• ODSEE 11G VS 6.3.1 Department Classes

  We run Sun Department 6.3.1. I am a new admin and you are looking for courses on this subject. I was wondering if anyone knows if the ODSEE 11 G class will be useful in this area or if too many things have changed? I have trouble finding to Department 6.3.1 classroom courses. We'll probably be upgraded to ODSEE in any case on the line.

  I have a few questions about certificates.

  (1) do I need to renew the original self-signed certificates created when the DS was created, if I'm not currently using the secure port?

  (2) do you have any suggestions as to a good resource to explain the use and implementation of certificates in ODSEE?

  Use of ldaps (LDAP over SSL) is optional, so no need to renew the certificates if you do not use encryption to access or LDAPS attribute

  Certificates are used with SSL for secure LDAP channel. SSL implementation used by Department based on NSS https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Projects/NSS

  ODSEE does not support the paged control.  Because of unified directory of Oracle.

  You can consider using the VLV control (supported by two directories) as described in http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/56/I-D/draft-ietf-ldapext-ldapv3-vlv-09.txt

• Return of OUD to ODSEE data migration

  I work with one of my clients on the migration of a bunch of parameters ODSEE of OUD. During deployment, we arrived at the front door running and everything was fine runnign as it should.

  For some unknown reason, however, the ODSEE suddenly began to refuse updates, and we therefore found ourselves in a scenario where the OUD had data more specific that would be rejected by the ODSEE through the gateway of the replication.

  We wanted to reset the ODSEE with the OUD data form, but that there is the ds2oud tool and the export of substances on the side of ODSEE, y at - it an option or a tool for generating a LDIF friendly ODSEE?

  A more information: currently there is no tool to adjust entries OUD reimport them in Department and keep the replication metadata.

  An option would still be to export entries to OUD (export-ldif) and use the-e option to filter the attributes of replication metadata specific oud.

  OUD exposes the entryUUID. Which equals ODSEE nsUniqueId, but the format of the value is slightly different, so the nsUniqueId will need to be adapted with a script.

  bought the application called box scanning tools-network network, by Marcus Roskosch. Details of the app says it can detect applications containing the ghost of XCode, so I wanted to make sure, I was not seen this issue because of certain things happening with my phone.

  When you have the app, if you go to the device, then network, the bottom of the screen shows the Interfaces. 6.3.6.0 is listed several times on my camera, and when I go into that and choose the info from the field, it shows that it is the US Department of defense Network, provider of Navy Network Information Center, place of Fort Huachuca.

  There are other IPS field which can also be trace routed using this application than any link to a location of the DOD. Some in Columbus, OH, some in Washington, D.C., etc..

  Remove this application. You don't need it assuming that your device is not jailbroken. Update to iOS 9.3.3 and erase your Safari cache as shown below:

• I received a call from the "Department of microsoft technology.

  The appellant wanted to I go to my computer, go to start, select run, and he could help me with an error message that they were receiving. He said that I was infected by a Virus. I've been a little suspisious so I asked him for the phone number of the tech Department, he gave me a number and I called him. The lady who answered the phone was very surprised and said that the number is in no way affiliated with microsft. If there is a reason why microsoft if want to contact me, let me know and I'd be happy to call if I can find a phone number.

  These scam calls are usually of a person representing Windows rather than Microsoft, but in any case, the call was nothing else than a phishing attempt! Do not give any information.

  Reported people on these calls for a person who represents Windows (note: not Microsoft).

  It is a scam! Not to follow their instructions or advice and not to provide ANY information to them.

  Because they use the internet lines and/or phone to complete their fraud, there may be federal agencies in your country who are interested in discovering their calls. Their report directly to the appropriate agency if you feel you can contribute to their arrest and the charges.

  Microsoft do NOT pick up the phone and start dialing customers and never phones/e-mails asking for personal information or asking them to visit a web site! Please do not take into account these calls and hang up immediately.

  Avoid scams that use the Microsoft name fraudulently

  Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

  You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.

  If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, to explain, and change passwords.

  If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

  And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

  Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.

  Microsoft issues never not solicited for phone calls of support or security.

  These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

  If you have given them access to your PC and then what you do will depend on the type of information you store on it, and how to use it. Personally, I would, at a minimum:

  ·        Change all passwords that may have been compromised. Doing this on another PC you can

  have been infected and send the new password to scammers.

  ·        Make a clean (including a format) install of Windows or restore the factory State. You will lose all

  data, so back to a separate drive. If you do not feel confident to do this to go

  ·        Check the above return for viruses using at least two independent analysers of up-to-date antivirus.

  ·        Watch for suspicious charges/payments on your credit cards and lodging.
