There is no drivers, they are base operating system files and they are quite impossible to delete because they will be immediately replaced by the mechanism of Protection of Windows (WFP) files.  Ntoskrnl.exe is the core, the heart of the operating system, how exactly would you have removed these basic system files?

  • I deleted the drivers of HP and my dvd/rw no longer works

I removed my 64-bit Windows 7sp1 computer HP drivers.  Shortly after, I noticed that my DRV/rw not working.  Recognozed of Windows in like the DVD-RAM Device Manager and it appears when I start the computer if I want to start from, but I can't boot from it and Windows cannot read anything on a disc that I put in the drive.

Unfortunately, I have more restoring the system when I removed the drivers...

I checked and you don't have any filter higher or lower in the registry.

I deleted the dvd/rw in normal mode and safe, but it does not solve the problem.

I bought an external dvd/rw usb that runs slowly, but it cannot start a disc if I when you restart the computer.

    This can be corrected?

    Hello Libra,

Please keep us updated on the status of the issue.

  • Deleted the drivers! Help, please!

I had not used my old laptop Alienware M17x R4 for some time and there were a bunch of junk on it I didn't need and the computer is slow, and it could be a virus on it. So, I decided to do a cleaning of the computer one night later. I read a guide on how to do it and I reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium with save or save the old unwanted files. When asked which driver to install Windows on, the guide was ambiguous and a mixture of fatigue and dyslexia led me to remove all the drives except the DATAPART (c :)) driver which has 29.8 GB of storage. I now have those 29.8 GB of storage and not the 1 TB driver that is on this computer. All graphics and video cards have been lost and I can't even connect to the WiFi on the PC.

    What I tried:

Reinstall the driver updated the Dell Web site

Restore the computer to factory settings (I can not, I do not have the storage)

Is there anywhere I can download and install the drivers, I need or my computer is just screwed?

I don't know how to solve this problem, I know it was a terrible mistake, but can someone please help

1 you seem to have misspelled readers and/or drivers as long as it is not possible to be completely sure what happened & what is the current situation.  Check and correct your post so that people can help you better.

    2. If you have installed Windows 7 on a disk of 29 / GB in your computer then "partition" has probably stored files Dell Factory Image Restore [DFIR].  This would explain why, you can't run now that the easy, but your comment, I have no storage is meaningless to me.

    • You could have supported DFIR to a USB port, but not many people take this precaution - do you have?
    • You may have a Windows 7 reinstall drive provided by Dell with your computer - do you?
    • What did you use to reinstall Windows 7?

3 I don't know if your computer has multiple hard drives in it, or if a single hard drive has been "compartmentalised" into separate sections so that each behaves as if it were a separate disk drive.  It is essential to know because you or another

need to remove the installation of Windows 7 and then reinstall on a larger drive,

    or

You must increase the size of the partition in the partition you installed Windows 7 on [to, say, 100GB].  Then you will be able to partition off the power then format the rest of the hard disk as a data reader to separate your own operating system data files [this is a very useful to have Setup].

Instructions for making these two things are radically different.  Whatever it is, you will need a good amount of computer skills to perform the task, and you might be better to ask someone else to do it for you.  You will need to use a partitioning tool [the built-in tool is called disk management , but many people prefer third-party tools such as Easeus Partition Manager].  The work is actually pretty easy if you know what do everyone you know who did this just before time would be able to do so or stand over your shoulder and will guide you.

4 on the hardware drivers - Dell has all the drivers you need.  Just go to their website and enter the 'Dell Service number' that you will find on a label somewhere on your computer and in your purchase documentation.  Reference Dell then you can download all the latest drivers for your computer [not only for your computer model but specifically for your computer].  Each update Dell will have a page of instructions, so we'll tell you how to install.  While you are there, find the Dell support Web page called Driver install so that the desktop computers and laptops because the sequence of pilot facilities is very important.

  • Replacement of removed the drivers (internet)?

A friend of mine was trying to delete some files and believes she accidentally caught a few pilots in the delete as well. Since then, she has been unable to launch any web browser despite his cell phone indicating that it has an active wireless connection. She tried a restore of the system without result.

Being computer illiterate, I have a few questions. Deleted the drivers would cause something like that or something else would be to blame? If it's the drivers, how could she determine which are missing in order to figure out who needs to be restored? Finally, by what means would be restored pilots? She has more all disks associated with the system.

I don't really know what information is needed here. Let me know if something else is needed, and I'll get it here. Thank you.

If it has been too long for a restore at work Point, try this:

Have try the Safe Mode with network - repeatedly tap F8 to select

    or:

The drivers can be downloaded to another computer and transferred
This one on removable media such as CD, DVD, or USB drives.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Cannot delete the HP Photosmart C3180 and port DOT4USB drivers

I deleted the icon of the printer and the bestI software possible.  but I still have the DOT4USB port, but no printer icon. Ineed to remove the portand drivers. I have now an a909g hp 8500, and the new tests diagnostic shows the HP Photosmart C3180 as one of the printers on a USB port. This is not true.

I'm a software developer, and computer repair guy and I took a class years on writing ActiveX/OLE controls, so I don't mind editing the registry and delete the files.  I need steps for pub to remove the vestigesof the c3180.  This software is a pain in the neck. easiest way to uninstallis to reinstall windows from scratch, I know, but I have a lot of valuable files.

I don't want to miss all the pieces. the drivers are not my skills more.

I got it by using a regedit file that looked like below.

someone else will be different because the material of the port will be different, so you should not use this exact one.

I suggest you rather that do [windows [logo-key indicator] r regedit [Enter]

Search for the following text (not nessarily just a string):

Find "HP Photosmart C31" partial text and delete the entries that you find

Search text "DOT4USB" and delete the entries you find, but make sure that you do not delete the keys to category of port

You can search "DOT4" and carefully remove the subentries that apply only to the C3100 series.  You probably already have these above.

reset.  You must, because these drivers are still loaded and these inscriptions will be back unless you restart now that you have deleted entries.

You can alsodocument them to change, copy the name of the key, then paste into notepad ++ and save it as a .reg with Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 header file

  • Is it safe to delete the partition OSXRESERVED? because it is still there after the installation of windows 10

I recently got a MacBook Pro 15 "2015 model retina running MacOSX 10.11.5 El Capitan.

My steps for installing Windows 8.1:

Create a. ISO file from DVD installation disc and save it. ISO on a USB Flash drive.

run bootcamp and run the. Location of the ISO on the usb flash drive.

    The SSD partition

and then it reboot and the windows installer is on and I finish installing Windows 8.1

then the program to install bootcamp drivers intervenes and installs the drivers

then it restarts and I upgraded towing 10 Windows later and update the bootcamp drivers

Then I start to Mac OS X, but the OSXRESERVED partition is still there.

And when I restart by pressing the option key, I see 1 Macintosh HD but 2 displayed Windows disks

Is it safe to delete the partition OSXRESERVED?  I read online that deleting it will cause 10 Windows do not to start over.

Or should I leave it alone?

In my opinion, you should leave these files. If you n t need Tools CD you can remove it, but in my opinion, you should burn all the tools on CD before you delete it. It may happen that you need the tools later.

Start please help Toshiba and under protection and Fix, you can find an option Create CD drivers and tools. This option allows you to create an external backup of the drivers support.

  • Format HARD drive, delete the recovery partition and recover with disc

    Hello

I have a laptop Satellite C660D-17F and want to format my HDD, remove the recovery partition and recover the preinstalled Windows 7 and other software. I don't want to keep my own data, which are all stored already, I just want to be sure I can safely restore preinstalled stuff. I have a few questions that I need help to clear up before I go ahead.

Am I right in thinking the dvd recovery disc I made when I got to my laptop has all the software and drivers that I need on this subject, the same that would have the recovery partition? If I do another room to spare in now just to be sure only will they have the out-of-box default stuff: OS, software and drivers on any of my data?

I found [this post | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/items/faq/71] which explains the recovery process. If I select "Erase the hard drive" (so I can wipe my hard drive and delete the recovery partition too) what happens after that? It will restore the OS and the software for the backup of dvd drive? Will the process after that recreate a recovery partition (which I don't)?

    Added SIDENOTE:
I actually prefer to be able to choose what programs preinstalled settle after that I have format, but I'm guessing that probably isn't possible and will settle for install everything and remove what I'm after. Or is there a way?

Sorry, I know that was a long post, but I want to be sure of what will happen BEFORE I'll and spoil things! :) If you got this far, thanks for reading. :)

    Hello

I will try to offer help. ;)
    > Am I right in thinking the dvd recovery disc I made when I got to my laptop has all the software and drivers that I need on this subject, the same that would have the recovery partition?
Yes. Saved on recovery discs recovery image contains the operating system, all necessary drivers, specific Toshiba and utility tools and some additional software.
    > If I do another room to spare in now just to be sure only will they have the out-of-box default stuff: OS, software and drivers on any of my data?
Preinstalled Toshiba Recovery creator make recovery disc that includes the recovery image only. It has nothing to do with your personal data.
    > I found this post that explains the process of recovery. If I select "Erase the hard drive" (so I can wipe my hard drive and delete the recovery partition too) what happens after that?
After that, you should use recovery disks created for the recovery image installation.
    > Will the process after that recreate a recovery partition (which I don't)?
When you use the recovery disc for your laptop recovery image installation will have factory settings which include the recovery saved on the HARD disk image. To be honest I do not understand why you do not want to have this recovery image on the HARD drive. This allows the installation of recovery using recovery of HARD drive option. But of course you can delete it later for more free space on your HARD drive. Installation image that you can always use created for recovery discs-recovery DVDs.
    > I'd really rather be able to choose what programs preinstalled settle after that I have format, but I'm guessing that probably isn't possible and will settle for install everything and remove what I don't want after
    Fix.

  • How to get the drivers on my Satellite U305?

    Hello

I have trouble with my Toshiba Satellite U305. My laptop using vista OS but after formatting hard drive, I can't find the driver as web cam etc. So what do I do with my laptop driver on the HARD disk, I see a hidden partition which is like the hidden driver?

How can I get this driver for my laptop?

    Hello

The situation is more complex than what it look like. Toshiba does not create a partition hidden with the list of drivers. What should I Toshiba is to place the complete recovery on the second partition image. This partition is visible. I am not sure how she look like models of laptop computers in the United States, but on European models, this image is saved in the folder called HDDRecovery.

I'm afraid that you write on the hidden WinRE partition, but it has nothing to do with the drivers of Toshiba. I think that you have deleted the recovery image, and unfortunately there is nothing you can do now to get it back. I'm afraid you need to install your own operating system by using the Microsoft DVD facilities. all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can find on Toshiba support page under http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp.

If you have any other questions please post again.

    Good luck!

  • Is it safe to delete the zip driver after driver udpate?

I've recently updated some drivers on my computer and I would like to know if it is safe to delete these zip files once the drivers have actually been installed. There are also some that are just files in the same folder of update that are not compressed.

If anyone can help me I would be very happy!

    Sincerely,

    Amanda

    Hi Amanda,.

If you are running Windows XP, then I recommend to use the RESTORE option to restore your system to its correct state. Obviously, using a prior restore point when you ran your cleaner utility.

If this does not resolve your system then I would recommend a reinstall of your operating system from the proceeds of the recovery disks (backup your own data first files) because there may be other files that have been deleted by your own utility.

    Kind regards

  • HP psc 1350 & Windows 7 64 bit. The drivers are installed, but when I try to print...

I've deleted and reinstalled several times.  I've done that it is connected to the internet, etc.  I even watched the progress of the drivers being installed.  And nothing.

The scanner works perfectly, is not the cable.  I tried all the HP diagnostic tools who say there is nothing wrong, checked for new drivers.  He drives me crazy now!  Can anyone suggest that a last resort solutions please?

    -Office 2010

-AVG internet Security 2012 (I test to see if the firewall was causing a problem)

I (literally) dusted off our old computer and tried the printer.  Similar problem, despite all the old drivers are always there.

Due to the backlog of work at home of my son, we have admitted his defeat and bought a new printer. And we had the same type of problem.  Further research on the internet, which suggests to restart the print spooler in Services.msc and finally we managed to print something!

    Thank you for your help.
