Definition of Member by a build rule properties.

I have a hierarchy where the structure of the product must be updated.

Now, I also need to add three different aggregates for each Member... and make sure you never share some members. (All in good standing building)

Please suggest me some solutions.

TIA,
KRIS.

To set the storage of data, you must set the field column to the property type in the rule file and then the value of the registration for the DTX200 value to 'do not share' will be N
A list of properties are available at:-http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/esb_dbag/dotrules.html#dotrules_2
There is also detailed information about the creation of loading rules

You set the column for the field type of the UDA for Adu

A generation of parents and children example to define a member in 'do not share' and Adu would be

Parent, child, Dtx200, UDA2, UDA1
Prod, ProdA, N, UDAName1, UDAName2

Your rule of load for a build of parent/child would look like

Product Child0 product Property0, UDA0, UDA0, PARENT0, product
Prod ProdA N UDAName1 UDAName2

See you soon

• Reports of the rule properties

We are looking for a way to generate a report that securities specific rules, the evidence of these rules and the source of these rules in a table.

Ideally, we are looking for a way to generate a report for every rule that has the following comlumns:
[Rule ID], [rule name,] [rule Source], [the rule definition], [Custom Property1], [Custom Property2], [rule as shown in rule browser]

I know that a custom property report can display custom properties added to rules, but the properties of the rule of the rule's properties editor and the actual evidence of the rules do not appear in the report.

OPM has a function to generate such a report?

Thank you

There is nothing out-of-the-box in OPM is going to do.

• SQL query to view all build profiles, properties and values.

I am trying to create a SQL query to retrieve all our profiles of construction, their properties and their values. The output should include the build profile name, the name of the property and the property value. I found the following tables and just need to understand the appropriate query. I still think that it is a kind of JOIN.

SELECT [Id]

[EntityID]

[PropertyName]

[Valeurpropriete]

[IsHidden]

[IsRuntime]

[IsEncrypted]

FROM [VCAC_DB]. [dbo]. [GlobalProfileProperties]

SELECT [GlobalProfileID]

[ProfileName]

[Description]

FROM [VCAC_DB]. [dbo]. [GlobalProfiles]

Does that help?

SELECT GlobalProfiles.ProfileName, GlobalProfileProperties.PropertyName, GlobalProfileProperties.PropertyValue

OF GlobalProfiles

INNER JOIN GlobalProfileProperties ON GlobalProfiles.GlobalProfileID = GlobalProfileProperties.EntityID

I also like this because it gives all the details on the individual custom properties in a profile of construction (such as IsHidden, which tells you if the DEM will treat the property):

SELECT GlobalProfiles.ProfileName, GlobalProfileProperties.*

OF GlobalProfiles

INNER JOIN GlobalProfileProperties ON GlobalProfiles.GlobalProfileID = GlobalProfileProperties.EntityID

• How to retrieve only the immediate parent of a member within the business rule

Hi all

I have the code inside a BR where EntParent is a variable
[EntParnt] = @PARENT([RTP_Entity]);

Expectation is to return the immediate Parent of the [RTP_Entity] given that is once again a variable and assign it to the variable [EntParent].

The returned value is not the immediate parent, but the beam from the top of the hierarchy (with the Gen1).

Hierarchy of entities, as below.

Entity
E1
E11
F1R1
E2
E21

All I want to do is the following:
Want to save E11 as EntParent if the RTP_Entity is E111
Want to save E2 as EntParent if the RTP_Entity's E21

Help, please.

I don't have my friend the accessible Tech Ref right now, but @ANCESTORS is not a level parameter, like @DESCANDANTS?

Something like @ANCESTORS (param4, 1)? I could be wrong on this one here, but it seems reasonable.

BTW, have you read the link to my blog? You're practically do what I calll "concentrate of aggregation" - I wonder if you could apply this logic to the dims in the AGG?

• Definition of the ownership through charge Varinace rule

Hello
I built a Dimension build rule to build the dimension of accounts (Parent, child) and also properties such as "Data Stroage" and "variance reporting" and also UDA. The dimension be built perfectly, as well as property 'data Storage' and UDA, but ownership of the Varinace 'reporting' is undefined even if the rule of the load is perfect and also I see the success during the loading message.

I did the Member property Codes and it is given as

E treat as an element of expenditure (applies to dimensions only accounts)

and I use the same.

the generation rule is as follows:

Parent0 accounts, accounts Child0, Alias0, Property0 accounts accounts, accounts UDA0, Property1.

I know that I'm missing something, Veuileez tips.

Thank you
Mugundh

your problem is the final value of the property. It must always be property0 accounts

• Loading 2 alias of a member in a cube ASO by rule in essbase file

Hi all
I have a request from ASO. We are members of dimension using dimension build rule filesto load.
Currently I am only alias default load using reference of parent-child. (Parent0 Child0 alias0)

My problem is that I want to load two aliases. (1.default, 2.Default1). How is that possible?
What should be the structure of my flat file for loading the metadata?

Thanks in advance...

In a rule of load, you describe what table alias must be used. If you want to load more than one alias, then I suggest a format such as

Parent, child, alias aliases1, Alias2

You would have two first rules would ignore alias 2 during construction of the dimension and the second he would ignore Alias 1 load. Each would be the table of the correct alias to load. (ISO the global settings of the Dimension tab build properties dialogue box).

• FDMEE rules - checking does not appear

Hi Experts,

I have set up rules of audit in FDMEE 11.1.2.4 to display key figures after the load of HFM.

But whenever '0' demonstrated for each of the accounts. Even though I have confirmed there are certainly data in the accounts of HFM.

These are accounts of parent (with the exception of a basic account) in HFM, but I put in place of the control entities in order to consolidate the data after the load. So I think that the audit report should be able to show the balances in accounts of parent.

Valruleseq;|,,,,,,100000,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,|

|, TOTLIABEQUITY, |; |, TOTLIABEQUITY, |

Valruleseq|, NETINCOME, |; |, NETINCOME,.

|, OPERPROFIT, |; |, OPERPROFIT, |

|,,,,,,245000,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,| <-50 and |, 245000, | > 50; |, 245000, |

In the "display value", I used both the name of the Member account of HFM and I used '#ModeRule '.

I need to specify members for each dimension (instead of just the Member account) in the rule?

This is the result each time (always 0.00):

Value of rule name rule definition

Equity Liab LC liabilities and equity in local currency 0.00 own

Profit Net profit Local Currency 0.00

Oper income operating profit in Local Currency 0.00

Account balance Local currency must be with [+ 50-50]. 0.00

Thanks, I'd appreciate any help directed me in the right direction.

Mark Smith

Hi both,.

Oracle support told me there was a "bug" that required the precision of audit report to have a value (2 is more common). I had not entered a value for this parameter.

https://support.Oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?ID=1943536.1

I also added the Custom Member and member of the ICP albums to my rule... | REAL, TOTAST, [ICP no], OPERATIONS, ROLLFORWARDS, CURRENCYREPORTING, DATATYPE, |

My periods are now bring in HFM account balances.

Finally, I tried to implement the entities to check (I'm FDMEE 11.1.2.4 and have the last patch of HFM adapter installed). However, when adding check entities.the check report is empty. It is impossible to use control entities in 11.1.2.4 until Oracle comes out with a patch.

Thank you
Mark

• Flex Build hero 18623 - alert missing control!

Hello

I just started to use the hero for one of my projects but I get - "1172: definition mx.controls:Alert not found.» When I check, that there is there no control alert one more and I can't find any replacement spark plug?

Please feel free to enlighten me :-)

Morgan

Alert control has been moved to mx.swc, in the frameworks/libs/mx directory. MX.swc should be on the way to the library, unless your project is configured as "Spark" only in the Flex Build Path properties.

• Creating shared members through EAS load rule with duplicates allowed

I'm building my first Essbase cube where I need to activate "allow duplicate member name" in the outline. I have trouble finding a way to get the shared members added to the outline via a rule of the load. I tried to run my load of rules that I used before I activated the "allow duplicates" setting, but it does not work now. It creates members in double, which makes sense to me. I don't see a setting that I can turn to get the shared members added via load rules however.

Help?

Thank you...

Bill

In your workload file, you will need to use full qualified member names or load rule allows to transform members to the full qualified member names.

Go to this link and read the sections below

http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E10530_01/doc/EPM.931/html_esb_dbag/frameset.htm?dotdimb.htm

Strengthening of the members to double outlines
Identifies the members via the rules file
File qualified member names through the rules of construction

• Online to add the dimension member and refresh Essbase

We have a budget request that requires adding new members to the entity on the fly and hope that we can avoid the services because of the Essbase database refresh time.

No workaround can do that?

Thanks for your advice!

I wish I could tell you it was something I came up with that, but my ego will have to take the...

Create oh, 30 members in a dimension requiring members. Here are the members of your add-on-the-fly.

Do not put any data in them.

Modify your form to delete missing.

Create a HBR that can users to launch which allows an allocation of 1 member in a combination of members not used (garbage account, BegBalance, whatever).

Put in a RTP that allows them to enter 1 to the Member (use of the RTP scope definition in HBR member limit to your new 30 members).

Now you have a form that displays your new Member because deleting missing no long don't delete NewMember n . (You can hide the column that contains the 1 or something else that defines the data.)

Put a text field of planning on the form allowing the Scheduler to add the name of the Member (add another alias, if you care to).

In the night, run an ODI (or DIM or HAL) process that extracts the text value, it is up to the Member, and then builds a dimension.<--Okay, this="" bit="" i="" actually="" came="" up="" with,="" the="" rest="" i="" think="" i="" first="" heard="" from="" john="">

Complicated, isn't this it? The last piece with ODI could be replaced by a human process that follows the text field (or the text in the cell) and the dimension built manually with a refreshment during the night.

Workforce planning issues (not this one, but similar to) like this through SmartLists galore, but they are difficult to realize as metadata becomes data.

Kind regards

• Can dynamically create you index rules or virtual models in plsql?

I am writing a plsql utility that loads data into a new model in offline mode. Once the load is complete, I need to create a new index of rules based on the definition of an index of existing rules. Once this is done, I need then to drop my virtual model existing and re-create it to include the new model I just loaded. I realize I could hardcode the two statements created in my plsql but I rather dynamically build lists of types "sem_apis.create_entailment" and "sem_apis.create_virtual_model" so that I don't have to change the code every time that I add new models to my environment (i.e. with this feature, I can add new models to the index of the rule and vitual manually models and my load utility would automatically include) in the next run of load).

How can I pass the list of templates in each of these APIs? The documentation states that both accept a parameter of "models_in" of type SEM_MODELS, to whom he explains has a definition of TABLE OF VARCHAR2 (25).

I created variables of types said in my utility and initialized them valid with models. However, whenever I try to run the API in my plsql using these variables, I get the following error:

PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in the call to 'CREATE_VIRTUAL_MODEL '.

I have attached the sample code below:

declare
Model_T. ARRAY TYPE IS VARCHAR2 (25);
model_list model_T;
Start
model_list: = model_T ('M1', 'M2');
for me in model_list.first... loop of model_list. Last
dbms_output.put_line (i: ' = ': model_list (i));
end loop;
sem_apis.create_virtual_model ('m12_NEW', model_list);
end;
/

Has anyone successfully done this before? Any ideas how I might be able to get this to work?

Thank you!

Use the type SEM_MODELS as shown below:

declare
model_list SEM_MODELS;
Start
model_list: = SEM_MODELS ('M1', 'M2');
...
end;
/

• Author syntax error rule

I'm new to this forum. Recently, I worked with Oracle SOA platform. I'm currently building rules to the author of rules using XML facts. The Java code is generated using JAXB. I'm able to import the java generated types and use them in the definition of both RL and RuleSets. But when I generate the code RL and RL syntax check syntax check fails.

I get the following error message

Error:
A syntax error is located.
Error:' generated. DriverType' is not defined in column 14 of the line 4 in DM

1. the DM ruleset

5 class generated materiality. ObjectFactory supports xpath;
6 class generated materiality. RepositoryType supports xpath; {color}

So I have two questions. Why the author is not able to find the Drivertype and if it does NOT load the class files where should we keep the files for the RuleAuthor to see these classes. And also during the execution.

I work with the following XML schema

The classes must be on the classpath then the code RL can be run. One way to do it is to put them in the directory:
$ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/applications/ruleauthor/lib

• App Builder: How to evaluate the destination path?

I need to add individual *.ini files to a LabVIEW application program, but must always use the same generation (volume Installer) more this individual *.ini file.

This is necessary for the individual customer parameters that must be automatically copied into the destination during installation.

This could be resolved ba add the path to destination as a command line argument to run an executable file (a set of files for example) at the end of the installation. This executable then copy a *.ini file starting from the installation media to the destination of the application program.

I would like to define the Application Builder - Installer - properties - Advanced calling [] execute an executable

Is a variable available?

How it can be passed in the command line?

Thanks for any advice!

• Export rules & schedules

Thanks to all in advance!

You have a question on export rules and schedules to import into a new instance of the foglight...

Long story short, ive reinstalled our foglight instance

I have the plugin vfoglight of surveillance, covering the major part of the environment. I have several custom build rules in the old instance that I do not have to manually rebuild

Can anyone offer any assistance on this?

From the configuration options as rules, variables of register, measures derived and related FMS to another:

1. any amended export options of configuration of the source of the FMS:

> fmshost - srv fglcmd [.sh] - port 8080 - usr - pwd foguserpwd1 cmd - foglightuser util:configexport - f fmsconfig.xml edition

2. manually edit the generated XML file to remove all items except the selected configurations. Make sure that you do not corrupt the XML file when you perform this operation.

3. import the edited. XML file that contains only the settings selected in the FMS target:

> newfmshost - srv fglcmd [.sh] - port 8080 - usr - pwd fogusrpwd1 cmd - foguser util:configimport f editedfmsconfig.xml
