  I need to know if my PC Compaq Presario C700 CTO Notebook is running in RAID or AHCI mode because of problems with a driver Intel Matrix Storage Manager (IMSM).  The Read Me text file in the menu start > all programs > intel Matrix Storage Manager folder said if my system works in RAID or AHCI mode determines if my computer needs this driver.

  Problem with the Intel IMSM driver.

  Hello:

  First of all your needs from laptop to have the hardware (CPU and chipset) Intel to run the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

  Your C700 CTO may have either hardware Intel or an AMD/Nvidia chipset so I can't tell you what your laptop has.

  You can tell however, and you can tell what mode of the controller to your PC is currently running (AHCI or RAID).

  If you have PC, go into the Device Manager and if you have a category of an ATA/ATAPI IDE controller based on an Intel processor, click to expand that and if your laptop is running in AHCI mode, the controller will have the AHCI word in the description of the controller.

  If your mobile phone is set to RAID (which I doubt), scroll down further on the Device Manager list, and there would be a category of storage controllers if the command is set to RAID.

  Click to expand, and you would see a description of disk with the word inside RAID controller.

  Hi all.

  I had a problem with this laptop for the last four weeks.

  One day worked, it normally stops and the next day when I power the screen was dead.

  The fan stands up and lights, caps and numlock function, but not picture.

  There are also 3 days ago, I noticed that if the screen is tilted I can actually see the Toshiba logo at boot and then a few icons on windows 8.

  For what I found online that this laptop doesn't have a UPS because she is LED which requires current DC which is quite a new thing on laptops, I think.

  One thing which I use to to check if there was any kind of output image has been to connect the laptop to the tv, but for some reason, that no picture is via vga or hdmi port.

  That being said I'm reluctant about the fault being the monitor. One thing I'm positive, I can certainly see very dark and with the monitor image tilted slightly.

  Someone had a same or similar problem?

  I ve never been faced with this problem on my Toshi and cannot say for sure what the problem is here, but my opinion is that you should contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.

  Here's the scoop... First of ALL, the phone requires a SIM card if AT & T/Cingular! Does not need to interact with the SIM at all, just have to be able to access all the menus!

  The menu structure: different graphical if menu or based on a list, to get to settings. If the graphic base, press Menu then to the right, down, select.   Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your Compaq Presario C700 CTO notebook and get a white or black screen at startup. Try perform a reset. When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices and remove cards memory card reader location. Disconnect all non-essential devices. If this does not help try to use this document to computer does not start.

  Hi I recently bought a new (supposedly) Sansa Clip + 4 GB MP3 player. I chill out and everything, I read the quick start guide and continue to charge via USB. It has been detected OK, I even rename the unit and start syncing with WMP. So far so good, I thought, but when I looked at the screen is blank, no message, no loading icon, nothing.
