default screen of Windows 8

I have a desktop PC with Windows 8.  When I us as an application of Windows 7, google chrome and default permission in Windows 7 screen.  I want her to be default to the screen of Windows 8.

All you need to do is press the Win Key to return to the desktop after you close an app, it won't automatically. There may be third party 3 programs to help you do this, but it's the behavior of Windows 8.

Here is a video to show you 3 ways to return to the Windows 8 start screen:

  • Black screen of Windows RESUME Loader

    I use Windows Vista on a laptop Everex NC1510.  When I try to start it I get a black screen titled "Windows resume Loader.  When I said "Continued with the summary of the system" and press the Enter key to select this option, nothing happens.  The computer continues to be stuck on this screen.  I bought a new computer, but it's out of warranty.  I have misplaced the Windows restore disc (in fact I don't ever remember have one).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Here is the info on the recovery media, as you say that you do not have a Vista disc.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • change the position of the image user on the session screen in windows 7

    I want to replace the image of user on the login screen and also resize. Is this possible?

    Michalis salvation,

    Unfortunately, you cannot change the position of photo of user profile on logon screen. This function is by default design on Windows 7.

  • Impossible to change lock Image screen in Windows 8

    I can't change the lock screen in Windows 8. I don't have the Pro version, so I can't use the gpedit.msc command. I have the registry key, but it does allow me to delete or change the (default) value to other users. I ran the scan and there is no problem. Strangely if I restart the computer the image I want to appear, but if I turn it off and then on the default image rest. Any suggestions

    You can change the lock screen connected to the individual user accounts?

    Appears to the lock screen looking for cheap space needle default appears when all users are listed in the connection... which occurs when a user logs off, even if you change the group to a universal lock screen policy by default.

    Wonder what is the story behind the lock screen?  Whence it of... someone draw it kid?

  • Can anyone tell how I can configure the desktop as the default screen that appears when I connect to Win 8?

    Original title: Desktop

    Can anyone tell how I can configure the desktop as the default screen that appears when I connect to Win 8 rather than having to go from the first layer redundant 'start-up '.

    In fact, if anyone can tell if there's a free windback to an earlier version of Windows (7) who has not all layers unnecessary and icons, I would be really grateful

    Your best bet is to switch to 8.1, that allows you to boot directly to the desktop, and then use a menu like debut8 to replace the old Start Menu and hide the side of the metro.

    If your computer comes with Win Pro 8, you may be able to demotion, otherwise, you will need to buy 7. Before you buy 7, I would recommend go to the computer manufacturer's website and see if there are any Windows 7 drivers for your computer. You may lose certain functions - sound, network, video full resolution - if there is no driver.

    The first option is easy and allows you to keep the improvements in performance and safety 8.

  • Not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen on Qosmio G30

    It is not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen! This works only with VGA output. There is no option in the BIOS. According to support, Toshiba will plan any action for this useful feature.

    I use an external TFT with HDMI adapter DVI Cable and I want to have as default screen TFT. With VGA, it will work without problems.
    Any solution?

    Best regards
    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas

    Very interesting question! In my view, HDMI port is to be used with the HD ready LCD TVs or plasma. Combination of connection HDMI and HD DVD movies, you can really have a HD on your TV picture quality.

    As you know the port is a standard VGA port to connect external displays. The image quality is very good and, in my opinion, you should not use HDMI port for the same. Do you perhaps the best image quality?

    I try to open and read some of my old school games, but I am unable to get the screen BACK to run full-screen mode.  I have no idea what to do from here.  I think I'm under the 32-bit version of Vista.

    Hello

    Welcome to Microsoft Windows 7 answers Forum!

    The problem occurs because the Windows device drivers support all video modes BACK running. Windows device drivers are based on the Mode operating system display driver. You must contact the manufacturer of the driver or display adapter to get help.

  • Y at - it an anti virus that goes with my default firewall for windows xp

    Y at - it an anti virus that goes with my default firewall for windows xp? I had microsoft essentials, but it comes with a separate firewall

    Microsoft Security Essentials does not include a firewall, it fits with the (default) Windows Firewall. During installation, Microsoft Security Essentials scans the PC to determine if a firewall is enabled on the PC. If no firewall protection is present, you can turn on the Windows Firewall. See features and benefits-Windows Firewall integration. http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials/product-information

    What do you currently use for antivirus protection? If none came preinstalled on a trial basis? You make sure that you remove any other antimvirus/anitmalware real-time software before installing MSE? Refer to the following:

    List of product anti-malware removal tools
    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/protect/Forum/protect_start/list-of-anti-malware-program-cleanupuninstall/407bf6da-C05D-4546-8788-0aa4c25a1f91

    Checklist for installation of Microsoft Security Essentials

    OR http://experts.Windows.com/w/experts_wiki/89.aspx

    No antivirus/antimalware software will offer 100% protection. MSE is as good, if not better than the other free and paid for the products. It is well suited for older machines to XP because it is light on the use of resources and as stated earlier suits well with the firewall of Windows (default).

    I hope this helps.
