  This means that you cannot synchronize a folder that youv'e ' e defined as import for the videos location.

  So, if you put videos to import in c:\videos

  You cannot synchronize this folder.

  (Since then, you would just be sync through the stuff on the phone that you have imported the phone).

  Change your import file should solve the problem.

  I followed the process of uploading a file for xp called "tetherxp" from t-mobile. Connect the phone, follow the steps to guide Wizard to the folder "tetherxp" and then says cannot find the software. I moved the entire file to see if Assistant would. I even let the Wizard search the net and nothing comes up.  I have xp sp3 and I think as a 32-bit process. I tried to rename the file to all kinds of possibilities, but nothing works. the phone works as a network access point wi - fi but cannot get USB attached. t mobile, says it should work with just the config. file (tetherxp). they think that it is perhaps a computer problem. any ideas?

  Yes its possible to reset without entering the Menu Options on your phone:

  1. you must have BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your PC.

  2. connect the phone with open Desktop Manager.

  3. go to the Applications tab

  4 locate the rogue app/theme, kill it and your phone should come back with the default theme.

  5. If you can not find via Desktop Manager then try to do a full backup.

  6 restore the phone to factory settings, restore data selectively.

  Hope this works for you, if it's not then you need to use BBSAK to wipe the phone or try to remove the new theme.

  I'm new to the boards, so please bear with me as I just read and hoping to learn the * rules *! I have a curve BB8310 and this morning I had to have ATT restore it to factory after that something was wrong with the DeviceManager. To make a long story short, I'm all good now (i.e.. The right DM, I had the wrong version ) and I got my backup phone like I do every week. So I restored everything and first of all, I can't find my * note * icon anywhere and I use it all the time for lists and these, second I have this blue oval icon where I get notifications of text / email, which has something in it that looks like a snowflake! This icon could result to have my email and notifications of texts put to separate? Can someone tell me what it is and where I could find my Memo icon? I looked in every folder I have (or at least I think I have) as my stuff, settings, options, etc and he left with a whole list of things in it. I also only an icon that is hidden and it is ATT browser as I have Google maps instead. It's driving me crazy! Thanks everyonein advance

  On your BlackBerry, go to Options > status > press Menu > database sizes.

  Scroll to memos... What number is there (as 45/84 KB)?

  If there is nothing else that 0/0 KB, that means that the memos app on your devcie to keep looking... Is I have to be there.

  If 0, then back to the drawing board to charge memos... Make sure that operating system is loaded on your PC, open Desktop Manager > Loader application and memos is checked to install on your device.

  If you use a 32 bit Vista copy then any upgrade must be run from the Vista desktop.
