  • Japanese keyboard on windows 7 ultimate (Hiragana)

    with the Japanese keyboard on windows 7 ultimate, there you in katakana of default type.  It's incredibly boring, katakana is almost worthless when it comes to Japanese words how can I switch to write in hiragana?  IT IS NOT Microsoft IME no please do not post solutions for EMI or tell me to use IME in romanji are even more useless because it is a major crutch and even a barrier to learning the language.

    Hello

    I suggest you go through the steps and check.

    Keyboard shortcuts

    ALT-~ (tilde): Cycles between kana and direct entry mode
    ALT - SHIFT: Travels of available languages
    ALT-CAPS_LOCK: Past in katakana input mode
    CTRL-CAPS_LOCK: Past in hiragana input mode
    SHIFT - ALT: Allows you to switch between English and Japanese.
    Control - ~: Switches between the current entry mode and the English mode within the Japanese IME.

    TIP: It is tedious to switch between input mode Hiragana and direct entry through the language bar. Instead, you can switch by pressing Alt + Tilde (key below ESC on your keyboard). So, if you need to type Japanese, press Alt + Tilde and start typing. When you are done press Alt + Tilde again to revert to English. To get the same result in Japanese mode, press Control - ~.

  • Center mouse and keyboard in Windows 7

    We have upgraded to Windows 7 from XP SP3.  In XP, we used the Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 3000 with its five 'my favorite key' to open programs and folders on our PC.  In XP, we were able to tie a 'Favorites' key to open a folder on the PC.  The center of the mouse and keyboard in Windows 7 won't allow us to open a folder general store, it only helps us to open.

    Is there a work around for this?  I can try to disable this program and install the utility from the CD that came with the keyboard, but I prefer to use the utility built into Windows 7 because it is native to the operating system.
    Thank you guys!

    "Mouse and keyboard Center" are incorporated into Win7? Not mine. Basic 'Keyboard' and 'Mouse' on the Panel.
    A native utility to the OS is necessarily superior to third party applications.
    Generally, the software that is provided with a device adds flexibility to the product and in many cases is required for all features.

    The version of the "Center of keyboard and mouse" the disk would probably
    an older version. Try one that suits your Win7 version from the link below.

  • "Use Enhanced Keyboard on Windows Client if available" GPO disappeared in view 6?

    According to the title.

    I can't find the 'use Enhanced Keyboard on Windows Client so they are available' setting that used to be in the view 5 Client GPO.

    Group Policy does not include this more - can anyone confirm?

    We want to go through sequence thin clients running 8.1 WES CAD.

    Can someone advise?

    I asked around and the consensus was that the feature has never worked and it was a mistake to make it in the GPO template in the first place.  Normally, never delete us a GPO model element if it worked in a previous version, but in this case, I think we implemented the feature and then shot in the same release due to many problems and I forgot to remove it from the model GPO later.

  • Delay with the SendInput Windows API: entry to the editor, IE or Notepad is delayed

    Hello

    We have developed a virtual keyboard (vk) and use the Windows API to display it. Later, we the vk is used to enter the keys to the internet explore.

    The problem is the keys take duration display sometimes and sometimes, there is a delay and the key appears only once the following keys is pressed. What is causing this behavior? I used to use the native C++ API, and here's the function that calls the SendInput API:

    void CallSendInput (int Vcle, int nKbdState)
    {
    Inpt of ENTRY = {INPUT_KEYBOARD, {0}};

    If (pfKeyPress)
    return;

    If (nKbdState & 0x01) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_SHIFT; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}
    If (nKbdState & 0x02) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_CONTROL; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}
    If (nKbdState & 0x03) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_CANCEL; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}
    If (nKbdState & 0x04) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_MENU; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}

    inpt.ki.wScan = MapVirtualKey (Vcle, MAPVK_VK_TO_VSC);
    INPT. Ki.time = 0;
    inpt.ki.dwExtraInfo = 0;
    inpt.ki.dwFlags = 0;

    inpt.ki.wVk = Vcle;

    SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT));
    inpt.ki.dwFlags = KEYEVENTF_KEYUP;

    SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT));

    bKEYUPForced = true;
    If (nKbdState & 0x01) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_SHIFT; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}
    If (nKbdState & 0x02) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_CONTROL; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}
    If (nKbdState & 0x03) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_CANCEL; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}
    If (nKbdState & 0x04) {inpt.ki.wVk = VK_MENU; SendInput (1, & inpt, sizeof (INPUT)) ;}

    }

    I'd appreciate the solution to this.

    Hello

    I can't find a way to US International keyboard configuration in Windows 8. It's really frustrating because I like working with an English keyboard, but I often have to write Spanish accents or special characters.
    Best regards, Miguel.

    Hello

    Took me a little while to understand it as it is not obviously accessible somehow...
    Please, try the following. Go to 'Control Panel\Clock, language and Region\Language', click English (United States)... 'options', then 'Add an input method', search for [QWERTY] United States International Touch Keyboard layout (in my case) or similar; then 'Add '.
    Once he shows up the international sort, DELETE the default English input method.
    You should then be able to n, a e i o u without delay by pressing first the focus then the letter
    Then hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys +! do
    Then hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys +? do
