Deployment of Application EPMA error (cube Essbase BSO)

Hello

I'm trying to deploy the EPMA application & I get the following error:

Success.

\\Record #8797 - error adding dynamic calc Member % deep property sales (3320)
\\Record #8797 - no time dimension defined
Statistical accounts + S T Stat Reps + X T % deep sales ~ X F E T ' \"5500"-> \"YearTotal\"/\"Sales\"-> \"YearTotal\ ';"    % of sales turnover %
\\Record #8799 - error adding dynamic calc Member Margin_Inc % property (3320)
\\Record #8799 - no time dimension defined
Stat accounts + S T Stat Reps X T Margin_Inc % + X A E T '\"Margin\"/ \"Sales\ '; »

I'm tagging the account member % deep sales & Margin_Inc % as average of TB, if I set this to none, I do not get these errors and what deploys without errors. Post deployment if I go to the main lines and try to assign average TB directly in EA I am able to do it without any errors.

I'm on EPMA 11.1.2.1, this error is not involved in the planning application but in cube Essbase BSO EPMA

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

Sorry - reread your post and follows it is an EPMA BSO app, does not intend.  You can try placing the period before dimension the dimension account in order and see if it deploys?  I know that's not ideal, but just as a test.  You can read the end of this possibly related post:

  • Problem EPMA - request for Essbase BSO - UDA

    Hello
We have a shared in EPMA hierarchy that we use to maintain the Dimensions in applications.
Among the sizes that I need in the Essbase BSO application - two of them have specific UDAs assigned to them. (two for each Member in these dimensions - UDAs can be shared between dimensions)

    Dimension_A
    -Member_A1 (UDAx, UDAy)
    -Member_A2 (UDAp, UDAq)

    Dimension_B
    -Member_B1 (UDAx, UDAy)
    -Member_B2 (UDAp, UDAq)

    UDA
    -UDAx
    UDAy-
    -UDAp
    -UDAq

But when I deploy the app, I see only a UDA update in the Essbase outline (checked via EAS)
    Dimension_A
    -Member_A1 (UDAx)
    -Member_A2 (UDAp)

    Dimension_B
    -Member_B1 (UDAx)
    -Member_B2 (UDAp)

I don't know why it isn't updated outline properly - can anyone suggest what could be the problem?
I tried redeploying several times / deleting the dimensions by adding still / even rolled out a new app from scratch - no luck.

    Concerning
    Ankur

When you add more than 1 UDA. You need to perform a redeployment after the addition of a new UDA.

Add a new UDA Member-> remove the OLD.
    Deploy.
Back to EPMA-> add the OLD to the new UDA
    Deploy again.

Do this for the first of the dimension hierarchy

    Ex:

    DIM [Dimension]
    --Also [parent]
    -A1 [child /Lvl0]
    -A2 [child /Lvl0]
    ------B
    -------------B1
    -------------B2

Do the changes described above for A, A1 and A2. Once done, the changes should be reflected at B, B1 and B2 and others, as appropriate

The changes should now be seen in Essbase.

  • EAS deployment on application server error

    Hi all

    I install 11.1.2 (x64bit) on a distributed environment (two VM with W2k8)
Machine 1 - Server SQL, Essbase, EAS
Machine 2 - HSS, workspace, planning, etc.

I have to install all the components and configuration of Shared Services and Essbase. Now, setting up Regional service, while deployed to the application server, he requested information from field Weblogic on which you want to deploy the web application. The Weblogic domain is on Machine 2, and the configuration utility retrieves the info so that I can deploy to the existing domain. But when I click on it, then, it gives an error message:

EPMCFG-10063: unable to connect to the Remote Server Admin on the '< servername >' host and port "7001". Please, check the configuration

I was able to configure all the other components that were on the Machine 2 itself as planning framework and RA. Have also created a planning application and did a create database successfully to verify that the connection to the Essbase Server works. Do not know what could be the problem of the Regional service configuration.

Any help would be appreciated to help solve this problem.

    See you soon,.
    Abhishek

I'm not able to tell how to configure your environment with the little information given, I'll leave to someone else.
Although weblogic can be deployed by using a single domain or autonomous areas.

When you tried to configure using a domain was the administrator of the server certainly running on machine 2?

    See you soon

  • EPMA Essbase BSO cube with text measures

    Hello world
    I use Oracle EPM 11.1.2.2
I'm trying to deploy a cube essbase BSO with EPMA text measures. The list of text EPMA must be created as a smartlist dimension. I even kept the Member account with the data type text as the first member of the level 0 of the account hierarchy.
When deployment I'm gettting no error. In environmental assessments when I see the property of the Member, it shows as text, and also with the list of text attached to it. But when I insert data, data gets too loaded and gives no error.

But when am through Smart View data display or HFR, the data are displayed as numbers and not as text.

    Kindly help.

    Kind regards
    SS

    Hello

    We met the same problem.
Try the same essbase outline in cube Epma no if it works, then update at the request of EPMA and then deploy it and check again if this works.

  • Calculation of the report in Essbase BSO cube

I was hoping to get some ideas on how to implement a calculation of ratio in a cube Essbase BSO. To help explain the problem, in the sketch of the Sample.Basic, if I need to add a new Member to the dimension account called SalesMarketRatio and defined as sales of products in each market to Total sales of products in all markets.

For example, SalesMarketRatio to 100-10 in New York would be sales-> 100-10 - > New York/sales-> 100-10-> market.
For example, SalesMarketRatio for 100-20 in New York would be sales-> 100-20 - > New York/sales-> 100-20-> market.
    For example, SalesMarketRatio for 100-20 Florida is sales-> 100-20 - > Florida/sales-> 100-20-> market.

I am open to that SalesMarketRatio is a member of Dynamics-calc, or stored and calculated via a calc script. In Sample.Basic, I am able to hardcode each combination but it is not an option in our real example since the scattered dimensions are huge with thousands of members each. Any ideas would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The formula could be as simple as:

    Sales/Sales->Market;

The members of the product and the market 'numerator' are defined implicitly everywhere where you calculate / collect.

  • Migrate an application Hyperion 11.1.1.3 EPMA planning and Essbase 11.1.2.2

  • Impossible to enter data to Parent - Essbase BSO Cube level member

    Hello

I'm unable to enter data on the form in line against a member parent in the entity dimension. The Web form gets classified off when I select the parent member (level 1) level enter store information of text (from the account Dimension)

So my selection of page elements is the entity dimension and my lines are account codes (account dimension) and the column is a dimension of the year. I can enter and save data on the selection of the level 0 member, but when I select its parent, cells member is listed on.

I understand that it is not advisable to enter data at zero level members. Users would still like to store textual information about the parent member. According to my understanding, BSO Cubes should allow us to enter data into the zero-level member.

    Kindly advice.

    Thank you

    Thomas

    Cube Essbase BSO
Dimension feature - Sparse - element of the Web Form Page
Account the Dimension - as always Dense - rows on the Web Form
Year Dimension - Sparse - column on the Web form

Yes, "Ascending" you cannot enter data at a higher level. You must do as a target version, then you can enter any level of data.
You can also create several versions and make any version as 'target' version and enter the data for the target version.

  • 'Unspecified error' when you deploy by using EPMA

So far, the symptoms include (11.1.2.1 Version):

    • When you create a new Member account with the same properties as his brothers and sisters, the application will validate, but abandonment of deployment of an "unspecified error".
    • If this member is removed the application will be deployed successfully.
    • I created a member of different account in a separate part of the hierarchy, with the same properties of Member exactly like his brothers and sisters and get the same "unknown error."

The same error occurs when you try to add a new Member, not just a new account.

The associated transaction log deployment has failed is below:

  • Deployment error when I deploy my application world Hello to device of BB curve 8900

I am facing deployment error while I deply to device Iam using the version of the sdk webworks: BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.3.1.5

IAM using the webworks said above, windows 8 64-bit system, when I deploy it in the Simulator for other versions I see global demand for Hello in the emulator to ripple, but when I try to look for 8900 device that is not listed in the webworks platform why is it so?

My camera works with OS 4.6.1, then how to deploy my application world Hello to this device of curve 8900?
If the JDE or jre must be downgraded on 4.6.1 how? I need to change my environment variable

Someone in a pile on flow said like that. "

You as a developer WebWorks don't treat BrowserField instance, but your app to launch and work, needs this new implementation of the BrowserField class that supports the required functionality.

Software more former device does not support the feature that provides new BrowserField. And as a result, it is not possible to launch WebWorks applications on older devices OS-es to 5.0.
"So do I need higher version OS to run my application helloworld on my device.

SDK BlackBerry WebWorks 2.3.1.5 has a requirement of BlackBerry OS 5.0 because of the new BrowserField object (which has been introduced in BBOS 5.0 that you noted.) You will not be able to deploy a WebWorks to any device that runs a pre - 5.0 operating system.

I don't think that you would be able to update the library in the 'SaaS Extension' of JCS version and the version of JDeveloper using must be 11.1.1.7.1. He has however separated 'Service of Cloud Computing Java' that gives you complete control over the WLS...

  • "JNDI name is already in use" error when deploying ADF Application after the deployment of Interface of AM Service

    Hello

    12.1.3 JDeveloper / WLS 12.1.3 / Windows 7 64-bit OS.

I am facing the problem that is mentioned in the following post.

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2284290

I created a simple ADF page with the data to display in the Employees table. The page works fine.

I added a custom method to the AM and a profile of "Business Service Interface components" deployment of the AOS.

When I'm trying to deploy the stand-alone WLS Service, it gives the error below.

If I deploy only the AM Service interface, the web service deployment is going very well.

If I cancel the deployment of the AM Service and deploy ADF EAR, then it also works very well.

But if I deploy the AM Service and then try to deploy the EAR, then it gives the error below.

And vice versa, if I deploy EAR application, and then deploy the AM service, it gives the error below.

It was working fine until 11.1.1.7.

I have done this repeatedly for a long time and wasn't any problem in 11.1.1.7 deployments.

If something has changed in 12.1.3?

Even if the AM Service is existing, it is deployed in the same application, it should be able to just crush?

Here are the results with different versions

11.1.1.7 - domain of the ADF - Standalone Server - works fine

11.1.1.7 - SOA - Standalone Server - domain works very well

    12.1.3 - error field - integrated WLS - ADF

    12.1.3 - error field - independent server - SOA

(The foregoing analysis is based on a simple project ADF as a point of Contact for that matter).

    Real-world scenario

    --------------------

We need this because ours is a BPM Application and the Composite depends on the AM Service, so the AM service must first deployed in the field of the SOA.

Then, we make the process as well as the ADF UI for task forms. ADF project depends also on the model project

We get the error during the deployment of the BPM project and the ADF UI project below.

    Error

    -----

Unable to deploy EJB: ModelEJB.jar model.common.HRAMServiceBean:

You must assign another name JNDI in weblogic-ejb-jar deployment descriptor. XML or annotation corresponding to this EJB before it can be deployed.

[12: 02:07] caused by: java.lang.Throwable: substituted for the missing class [EJB - 11055] the EJB deployment error ' model.common.HRAMServiceBean (Application: employees, EJBComponent: ModelEJB.jar)', the JNDI name "HRAMServiceBean #model.common.serviceinterface.HRAMService" is already in use. Thanks for any help

    Sameer

Found a workaround for this problem.

I don't have to do this in 11.1.1.7 well!

You don't know if it's the right solution or not!

If anyone of you knows a better solution, please share.

I did the 2 following things.

    a. classes of the AM Service Interface of removed files from deployment profile filters

    ViewController project-> properties-> deployment profile--> filegroups--> WEB - INF / classes-> filters

    : Uncheck * Service *. * files (4 - Service.class, Service.wsdl, Service.xsd, ServiceImpl.class)

    b. deleted the deployment profile of library jar ADF for the model project

    Model project-> properties-> deployment

: Remove the deployment of ADF library jar files profile

And now I am able to deploy time interface AM Service and application.

It works for me because I won't need to deploy the AM Service interface again while deploying the process / code of the ADF.

Since I will deploy the Service Interface of first Business components separately.

    Thanks and greetings
