  I wonder if someone can help me please, I tried to work backwards (from my ink) to find a printer for my office with no luck and am at my wits end. I got a HP PSC (printer/scanner/copier) when I got my HP desktop computer, but then I upgraded to my current Dell a few years before and never hang upward my printer I have he didn't need right now. He uses ink (black & tricolor) #21 & #22 cartridges so now I'm trying to find a printer that is not only compatible with my Dell but that also uses the full/new ink cartridges I have. I'd appreciate any help someone can offer, I can't afford to just buy a new printer on the site for those who work are fine, I just need to get an idea of who will work so then I know what I can get.   Looks like my first answer was a bit premature :(  Unfortunately, the test page was going well, but when I tried to print a Word document with a jpeg it came out weird.  The photo printed several times on the page and in various combinations of colours, shades of blue to shades of yellow!  My printer is in fact a 3300 and I installed the 3600 series I'm sure that's where things went cross-roads.   Can you help me solve this problem?

  I would like to buy a new printer that is supported under Windows 8 by its manufacturer.  In view of the possible age of this printer (6 to 7 years possible) and how long the latest drivers were released for it by the manufacturer (March 2010) - it would be cheaper and less frustrating in the long run (and probably in the short term) to buy another cheap, which may equal or faster and perhaps more efficient replacement.

  Some of the main issues are:

  -The HDMI does not work, or ports USB on the right side of the computer works, but the left did.

  -I can't watch videos for work in class, even if it could be the site itself, I know that a lot of people have problems with our universities online capabilities.

  -When I open something like Solitaire I get a message saying ' hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow down the performance of the game. " Make sure that you have the latest driver installed video card, and that hardware acceleration is turned on. »

  Sorry, it took so long for me to get back to you, my computer has been... Well, she's been through things to say the least.

  Unfortunately, those said drivers did not work, but however, I found a solution.

  HP support didn't help either and actually ended up put me in a worse situation that I started taking my system remote access, and then start a factory reset which left me with zero work drivers and without operation of the NICs can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable.

  Anyway, one of my friends found a way to make a free recovery for Windows 8 USB. All you need is a USB key with at least 6 GB that you are willing to completely remove, or is already empty.

  For all those who may run into problems, that's all I know, and I'm sorry, but I'm not an expert:

  I created the recovery drive and installed it, and everything worked perfectly. No access code required because with computers pre-installed with Windows 8, your access code is built into the BIOS. If you use a hard drive with Windows 7 on a laptop Windows 8, first make sure that your BIOS has 'Legacy Mode' active, even after the installation of Windows 8 by following the steps in the link above. That's as far as I know and what I did, and it works perfectly.
