing with a contact adhesive. This montage approach is not appropriate in all cases.

Selling manufacturers SSD Kits and readers Raw (desktop, laptop)- so working with your store of the local computer for sale retail (££ or €) for a proper selection.

    4. REVIEW the available power cables (SATA style) for their ability to reach these 3 mounting locations.

  • How do you install memory in Pavilion 17z-F200 (part L2H13AV)

How do you install memory in Pavilion 17z-F200 (part L2H13AV)?

HP seems to have no guide available for this model maintenance. What is happening with this?

I took one the Pavilion 17z-F100 (sent by mistake). There not all removable panels on the underside. And the User Guide for 17z-F200 indicates that it will be the same (assuming that ever happens).

I'll probably have to remove the outer shell together to install the memory (or replace the hard drive, when the time comes). But, any laptop I worked on in the past had its own special place for screws hidden or something special to that of disassembly. So having an interview guide is a necessity to prevent the pests from plastic, clips, guides, mounts etc..

  • Office Pavilion p6610f HP says: use SATA0 or 1, but HD is in Port 11 should I go back and change?

HP Desktop Pavilion p6610f 64bits just installed new refurbished Hard Drive No. OS and yet I followed all the steps in the tutorial of HP, but one thing I didn't notice at first was that HP is said to use the smaller ports numbered disc hard SATA Seagate SATA HD shows that it is in the drive of 1st in the BIOS and when I checked for the SATA port There was just the USB ports, I assumed they were the same, but the only ports connected on 11 were the mouse and the keyboard on the 6 & 7 and a mass on the 11 port storage device (that is the hard drive?)  If it's the hard drive, do I go back and unplug something and put it in the USB port 0 and port 1? I had so many problems with the computer from another installed a faulty? hard drive, after the failure of the original, and I just wanted to be sure I did well, and it would be so good sail once I install my Diska recovery and follow other steps suggested by hP.  I guess I'll let it start and see what happens. (I'm on a right of the laptop next to my office right now)  It said to restart with the appropriate boot device.  I guess I should put in the first disc of recovery means turn the computer off then turn it back on again.

My hard drive installation was a success and now, after installation program recovery discs and 100's of updates Windows and updates of the HP driver, everything seems to work very well.  The hard drive is intalled in port 1 and there is no noise as if it was with the previous replacement hard drive.  But things are still running much slower than they were before the crash.   I disabled elements start and removed many unnecessary programs and don't have not download all of my old library backup files in order to preserve the memory. I will buy and install several memory cards, a mink, update the BIOS Hardware Diagnostic test and hope that somewhere along the line, I will not solve the problem.  I consider this case closed and I thank all those who have posted to give me a helping hand.  Taylor

  • HP Pavilion Slimeline 400-224: upgrade memory on Pavilion Slimline 400-224

I want to upgrade the memory of my HP pavilion slimline 400-224.  After opening the case, how do I determine how many memory locations is available?  The current Council of the memory is SK Hynix 4 G 1Rx8 PC3L 12800 S-11-13 - B4.   It seems to be another location, just underneath and take-away.

Can you tell me if this machine has one or two slots for memory...  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Here are thespecifications of your machine. It allows two modules of 8 GB.  You said 4 GB installed.  Which would jive with your Visual (only 1 modules installed). If it was mine, I would opt for a corresponding module of 4 GB and do with it.

HP PartSurfer does not list the SK Hynix 4 G 1Rx8 PC3L 12800 S-11-13 - B4.  Another curious point, the specs list 6 GB installed. It would be a 4 GB and 2 GB modules.

  • HP Pavilion 500 - 200 t: card memory HP Pavilion 500-200 t and upgrade information

I'm about to take my 10 GB of RAM RAM 16 GB of RAM and 500-200 t has only two slots for memory card. When I replace (2 x 8 GB cards) I have two 5 GB cards flying over. I need to know the exact left specifications more cards? I want to put the card in my Dell XPS 8500 4slot who has already 2 x 4 GB cards in there. And the specifications on Dell cards are cards of DDR3 1600 MHz. Can someone tell me the specs on the HP 500-200 t maps?

Please see the specifications of the product HP Pavilion 500-200 t and configurable Options page for the information you request. Based on the specifications, the factory in your computer memory should be 10 GB (1 x 2 GB, 1 x 8 GB) DDR3 PC3-12800. The speed is DDR3 - 1600 MHz. The size is a guess based on your statement "I'll have two 5 GB cards flying." Memory is available in sizes based on the binary progression... example... 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, etc. There is no such thing as a 5-GB card.

As to put in your Dell... it may or may not work depending on the latency and/or refresh, or if it is dual channel.

Deb, AGP is a newer technology and is considerably faster than the PCI ports.  So I suggest an AGP video card.  Now, that being said, I am not sure how well the computer will run with an HDTV because HP supports only 1 GB of system memory.  Additionally, make sure that the power supply unit (PSU) has enough power to run the card you choose correctly.  You can check the wattage in opening the case and by reading the label on the power supply.  The minimum power requirements should be available on the manufacturer's website.

    1. Turn off all the devices connected to the computer. Unplug the power cord from the computer to the power source (power or power adapter).
    2. Remove the cover from the computer.
    3. Find the battery on the Board.
    4. With a medium flat head screwdriver, gently release the battery from its connector. Note the direction of the "+" and "-" on the battery.
    5. Leave the battery for 10-15 minutes, the CMOS to lose the settings.
    6. Replace the battery in the connector, guide the "+" and "-" correctly.
    7. Replace the computer cover.
    8. Re-turning on the system.

  • HP Pavilion 15-e073ea: updated memory HP Pavilion 15

    Hello everyone.
I own a HP Pavilion 15-e073ea laptop and I would like to purchase additional RAM. The memory I installed is now Kingston HP16D3LS1KBG / 4G.
As I can't find this memory in any store in my country, I would like to know what other get memory I have installed?
I found two similar RAM modules in my local store and they are:
    (1) Kingston 4 GB [1600 MHz DDR3 Non - ECC SODIMM 1.35 CL11 V (http://www.komputronik.eu/product/223410/Electronics/PC_parts/Kingston_4GB_1600MHz_DDR3_Non_ECC_CL11... ]
    (2) Kingston 4 GB [1600 MHz DDR3 Non - ECC SODIMM SRx 8 (http://www.komputronik.eu/product/187564/Electronics/PC_parts/Kingston_4GB_1600MHz_DDR3_Non_ECC_CL11... CL11

Is there a significant difference between these models? Should I buy on these, or perhaps others?
I realized my memory wrote 1Rx8 on it if that makes sense.

    Best regards, Lucas

    That's what you have now:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Kingston-PC3L-12800S-11-11-B3-HP16D3LS1KBG-4G-laptop/DP/B00N6WKI3S

The important thing here is that it is of high density (4 black blocks) and low voltage (1.35 volts) 1600 mhz

The first link you gave says the memory can run at 1.35 or 1.5 volts, which is true for all memory low voltage, but it does not work the other way around. 1.5 volt memory can run at 1.35 volts.

It seems therefore that the first memory that you have linked will work, but I can't be sure on the second; It does not specify the voltage. I would avoid it.

I wanted to add another 4 GB module because it is not that expensive but I looked at the link above and it does not say that it suport 8 GB.

Anyone know if I can add another 4 GB module for a total of 8 GB?

    Thank you

    Hello:

Simple card for your PC page is misleading in that it shows it comes standard with 4 GB of memory and goes on to say that it is expandable to 4 GB of memory.

I would interpret who just like you... Max is 4 GB, but I think they meant you can install another chip of 4 GB.

In any case, this is confirmed looking at your service on page 3 manual, where it provides memory configurations.

    8 GB is certainly supported.
