Definitions of preflight error and solutions

I spent a lot of time trying to find this than various preflight failures / errors mean; and how to fix them. There seems to be several errors preflight that creates the majority of documents. I don't mind not on content, but even upstream research fails to give me a clear report on WHAT generates the error... and so I am stuck on finding a solution.

Example: one of our PDF files don't have the preflight 'Check with a PDF/A-1b compliance' and gave me the error:

  • EmbeddedFiles entry in the names directory

I open the Doc details and examine each element of line by line. If one of these entries in line is the problem, it is not indicated by an icon.  In addition, nothing seems to refer to an element of the directory name (s). The next item is the file name field. This is why - this error means that the FILE NAME is the problem?   Or it's something entirely other SEO?

  • PDF file contains the entry EF (embedded file)

OK; I get what this means. But how to find this file embedded to fix/remove it? Or are there other steps I must take to solve this problem? I use the Analyze and Fix, but nothing never seems to get fixed, and I don't know what should be the next step. Should I throw out all embedded files? I should flatten the PDF? Something else entirely?

So I'll try to follow the errors, referring to their sense and determine the steps I can take to resolve these issues (and possibly their side effects). I can't seem to find a list material or reference to look for these files. I'm sure there must be somewhere, but my research is net so many results (not related or even a little), that I do not get the case. I don't know that I do not also use the appropriate terms.

EDIT / UPDATE: I forgot to mention: I'm running it in Acrobat Pro X. and as Acrobat Pro 9.

To get much more deep would need a very thorough knowledge of PDF/A and PDF standards. And, frankly, I have that but still it still doesn't explain how to solve the problem.  But certainly, these can be purchased. The PDF standard is about 1000 pages.

In my view it is

1. stay updated with Acrobat. You run old software and unsupported and it has been improved a lot since then, in which case things, it can correct automatically.

2. If stuck seek help. Be prepared to revise and modify production practices.

ADF, I received today a similar appeal.  When I questioned his information on the company, he was very defensive and said "I have no cold calling, I'm in East London" I asked him to give me the name of the software MS causing errors, during which he compiled a long list of file extensions and avoided the question.  When I asked her name and phone number so I can get my husband to call him back, he began to read a number on phone, but the figures '0-1', the line was cut off.

My printer recently started telling me it was in a State of 'error' and could not print my documents.  Sometimes I could turn off the printer market and all that was trying to print would then print, if documents or Quicken checks.  Now I can't print from the computer at all, or it will print checks from Quicken even if I turn the printer power off and power on.  The HP Web site indicates that it is connected.  It is the second computer from HP Officejet 4620 of the original that I bought.  The first has a problem that has been covered by the warranty, and this one doesn't seem to be much better.

  • VISA 1073807343 errors and 1073807202

    Hello everyone,

I have several issues with the VISA 5.0.3 and LabVIEW 2010 SP1, and I don't know if or how they are related, so I'll post as much information as I have here. Please excuse the super post long, just trying to be thorough.

Error BFFF009E (same as 1073807202 I think) appears to the MAX aperture as seen in attached ss1. When you try to open the VISA Interactive Control (IC), I get the message "failed to initialize the library VISA. The VISA interactive control utility will leave. "When I open any VI with a VISA resource and try to click the drop down arrow on the right to see the resources available, the arrow remains derpessed during a second, no field drop-down list is displayed, and then it returns to its original blank State. These problems all live together now, but before I could select BT VISA resources and use VISA IC, while I have always seen the error MAX.

I tried to fix VISA, as well as VISA uninstall-reinstall 5.0.3 which I believe is the most recent version. No change. I also checked that visa32.dll exists as suggested in the article below. See systeminfo.txt attached to the installed software.

This error seems to be related to an oscilloscope Tektronix DPO 2014 I connected via USB (or maybe something to do with TekVISA?). By this I mean that if the scope was connected when my computer started, this error occurs. When the field is not connected at startup, I don't see the same problems as above. Instead, I get...

Error 1073807343 (BFFF0011) when you run a VI with a VISA resource to a serial device (see ss2), or connecting to the device in IC of VISA (see ss3). I also always see the error of BFFF009E to the MAX, but not the other problems on front. I can connect to these serial devices in hyperterminal and communicate very well here. Seems similar to the post below and also, I can't find visaconf.ini, but the solution does not apply as I LV 2010. In addition, ironically, I use VISA very well talk to the scope (whether to the MAX or LV) via USB if I connect after booting.

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/instrument-control-GPIB-serial/using-HP34401A-in-LabVIEW-yields-error-code-1...

I use series of USB adapters made by Ultra (http://mail.ultraproducts.com/product_resources.php?cPath=35&pPath=782&productID=782 ) to go from instruments of series to my USB ports and the computer I'm unfortunately has no serial ports to be tested with, nor do I have another brand of the adapter. I know these converters can sometimes be a VISA problem, but I was certainly with it even without problem before.

They that all seem to have intermittent problems, because I have seen both before as I have developed and pushed to go to strange as things exchanging (apparently identical) USB extension cables or restart a dozen times. This issue has been driving me crazy for weeks, I am looking for help to try to solve it finally.

    Thank you

    Ratti

I think I got especially. Looks like it was TekVISA who got in the way, and if Visa32.dll was in the right place, it appeared (in properties > details) as the version of Tektronix, not the version of LabVIEW. After you have uninstalled all Tektronix as well as NI-VISA, he had disappeared, but no money to install or repair NI-VISA would be replaced by a version of LabVIEW Visa32.dll.

However, with the help of the article from the link below, I discovered that the repair of the installation of the driver NI-VISA DURATION is what replaces Visa32.dll, as opposed to NO-VISA just as messages of error and other links seemed to suggest.

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/B283196340462DFD86257633006DC799

Now all the VISA stuff works again, except of course for the scope of Tektronix. I'll keep this battle for the future. Guess I just needed to talk to myself for a while.

  • When compacting OE in WinXP SP3 I get a message that OE has encountered an error and needs to close

When compacting OE in WinXP SP3, I get a message that OE has encountered an error and needs to close that he made and lost messages in at least one of the message files. I can retrieve messages from the backup files, but I can do anything to correct the compaction process?

The simplest solution is a new identity.  File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

To help prevent that this happens in the future...

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

    Hello

1 how long have you been faced with this problem?
    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    4. who help and support files are you referring to?
    5. what exactly happens when you try to open it? You get the error message?

cssauth.exe is related to the Client Security Solution.

Step 1: Try disabling startup cssauth.exe in the configuration of the system.

    Here's how:

    1. click on start > run.
    2. type msconfig and press ENTER.
    3. click on the Startup tab.
4 locate cssauth.exe, and clear the check box for this.
5 restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: If you still get the same error at startup then perform the clean boot on the computer.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

    Reference:
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click on start and then click Run.
    2. type msconfig and click OK.

The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    3. click on the tab general, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

I would also ask you to contact the manufacturer of the computer because the problem is with the client security software that is provided by them.

  • When you use Internet Explorer 8, I get an error window saying that it encountered an error and needs to close.

I found your question on a search for a similar problem.  I posted my comment after your response on the social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums.  If it is necessary I'm still doing research.
I find out information about Adobe Flash Player on the site: http://blogs.adobe.com/psirt/2009/07/
who referred to a Safety Advisory 973882 Microsoft on the model Microsoft vulnerabilities (Active) ATL library that could impact on Adobe products.  Yet, the response no definitive on whether these files must be relocated, removed, or if there is a patch that solves.  Sometimes, after 50 to reinstall on a new material of different iterations of the Microsoft OS, I begin to sense where I work with an operating system of patchwork quilt.  Sounds like real life, is it not? The complications are expected.

  • Windows has encountered a critical error and close in one minute

Whenever I have reconnected my network cable, I get the error message "Windows has encountered a critical error and will close automatically in a minute. Please save your work"and another message,"Services and controller app has stopped working ".

The computer is running in offline mode and in safe mode, but the lack of internet access is a little pain!   I am currently using another computer to look for solutions.

I tried the system restore, but when it restarts, it says that it is not successful.

I checked the log of the observer of events and event ID 1000 error which suggests that "services.exe" is the problem.  I ran Malware and anti virus scans and there is no problem in the report.

I had a problem with the AV Security Suite fake Scam three days now, this problem has been fixed, but the AVSS stuff has been removed, but this problem comes from the time.

Is it better to just to do the restore to factory settings option? It's extremely frustrating!

Thanks for any help/advice anyone can give.

Thank you.    I had a CD of "Install Drivers on my computer" Dell.  When I put that in, it listed the available drivers and I extracted the files on the network card driver and it reinstalled a new network adapter driver.   Have had no problems since last night when I did, so all it seems has (finally) been resolved.

For me, the return of the AV SEcurity Suite malware download problem.  This has been the most problematic bug I encountered.    At the end of the day, a clean installation of Windows Vista seems to have solved this, and reinstalling the driver for the network card.   I have not elsewhere found the Web to REaltek site it useful as the link does not work (it says I don't have permission to access the download). When I contacted their support, they pretty much told me to do what it says on its Web site and, of course, it did not work.  It made me hunt for this driver CD.

It makes me happy, I had these original discs of installation provided with your computer, saved me a lot of £s!

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Wireless problem Post Infection - Windows has encountered a critical error and close in one minute.

    Hello

I recently had my computer infected by the virus of the Ant-malware Doctor and I believe that it has been completely removed now. However, I think that one of its components attached to a driver of key computer or something and when I removed it I accidentally deleted this essential engine with it. So I can not access the internet for more than a minute. If I turn on the wireless, I connect but immediately the computer says: 'Windows has encountered a critical error and ends in a minute' and 'Service and controller app has stopped working and was closed ". I checked also further in my error reports and think that it may also have something to with THE COUNTER Service? It is difficult to correct the situation when I can't access internet from my computer, but I can use another computer and transfer the files needed to repair the damage. Also I have a product Id, but as Im not using my own computer (to which the Id is attached), I can't access to professional advice. But if someone here can help I would be very grateful. IM thinking of uninstalling Service Packs and reinstall them but I'm not a computer expert. Thank you in advance.

Updated after you have everything installed Norton Internet Security on my laptop the scans detected some trojan infectios and I'm checking for more information and to remove all the. Also, when I've updated my Norton Internet updates no warning sign came on a mistake criticism or service and controller app. It seems that viruses are to blame for the problem and despite the using various anti-virus software and scan many times before Norton virus remained unchanged. It's possible lack of virus definitions updated authorized to do this as the internet connection difficulties made difficult to download updates lasted. Thank you, and if the problem doesn't go away, I'll re-post say.
