Deployment of CC on static Image (WDS)

We are an educational institution with the full range of CC material. Since the complete suite takes about an hour to install, I want to include the software on an image for the computer lab that are supposed to have the software installed rather than installing individually on each computer. We use Windows Deployment Services and a PXE boot for imaging, do basically the same as question: creative cloud deployment with WDS image

However, for this question and others, like it (e.g., CC of deployment in the Symantec Ghost images , Re: build CS5 Production Premium in the base lab image , good way to install creative, cloud education, device to a master Image license ), the answer always seems to be a link to the documentation of APTEE (CC help |) Using Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition ) without further explanation.

So, my question is how exactly APTEE is part of a deployment diagram that uses static images to fix software in the image rather than something like MDT to stop software on top a base image after the fact (for example, always use conditioner creative cloud? When/where do you run APTEE? What is the result of the APTEE command with the option - stream parameter?). Perhaps alisterblack, which seems to be pointing to APTEE for this kind of scenario, can comment directly?

Thank you!

If I would not create a device license package, but just a package named regular user. It's just a package with no rights attached (via the serial number or license instrument) and deploy as.

Then use the function create licenses to create a license unit and after the image is deployed, run the license on the required computers.

  • Static images missing after upgrade

    Hi all:

    I just upgraded APEX of 4.0 to 5.0.  All right, except that static images are not displayed.  In other words, any image that I downloaded (not related to any application, but #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #) are not displayed.

    Pointers on this?

    Aqua

    Hello

    no need to do so immediately. But in the long term, you should consider it.

    You will find a chapter of support enable static file in the installation of EPG guide too. Basically, you always need to run apex_epg_config.sql. In previous versions, you used apxdlim.sql to download the new apex images directory.

    Hello world

    This is my first time using Muse and I gotta real to get a photography website up and running so forgive me if the question I ask here is pretty basic.

    I love the Design of starter of exposure, but I don't want a slide show, just a static color background with text or a static image showing the size of the screen. How do I do that?

    I'm really at home with the help of Adobe Illustrator but almost never used InDesign and so I find my feet slowly with Muse. I followed the tutorials Terry White on YouTube, but if someone is kind enough by pointing me in the right direction, that would be great thank you

    Hi Hsalim,

    You can simply delete the slide show and instead he draws a rectangle and fill the same rectangle with any image of your choice.

    later, you can set this picture as "stretch to the width of the browser.

  • Menu with video instead of the static image buttons?

    Hello.

    Working on my first still project and I have pretty much done. Just have a question about the menu buttons.

    Is it possible to have show a short, repeating the clip of the associated chapter or are we stuck with static image?

    I know that we have a video clip as a background for the whole menu, but I wonder about the buttons themselves.

    Thank you.

    They are called "animated vignettes." You can set the framework from the beginning (the poster frame). The buttons have special features. Almost all menus "submenu" called library have this features and show you the button layer prefix.

  • See the static Image, then Play F4V file

    Hi, I tried to follow the instructions in the following of discussion http://forums.adobe.com/message/2057441 but without success.

    I'm doing it too, only with a static image at the beginning and then to play the flv file:

    Here's where I am right now:

    In the FLA in Flash CS4

    Have the FLVPlayback component and FLVPlaybackCaptioning component (with associated .xml file) more the component button legend inserted and all work fine.

    At this stage have made the video with the controls of the background layer on the timeline.  Name of the FLVPlayback component instance is vid.

    Next layer is the still image as a graphic symbol.

    Top layer is the layer actions.

    On the actions of layer I place the code as indicated in the previous answer, before you twisted for two videos:

    I get compiler errors five, which I have attached a screenshot in jpg format.  I am very new, understand the code, but not AS code.

    Thank you in advance for your help!

    The code used is the following:

    startBtn.onRelease = function() {}
    Make sure that your video has an instance name of vid
    and it is NOT set to AutoPlay.
    VID. Play();
    This ._alpha = 0;
    };
    var listenerObject:Object = new Object();
    listenerObject.stopped = {function (eventObject)}
    startBtn._alpha = 100;
    };
    vid.addEventListener ("stopped", listenerObject);

    listenerObject.playing = {function (eventObject)}
    startBtn._alpha = 0;
    Or you can use startBtn._visible = false
    }

    vid.addEventListener ("playing", listenerObject);

    Here's the AS3 script:

    Import fl.video.VideoEvent;

    function doPlayVid(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    VID. Play();

    This.Alpha = 0;

    }

    function doStopped(e:VideoEvent):void {}

    startBtn.alpha = 1;

    }

    function doPlaying(e:VideoEvent):void {}

    startBtn.alpha = 0;

    }

    startBtn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, doPlayVid);

    vid.addEventListener (VideoEvent.STOPPED_STATE_ENTERED, doStopped);

    vid.addEventListener (VideoEvent.PLAYING_STATE_ENTERED, doPlaying);

  • After the deployment of a Windows 7 image, pc does not start after Windows logo

    Hello

    I tried to install a laptop via a Windows Image. After that I deployed the image, the laptop does not start past the Windows logo. Normally I had to change the SATA AHCI setting to solve this problem, but he was already on AHCI.

    I tried to install it via a Windows 7 installation CD and it works, but I want to fix the laptop / image to work on this laptop.

    The logo of Windows get stuck, then I get a blue screen very quickly and it restarts. Also when I try to start in safe mode, it's the same thing. loading everything, then it gets stuck and also a really fast blue screen and reboot.

    Someone at - it an idea may be what the problem?

    BR,

    Jim

    I did restore by image much, many times without ever a problem.

    • I only use the integrated Windows 7 image creating installation
    • I only use a DVD + R White, never-r
    • I create the image ONLY on install brand new to be absolutely certain, there is no corruption

    I've heard of this kind of problem does not happen when the image was made from a damaged disc.  Which simply transfers the corruption.

  • Best way to hide the writing on a fixed object in static images (tripod)?

    I have a sequence of two cameras multicam, a cam is a wide shot, the other cam is close to the top. All images taken on a tripod, so the camera shots are all static. In the images captured by each cam, there is a stationary object on a table in the background who wrote about what I want to delete. In the images captured by each cam, there are simple movement (a person moving slowly) that sometimes goes in front of the object I want to remove the writings. I obviously don't want to apply effects to the area occupied by the object, when this request before the object is in progress.

    I know how to capture an image of every angle of cam and use Photoshop to create the object with hidden text. I think it would be the first step, after which I needed to somehow replace the stationary object sheets without the part surrounding the background as well as the motion when it passes in front of the affected object. So it seems I need a cache for things of mask so visible only parts of the object are assigned to reveal the the text clipping.

    Research here and online, the best option I've seen so far is the after effects Roto brush. After effects Roto brushing the best avenue here, or is there a function that will start at least by auto-Roto'ing for me based on a movement in front of a selected area, the object I hide? (I can't find the feature of the latter).

    Hey there. what you are doing here with the first? It is strictly a matter of Ae aka Compositing and not editing or simple masking. Could show you the two shots, or at least a part of them? a picture is worth a thousand words and a video is worth more than tens of thousands of words.

  • Inserting a layer of static images in Pocket video

    Hello

    I am new to AE.

    I am changing a doc sequence where the subject is moving and talking into the night in a relatively well-lit urban environment.

    It is fellowed profile by a pocket camera - full frame, 4K.

    Question: What would be the best way to insert images in backgrounod, so that they remain static, as it transmits by - as an ad on a wall or a lamp post. It must be inserted in the post.

    There is one more chance sequences filmed soon. Is there something to do during the filming in order to insert these images in a message - add green markers in the background at the location, for example?

    Thank you very much

    16mm

    Here are some elements to consider when planning add items to hand held footage. I will list in the order that I consider as many things when I'm planning VFX shots. I did this kind of thing for more than 40 years and it works pretty well for me.

    1. Planning the movement of the camera so that there are a lot of fixed geometry in the scene to follow (you can't keep anything in a shot of the ocean with the surf to rush in or a shot of a sidewalk full of people shot with a telephoto lens)
    2. Keep the camera as still as possible
    3. Shoot at a higher level than the standard frame rate if it is possible to obtain more information to follow (59.94 preferable plus 29.97 which is worth much more than 24 or 23.976)
    4. If your camera has rolling shutter problems and most consumer and prosumer cameras, do everything you can to minimize the
    5. Manage lens distortions using lenses or lenses that do not distort the edges of your frame
    6. Avoid camera movements jerky which introduces motion blur

    Follow these six rules for the use of the camera and you'll have a pretty good chance to snatch successfully track.

    Now let's talk about the composition. It's more on the concepts of a list of rules.

    First concept: If you have a mobile camera and you want to insert flat elements in the scene to attach to an object in the scene to try and get this object quite near the place of the unit at least once in the shot. For example, you have a picture on a wall the actor goes in front and you want to replace the image. You should frame this one if you get a complete view of the image at some point in the shot and it is close enough to the camera room. You can correct perspectives using tools such as corners, but if the paint is at an angle of 60 ° to the camera and more it's going to be difficult to get a good lead. It is important that you pay attention to the perspective of the scene and the evolution of this point of view as the camera movements.

    Second concept: If you are going to have to separate something of the background, like your player to walk, you must be aware of the background behind the actor. It is the simplest and it is different from that of the actor skin, hair and color of clothing more it will be easy to separate the actor from the background. The techniques that you will use are rotoscoping or procedural mattes generated from the color channels (chroma).

    If you plan to insert 3D objects in the scene that interact with the actor or the game you must put enough elements of fixed geometry in the scene for the camera Tracker calculate the chance in perspective and parallax. If your shot framed the actor in 70% of the image, and he walks around a neighborhood with cars parked with reflections in the windows, followed by traffic carried in the street and people on the sidewalk, moving in all directions, it is going to be very difficult to find enough detail in the shot to get a good camera. The simpler the better shot for camera monitoring.

    I could go on and write several chapters of a book on how establish and put in place this kind of effects shots, but it will help you get started.

    When you get your film into the post office, you must first make a rough picture edit so that you do not spend any time working on images that you do not use. A few images at each end of the shooting (handles) are OK but followed by a 2 minute which was hand held shooting where you actor walk half a block is a crazy race. If there are 200 frames in the middle of this show where you want your player to pass something that put you in the scene, then you cut the blow to those 200 frames work on it, then cut back to the original shooting.

    Once you get a hang of Garni you know what kind of follow-up work best for things that you want to insert. If you insert flat elements as a substitute a sign then angle pin followed by AE or Mocha is probably more effective. If you do a lot of rotoscoping too separate the actor from the background so that you can insert something behind him, then you might want to stabilize (Warp not stabilize, it's another thing entirely) the shot. Means that you lock a part of shooting in this position, so it does not move to make it easier to work on stabilization. Can do you the roto, add elements, then remove the stabilization of the shot he and apply the effects and the work of roto.

    If you want to insert a 3D object in the scene, then you must trail camera Board. I've done several shots of shots where I stabilize the shooting to make roto, back the motion motion on the game, then camera follow and add my 3D elements in the shot and use the roto as hiding approach for the 3D element.

    There are a lot of tutorials on the web that show how to use these techniques. If you type track or stabilize or camera track or track in mocha in the search field help in the upper right corner of the AE you will be directed to a good amount of community resources that will help get started. Without actually seeing the shot you want to take, it is difficult to exactly point you in the right direction. If I was teaching these techniques in a class, I expect to spend at least a few days of class time goes on how to put in place and pull the shot, and then the rest of the week would be spent on the basics of tracking and roto and masking. Then, a day or etc., adding shadows color correction and the rest things you need to do to sell this kind of VFX shot.

    If it were my project I would budget about 2 hours for each sequence of 20 seconds where the actor passed a CGI element.

    The best way to start is to just fire a few shots with your phone and try some of the different monitoring techniques. Try inserting just a simple text layer or a solid. For example, here's a very quick test shot showing how adding text to a wall using the camera Tracker and use a solid 3D as a track matte for the text. Sorry, there is no audio data.

    Here is another addition to a puppet of C4D in a camera track scene.

    Two struggling with my phone to use as a very quick demo for a class I was teaching.

    Yes, the next is the minimum version of Flash Player, and the last is the Flash
