  Hi, I tried to connect my laptop (Windows 8.1-64-bit) on my printer (HP Deskjet 1050 all-in-One J410 series).  I tried to install the printer using the CD that came with it, but it shows a message "not compatible with this operating system". After reviewing previous questions here, I tried to download the software driver for this printer. None of these files have no effect with some presenting a message saying that the device must already be installed on the laptop for it to open. Anyone able to help?

  Try to install the software manually and check to see if that can help you:

  First, fix the permissions of the drive to avoid any possible problem:

  1. open the Applications folder.
  2. go to the Utilities folder.
  3. double-click on disk utility.
  4 Select the hard disk that contains the boot volume.
  5. go to the first aid tab and select Repair disk permissions.
  Note: This process may take several minutes depending on the Mac and the amount of the permissions that need to be repaired. The progress log shows when the process was completed.

• Can not install the app on iPad because of the new iPad software (?)

  Hi, we have created a portfolio using InDesign CC and built the app with the DPS App Builder Version 2.9.0 which we updated January 13, 2014.

  We have created an App ID for this app and created and used the mobileprovision developer and the mobileprovision of Distribution that we generated for this application. We also made sure that the these included mobileprovisions the features that we wanted to test the app in. We were then able to create the file API, which has been placed on the desktop.

  The problem is that we cannot test the app in our iPad, even if we created a similar application and tested on our iPad last year.  Whenever we add the ipa/app library via iTunes, he always says "app [insert the app name] was not installed on the iPad [insert the name iPad] because it requires a newer version of the software for the iPad."

  The software of the iPad we have is iOS version 5.1.1 and it is said that the iPad software is up-to-date. The model is also MB294LL (if this is useful at all). I guess this is one of the earlier iPads, otherwise one earlier. Also our Digital Publishing Suite is the only edition.

  DPS supports most iOS 5. You must have a device running iOS 6 or later.

  The CD that came in the box is not intended for Lion mountain as the printer was made before the release of the OS.

• With regard to the Epson V300 scanner. I installed the current version software driver successfully. It works fine until I turned off the computer. After the reboot, the scanner is not recognized and driver not found.

  On the page of 'Uninstall and change of program' of the computer, the Epson Scan icon with a red arrow on it.   In addition, elevated Epson Support found no problem.   The shop obviously does not use your recovery disks to install Windows on the new drive. I had suspected that when you said that none of the original software has been installed. Recovery Manager also would have been installed.

  I would go back to the shop, with the recovery discs in hand and ask that they make a correct installation, or do the installation yourself. Put the first disk in the CD/DVD drive, and then restart the laptop. If you get a prompt to hit any key to boot from the CD/DVD, press the space bar.

I downloaded the drivers and software from HP. When it runs, it starts very well. For some reason, it isn't detecting my printer. After you select how the printer is connected to the computer and the connection at the same time the software tries to finish, but he comes up with an error and says it cannot complete the installation. I am able to install the drivers, but when I try to install the drivers and software is when the error appears. How can I fix? It would be nice to use the wizard for printer hp again.

  I found the solution to my problem. Before I could install the software and drivers for my printer that I had to remove completely all the software and the printer driver. Here's what I used to delete the printer driver. Restarting my PC after removing the printer driver has been the most important step. Everything works fine now.
