deleting files such as C:\104cd94a34b6bc0523

I think that these are the files created by Windows Update and scanned w/Security Essentials, but they seem to be spread. The above is the second file to create on my hard drive since the reinstall Win 7 months ago. I am denied permission, even when I login as administrator, to delete these files. Is there a solution? A file is 22 MB, and the other is 35 MB.

You can delete under elevated privileges. Here's a way to do it:

1 log in under an administrator account.
2. click on the start planet.
3. type cmd.exe in the search box.
4. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
5. click on "run as Administrator".
6. type the following command:
del c:\104 {now press the Tab key to force self-expanding file name}
Press the Enter key.

With PlayMemories Mobile or PlayMemories host files on the Sony Cam can be deleted. All drives (partitions) are mounted read-only when Sony Cam is connected to your PC.

However, you can remove the SD of the cam and mount/connect card with an SD adapter directly and delete individual files, and also update the AGPS data in even - as this can also be changed only when it is mounted without the cam.

Sony recommends formatting the SD card after you import your videos and photos with PlayMemories House to clean any excess files such as metadata or exif of previous videos and photos allowing you to maximize the storage capacity of the SD card. [1]

Formatting your SD card on your PC allows the format to exFAT - where to format the SD card on your Sony Cam perform only in format FAT32.

After each format SD card, transfer of information AGPS on the SD card. What Sony Cam connected to the PC directly on the SD card is read-only. Follow the steps below:

    • Remove the cam Sony SD card
    • Connect the SD card directly to your PC
    • Launch PlayMemories Home on Windows or Mac OS X
    • Select Tools > tools for Support of GPS
    • Select the drive letter that corresponds to your Sony Action Cam and press the update now.

It can be the cause of this problem?

    Hello

I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

    Method 1:
Start the computer in safe mode and check if the same problem occurs:

    Method 2:
Try to perform the clean boot and check if it helps:

    It will be useful.

  • Without going into the file to delete files

When I delete the files in the box as they are supposed to go in the folder to be deleted, but since 04/10/13 I can't consult one of these deleted files.

Deleted items is probably damaged. On the off chance that you want messages to be saved in deleted items, (a garbage can), move them to a local folder, you create and then follow these steps.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX file for deleted items and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

In tools | Options | Maintenance: Uncheck Compact messages in the background box and let it unchecked. {N/a if running XP/SP2}.

    And backup often.

  • Cannot delete file win xp sp3

I have two files that I can't remove.  The name is avidemux_2.5_r7200_win32.exe I d/l from cnet.com somehow, they changed their date on themselves at the 06:43 04/30/1986 on all attempts, the error message is the same: it is used by another person or program.  I realize that there is a perion in the middle of the file name.

    I can't change the name.

I tried to remove it by using the right click, delete file and tasks folder, cmd prompt del filename and cmd prompt deltree filename.

I tried to change the attributes with the only success beint removing hidden.

I am able to copy the files to another directory, but the copy is undeletable also (so now I have 4 copies).

I'm unable to move the file to another directory.

I used regedit and delete any key with this file name (the company is the nth file).

I restarted in safe mode and cannot be removed using the foregoing.

There's a copy on my backup NAT and I can not remove this file from here either.  Understand an output, please.

Well, I thought I knew about the removal of things but...  I really need some help here.

    PLEASE

This looks like a nasty piece of malware.  No legitimate program protects himself as well...

My next step would be to start from an operating system on a CD.  I love the free Hirens Boot CD
    Hirens: <> http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ >

Download the file .zip, extract it to the hard drive, and double-click the file ".cmd" generate/create a bootable CD.  Boot your system from the CD and select the option 'Mini Windows XP'.
Booting from CD does several things for you.  First, it ensures that none of the files on the hard disk are "used" and in the second place, malicious programs on the disk hard which can actively prevent the deletion of one such file will not present when booting from a CD.

AprΦs the dΘmarrage, you might want to make sure that there are no attributes system or hidden on the file that you want to delete and you will find a multitude of utilities on this CD that should be able to get rid of this file for you.  In my view, there are also utilities anti-malware on this CD that you can choose to run while you're started towards him.  Let me know if it helps

  • Help with my computer! All the deleted files, including recovery! What's past and how to fix it?

Hello. So a few days ago I restarted my computer. Literally restarted my computer (turn off then turn onn) because my shortcuts do not work (the .exe would not launch files). I restarted my computer, and when I click on the shortcut, he said that there was no such destination. Soon I relised all my files are gone. I restarted my computer and you press F8 so that I can back to factory State, but the recovery has not worked and now im stuck at the facility because it looks like this: there is no for files recovery. Idk what happened but all my files and I installed software have disappeared. Someone can you please tell me what happened and how can I solve this problem?

100% recovery does not work! Using the computer in safe mode doesn't work.

My system doesn't have a backup of the files. The files just disappeared. All my files actually including the files for recovery. You say I should reinstall my windows using the CD/DVD. If this is the case, I have a problem because I don't have the CD/DVD for her. The paper in my computer box indicates that you must install it in the computer (deleted files). What can I do?

Your system does not have backups of your files/folders for you.  It is your duty to implement only or not.  If you do not the installer / make backups of your data - so you lose if/when something happens.

(The automatic backup of the system files needed) system restore is enabled by default - but can be disabled by the system administrator.

The "recovery" you used is not a feature of Microsoft or setup - which was created by the computer manufacturer.  They decided that it would be more easy/better to put the backup of the system installation media in the same place the user puts all their stuff - on the physical hard disk in the machine.  It is destructive or not is determined by the computer manufacturer and they even included a choice (destructive or non-destructive recovery) _ at the time use you it.  Each of them has been/is different.

You can contact the manufacturer of the computer and HOPE they always support of recovery for your computer and not you charge (or charge you a large part) to get the media said.

Can read this - it might help:

Can I delete files from diagnosis with damage them my PC?

    Hello

    1. What is the problem you're having with your computer?

2 of diagnostic files are. what type you referring?

    3. did you run any tool Diagnostics Microsoft recently?

Note: Windows stores the various different system event logs and cycles of programs running in the operating system, there are some log files that you can safely remove and then the system would be recreate them. However, some log files are required for the operating system to maintain and read\review on a regular basis, if these log files are modified or deleted their dependent program may not work correctly.

You can run disk clean up utility in Windows Vista as a safe way to compensation for temporary data and delete logs such as system error-recovery and dump files.

    Delete files using disk cleanup

  • deleting files in drive d

I'm unable to delete files in my drive d. I never created them I do not know where they cam since I am the only user... I tried to change the property... nothing works... any ideas on how to remove them?

The first question is do you really want to delete them?  They could very well be the recovery partition put there by the manufacturer of the computer so that you can restore your system to the factory settings in the event of a disaster any.  This may be your only way to recoverting operating system (although they usually give you instructions on how to make the disks of both recovery - what you need to do).  If this is the case, do NOTHING to this partition - do NOT delete files, add files, defragment the partition, scan of the partition or any other thing.  If you have already done so, contact the manufacturer of your computer to ask them how to cancel whatever it is that you did there.  Usually, you can tell because this partition is about 8 - 16 GB in size (much smaller than the drive C partition)-, but your computer manufacturer you can tell shot course with your brand, model and serial number.  If you delete this and that is the recovery partition, you will have no way to re - install the operating system should that situation be required (except perhaps if recovery disks you made them or they came with the system)- but still NOT want to remove this image from factory-condition such that it may one day save you when nothing else works.

If this isn't the recovery partition (and I bet it is), then return and we will advise you how to erase the partition of something that "on this subject (there are several options) - but I'm pretty sure it's the recovery partition (partially because of the difficulty you are having to delete the files it contains)."

    I hope this helps.

  • When you delete files (in Windows 7) Explorer hangs on 'calculate' the size of the files to delete. This problem also occurs in Windows Vista (out and included SP1).

    When this problem happens:
    * You try to delete files, from any folder: a folder user protected (such as your desktop), a protected windows folder (such as program files) or an unprotected folder you created yourself (for example, a folder named "test" on your C permit)
    * The problem only occurs when you try to delete files using Windows Explorer. The problem only IS NOT OCCUR when you delete the files from another system using one hand (log on to another computer, open a shared folder, for example by opening \\windows7system\c$\test and try to remove this folder).

    What's happening:
    * Explorer crashes when 'Calculating' the features of folder.

    Question:
    * Why is this happening? It seems to be a problem in Explorer, not in the delete code actually (since the problem does not occur with one hand)

I don't know the underlying cause or how to fix it. However, something like Unlocker would work.

  • Best way to clean previously deleted files

    Hello

I give my laptop a friend so I spent some time remove personal files and removing programs that I paid for. Mainly of him leaving the OS of Windows 7 Pro, free software security/anti-malware, Microsoft Works, Adobe Reader, etc., bit stripped.

So, I know that even if I deleted my personal files, they are still there until writes above. Which leads to my question, can anyone recommend how to permanently delete/clean/clean previously deleted files, even those that have been deleted from the Recycle Bin, whether by a program in the operating system or a third-party software?

I had been until now update without any problems for Business Catalyst. Is it possible that muse is trying to delete a file that he placed on Business Catalyst? No file to muse on my server is, of course, since this is the first time that I have download here.

    I am using sftp.

I am downloading to a specific folder and write it like that/var/www/directory

The port is the standard sftp (22)

  • How to delete files on oracle 10.2.0.3 flashback logs?

Hi, all, I met a question, how do I delete files on oracle 10.2.0.3 flashback logs?

Just use the "alter database flashback off" Automatic delete them?

and no other way to do it?

    Thank you very much.

The removal of flashback logs is managed in-house, which means that you can not remove the manually, flashback logs unless you disable the FLASHBACK DATABASE (using the method you already mentioned).

According to the Oracle Documentation, flashback logs are automatically deleted when:

    1. If flash recovery area is full, then perhaps archived redo log be automatically deleted by the flash recovery area to make room for other files. In one such case, all the flashback logs that require the use of this log file to roll forward to the use of FLASHBACK DATABASE are also deleted.

    2. If the database must create a new log of flashback and flash recovery area is full or there is no disk space, then the oldest newspaper of flashback is reused instead.

(Reference: 5.3.5.1 rules for the conservation and abolition of the Flashback logs)

    See you soon,.
