  Please make sure that the auto power off feature is not turned on. As when it is off, you manually turn on the printer after 2 hours.

  And Yes, the power cord / are correct, not the wall outlet is not broken, yes its properly plugged into the wall outlet and the back of the printer lol

• DeskJet 3512: Unable to connect to the network

  I have a Mac, iPad, and iPhone. My husband has an iPad and we just got him an iPhone today. When we tried to connect his phone to the router, we forgot the password. I had to reset the password and then managed to get all 5 devices connected.

  The problem is the Deskjet 3512. Wireless light both blink light eprint. I tried to remove the security on the router, and I was able to print. But when I handed the security WPA - PSK I couldn't print. I had this happen once before and was read to reconnect, but this time I tried everything I could think of and everything I read and nothing has worked so far.

  Any suggestion?

  FYI - I am 74 years old and have some experience with computers, etc. but I've eaten an age when I want things to work. Please keep that in mind when offering suggestions. Please keep simple and no baby...

  I ended up buying a new printer. No problem getting it to connect.

  With my old service, my deskjet 3512 connected to my wifi via a gateway router, and everything was happy. With my new service in a new State, the arris modem would not accept the gateway router and so I have no WPS button and the modem has no USB port. Also, since my computer alone is a Chromebook, I can't download the drivers or change the configuration of the printer via PC or Mac.

  I appreciate that you try to connect the all-in-one printer Deskjet 3512 to your network using your Chromebook. I can help you with that.

  Here's how we're going to connect the printer to the network:

  1. On the hand of the printer, screen scroll to settings and press OK.
  2. Scroll up to wireless and press OK.
  3. Scroll to Direct wireless and press OK.
  4. Scroll to the bottom for on (No Security), and then press OK.
  5. On your Chromebook under networks, you should see an option appear with a name similar to the HP Print XX Deskjet 3510. To connect to this network.
  6. In your address bar type 192.168.223.1 and press to enter.
  7. Click the network tab.
  8. On the left hand side under network, you should see an option for the wireless configuration wizard.
  9. Run the Wireless Setup Wizard to add your printer to your network.

  After that, the printer must be connected and you should be able to print. Please let me know if this resolves your problems or if you have any other questions. If not, have a great day!

  I had to get a new router (Verizon Actiontec MI424WR Rev. I).

  The ESSID network will not appear in the list and still can't find when is entered manually.

  Wireless network test results: > network - network name (SSID Found) = FAIL

  A HP driver & software update without modification.

  Printer works fine through a USB connection.

  Router works fine with other devices.

  Solved the problem!

  Router had to close to the printer.

  Not had this problem with the old router.

  I have a HP Deskjet 3512, which worked perfectly until a few days and suddenly it's gone offline.  I have a laptop Asus Windows 7 64 bit.

  When I initially purchased this printer, I got the wrong becomes it connected wireless and called HP and they were able to connect to it.   It worked wireless since then.

  It was perfect until a couple of days.  All of a sudden he went offline, and I have not been able to remedy.  I tried to reinstall the software, download new driver with no luck.

  I can connect via USB and have it printed, but I really need to print wireless.  Nothing to do with the router changed, tried to turn the power off and back, even with the printer with no luck.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

  When you have the problem, wireless light blue on front, active status, disabled or flashing?  You have a valid IP address in the printer?  The router sees the printers IP?  What did you do to solve the problem... go to your support page and followed all the troubleshooting tips?

• HP Deskjet 3512 panel buttons not working not

  I have just very this printer yesterday and everything seems to work properly. The test print, then scan worked with out a problem. Now, today, I tried to check on something and when I was using the control panel buttons, the back button and the up botton do not seem to work. I tried all the other buttons and they are fine. I also tried unplugging the impression, then pluging it back. The problem has not disappeared.

  UPDATE - the printer is not 3512 3510 posted previously.

  As mentioned previously, this printer was purchased on Sunday (03/31/2013).  The printer comes with a factory warranty 1 year.  I would advise to call the HP Technical Support about this printer due to the problem that you are experiencing.

  If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it and she is treated, it will give you the printers warranty information, a file number and the phone number to call.

  I had been using a HotSpot to connect with the printer - now cancelled hotspot and back to USB connection.

  Priner will print 1 document, then send a cannot connect error.   Allows you to cancel the document.

  It seems that the computer sends the document twice? and leaving an impression and the second get error.

  If you miss the error message (cover, etc.), it does not print the following document.

  I rebooted the computer, deleted all of the HP software and reinstalled the HP software.

  I have summer/am hoping to be able to set up so that my wife could print 'Wireless' so that I could maintain the ability to print from my desktop. Now, I see that I must "move" backwards?

  Is there a way that it can be placed on my desktop USB while allowing it to print from the laptop, whenever she needs?

  Connect your via USB, install the printer.  connect wirelessly to the woman, the printer and wireless.  Should work just fine.

  I recently had to restore and set up my existing router and today is the first time I tried to use the printer. I went through the installation of HP using installation downloaded from HP. He leans on the printer that the printer is connected to my wireless network, has a donkey IP address that the WIFI light is on and solid.

  I can't find the printer from any device, including the Windows 10 system that I used to install as well as mobile devices. All of this worked before and nothing has changed except that I restored and reconfigure my router.

  Is it possible that your router is a double router broadband? I ask because I wonder if since the restoration of the router, maybe you had disabled with the 5.0 GHz and now that it is restored the 5.0 is reactivated. Given that your printer works well, it doesn't have a valid IP address now, I suspect that the problem there is something to do with the router. HP printers operates on the frequency of 2.5 GHz only, so my initial request.  There are certainly many other good factors.

  You should be able to print with just the black cartridge installed.

  Here a link to the manual. On page 30 in details how to use mode single-cartridge to operate your printer using only a single print cartridge.

  My HP3512 is connected as a wireless printer and works very well in my PC. It allows to print very well of my IPad and am not sure when it stopped working, but today the IPAD says that "no airprint printer can't find" the two ipad and the printer are on the same wireless network and I tried to restart the Ipad, printer and router without success. Advice on checking to ensure HP airprint status is on or good? IPad's IOS 8.1.2

  In the print on a Wireless Network with Apple AirPrint FAQs document is a section entitled "what should I do if you see a"No AirPrint Printers Found"message on my Apple device?'.»» There the troubleshooting steps that you want to print again.
