DDR Max per slot allowed for type T30 2366?

One of my two RAM slots of my older T30 burned, if I want to install a 1 GB of memory in the remaining slot. Is this allowed? I found contraversing arguments in the web. What type of exact RAM is allowed (for the time being, I have two 512 MB DDR333 Cl2.5)
Thank you

In addition, in the support page "HP Desktop PCs - the upgrade memory (RAM)" (generic - non-specific to any model) (http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-HPE-h8-Desktop-PC-series/5258496/model/5261720/docum, under "Verification of the quantity of memory can be added to your computer model", it says "to find the amount of memory per slot, divide the maximum amount of memory that the computer can hold by the number of memory locations of the motherboard. When I check the options of 'Memory' on www.crucial .com, the only 16 GB option it gives is 8GBx2.  Can I do trust what is Crucial says about it (which seems to contradict what the HP options & specifications page)?  I think that the answer is Yes - that HP doesn't care. and options page is just saying how it would come if I had ordered with maxed out at 16 GB RAM - but thought I would ask before ordering memory.

Thank you for responding to this.

I dug a little further on the Crucial site, and it seems that the 8GBx2 actually works:

And here's the review of one of the examiners:

The reason, I was a little skeptical about what the HP standard sheet said for the computer I had before this one, HP said a certain maximum size of RAM (below what the operating system should be able to manage).  There was a post on the HP forums who said you could use the larger RAM size (until the operating system can manage) in this model computer.  I tried and it worked fine.

    Hello

I have a problem with my L300-1BW. Recently, I replaced my memory and upgrated to RAM 2x2gb.
As I replace my Celeron T1600 1.6 Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 my Toshi proc get so much that I consider myself as RAM upgrade even more.

We might find that L300-1BW plug here:
    http://www.Toshiba.co.UK/discontinued-products/satellite-L300-1BW/

And it says: "maximum extension: 4 096 MB.

I was wondering if it means limiting 4-GB PER SLOT? OR TOTAL?

I'm stuck, cause I typed "dmidecode t memory" on my OS of mint and stated as follows:

    Memory controller information «»
    Error detection method: no
    The capacity for error correction:
    None
    Supported Interleave: one-way Interleave

    It's 8GB maximum. is true?
Want to be 100% sure, as only 4GB DDR2 SO - DIMM module is quite expensive.

  • M3910 i3 540 3.07 GHz Tower RAM upgrade possible? -Maximum RAM per slot for my model?

    Hello

I ' v has my M3910 i3 540 3.07 GHz for awhile now and I'm very happy with it as a day to day PC, but for some time I get regular crashes and intend to reinstall Windows 7 from scratch. I would like a little more speed so will install SSD and more RAM (3 GB for the moment), but the specs on the RAM available on the web are confusing. I got a 8 GB compatible key available, but it froze the Acer splash screen. I want 16 GB (called max) but settle for 8GB.

Is the limit of RAM per slot 2GB, as argued in the specifications, or I can get 4 GB in each of the 4 slots? Crucial is indicating it takes 1600 RAM, but the specifications say 1333? FYI, my serial number starts: [under the direction of privacy]

  • Why the NDP module says "you are not allowed for this operation?"

    Hello world

I hope you can help me with this problem!

I'm playing with the NDP module has a message saying 'you are not allowed for this operation.

This happens when I try to create a new project and try to open the window to select a project type. It also happens when I go to the ADMIN and add new types of projects?

Is there a role limiting me or does some other underlying problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

I think that you might miss an active project type category.

Go to Admin-> NDP-> categories of project types.

You must have at least one category that is active (which is indicated by a green check mark).

Once at least one is activated, you will need to go to the Cache and rinse the taxonomy of cache (just to be sure, I would empty Admin Data Cache Group as well).

Then you can go to the Admin and configure your project types.

Let me know if you have any questions,

  • This computer is no longer allowed for the applications installed on your iPhone

I tried to sync my iPhone 6 more with iTunes in my MacBook Pro.  During this process, a window popped up that says, "this computer is no longer allowed for the applications that are installed on the iPhone" iPhone 6 more "." You want to allow this computer to items purchased from the iTunes Store? »

I clicked on allow and another window popped up that says, "Enter Apple ID and password.  If you have an Apple ID and password. Enter them here. "(If you use the iTunes Store or iCloud, for example, you have an Apple ID.)  "You can authorize up to 5 computers for each Apple ID."

Apple has recently replaced the logic board on my MacBookPro (early 2011).

There are 3 iCloud Apple ID.  First of all, I allowed my MacBook Pro.  Then he asks the password of the Apple ID for my iPhone 4.  While I was still with my iPhone 4, there was a problem and Apple technology had me install a new Apple ID.    Then I was asked for passwords for the Apple ID for iPhone iPad Air and 6 more.  Then another pop-up window says, "the authorization of the computer succeeded."  "You have allowed 5 computers on your 5 available."

This could be 5 'computers' if Apple still has the original map of the logic.  It is always 1 MacBook Pro, which has a new logic board and if I called the Apple Support, I guess the UUID hardware is Apple going to buy and I did that for this new logic board, but not for the old.  I would have thought when the old logic board has been subscribed by technology, he or she would have known in order to erase the original UUID for my MacBook Pro in the main Apple system and replaced it with the new.  BTW, the old logic board works great.  It was the video card that was bad and my computer has a problem to wake from sleep or boot.  Everything worked very well when I took it for repair, so technology might have gotten the UUID of the old logic board.  Since I'm not a computer tech, I'm probably missing something.  I don't understand why I had to do it all.

So, how can I get this problem fixed then the old logic board is not counted?

    Thanks in advance!

Note: where it is said to 'Select a category', 'importing & Burning in iTunes', was the closest I could come to picking a category.  If I posted this in the wrong place, please move to the community right and made me know.  Thank you!

    You need not do anything.

If, in the future, you need a permit for a new computer, then just reauthorize all, then allow all of your active computers.

  • Can I allow an application for one person on my family share but does not allow for each other?

Can I allow an application for one person on my family share but does not allow for each other?

You can't delegate who has access and who doesn't have access to the applications. You can lock devices with age restrictions, so only items appropriate age are at their disposal. Or you can hide your list purchases. The purchased app can then be displayed when you want to share with someone else, then be hidden again once the application is downloaded on their device.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello dinukago,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

Since your post I understand that you get an error that your computer is not authorized for items purchased on your iPhone.  As you tried to allow already and know that your computer is allowed, then it seems that you have the content of another Apple ID on your iPhone.  If you have any other Apple ID then please allow your computer so that it be synchronized.

    Allow your computer in iTunes

    Take care.

  • the iPhone couldn't be synchronized because this computer is no longer allowed for items purchased on this iphone

I know there are several solutions for this problem, I spent weeks trying different options but not solved my problem.

Here is my scenario, I have a Mac Pro and my iTunes folder was on another internal HARD drive, I used Yosemite, I picked it up and then clean up El Capitan, then I launched iTunes and linked to my old iTunes library, so far, everything is OK and I can see my music, videos and applications, then I connected my iPhone 6 and backed up to my system up to what we want to do the sync and that when the context menu is displayed with the following error message:

the iPhone couldn't be synchronized because this computer is no longer allowed for items purchased on this iPhone

I followed various solutions such as:

Meet a disconnection on iTunes in my iPhone to my computer, the connection of my account in iTunes, and restart the system and iPhone, then from iTunes and reAuthorizing my computer, and then try to sync and I always get the same error above.

It's really frustrating, because I even created a new library to see if that would help and it has not yet.

I've only used an Apple ID account, I never bought any music or application to another user.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've only used an Apple ID account, I never bought any music or application to another user.

This message refers to the items purchased on the iPhone.  The following synchronized on your old Mac, who has apparently been authorized for purchased items.  Your old Mac was authorized from your ID Apple and another Apple ID (someone else)?  If so, perhaps there is something on the iPhone that was purchased with this other Apple ID.

In all cases, what are the options given with this error message?  If an option is to eliminate items that are "is no longer allow", let iTunes do it.  If you have never purchased items with another Apple ID, you have lost nothing.

  • Hard disk - storage space Maximum allowed for Pavilion G7 2233 cl

    Hello world

Long time lurker, first time here poster.  This forum helped me a lot when I removed Windows 8 and Windows 7 Professional installed for helping me find the right drivers for everything.  So thank you all for this.

in any case, on my question...

I'm modding my HP Pavillion G7 2233 portable cl.  I added a 512 GB SSD Crucial MX100, but I saw somewhere that someone who has exactly the same laptop replaced the DVD optical drive with a caddy to hold a second hard drive.  I want to add a second hard drive to use as media storage space, documents, video, photos, etc.  He will see a lot of movement between the download, delete, etc..  I didn't want my SSD doing so wear out prematurely.  I already bought a caddy for that.

My question is what is the spaced maximum storage allowed for the Pavilion G7 2233 cl?  I couldn't find the info on the BIOS to tell us what it is.

I have Windows 7 Professional installed (came pre-installed with Windows 8, but has been removed because it caused so many problems).

Happiness is not around the corner... it's IN the corner

1 TB is now the 'bigger' standard hard drive for your laptop (2 TB or 3 TB for desktop computers). There are bigger drives for laptops out there, but assistive technology that storage in a small space is still fairly new. Especially with new laptops, there is not a limit, in itself, the size of the hard drive, you can install.
