  • ALT + scroll = zoom mouse?

    Plans to implement the classic alt + scroll zoom in later versions? I find it very painful to have to constantly do it manually when you are working on details.

    Otherwise, congratulations for a pretty sweet application.

    Hey, H4wkins -.

    Another thing you can do is scrolling the hot text of zoom on the stage.  Up and down on the scroll wheel is expected to increase by 1%, and now shift is expected to increase by 10%.

    Hope that helps!

  • Illustrator CC - Trackpad alt + scroll does not work.

    So there happen to be one who draws on a macbook pro without a mouse. This morning I installed Illustrator CC and discovered that scrolling with two fingers up and down while holding the alt key is no longer zoom in and out. There is a new feature where you can pinch to zoom, but this won't cut it for me. So my question is: can I re - enable alt + scroll = zoom for the trackpad? Is this a bug or did they intentially fall this feature. I checked Photoshop CC and alt + scrolling works great for Zoom.

    I contacted Adobe support to try to find the answers to my questions... no help. Finally, I learned that my trackpad was the problem, but I assure the person that I am running the CC and CS6 and my trackpad isn't the problem.

    Anyone else having the same problem? Know any fix?

    Thank you

  • ALT + scroll stop do not work since being updated for firefox 17.0

    Usually, I use a single line of Alt + mouse scroll to scrolling in firefox, but updated for firefox 17.0, it works no more, even in safe mode.

    Hello pikashi, the scrolling behavior has been overhauled in firefox 17 (for technical reference information see https://wiki.mozilla.org/Gecko:Mouse_Wheel_Scrolling).

    It must still be possible to define a frame rate different when you press the ALT key you can enter Subject: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears), search preferences starting with mousewheel.with_alt.delta_multiplier_ ..., you can double-click on these parameters and assign a different value to - then a restart of firefox is required for the changed settings take place in the browser.

    I don't know exactly how they work, but for example by defining all 33 instead of 100, the scrolling speed is greatly reduced. You can play around a bit to find the ideal values which correspond to your needs...

  • Cannot detect alt - t keypress on Simulator 8900

    I have the following code in my application which is designed to intercept a 't' keypress alt in order to scroll a listField to the top of the list, but I can't make it work.
    When you debug the character that I get is a ' (' instead of the letter 't'.)
    Did anyone see something wrong with the following code snippet?

    {} public boolean keyChar (char c, int status, int time)
    Switch (c) {}
    ' case ' t ':
    this case never gets stuck, so I added it in the default case for debugging
    If ((status & KeypadListener.STATUS_ALT) == 1)
    scroll (Manager.TOPMOST);
    Returns true;
    }

    by default:
    If (c 'is t') {}
    If (status & KeypadListener.STATUS_ALT) == 1) {}
    scroll (Manager.TOPMOST);
    Returns true;
    }
    }
    }
    }

    Thank you.

    I understood this thank you. I've only worked on a storm before that and I didn't look to see that key alt t pressure is in fact a ' (' on the 8900 keyboard.)

  • How to make Illustrator mouse alt-scroll zoom?

    I recently updated my mac to Yosemite and now when I open Illustrator the scroll of the mouse-alt to zoom disappeared. Does anyone know how to get it back?

    reddencn,

    I think that the good order/way is to update the operating system, and then reinstall the applications. Which was how you did it?

    You may also need to update the drivers (Wacom and others).

  • Is it possible to detect alt + click or cmd-click on a button of the custom panel?

    In order to screen real estate I want to bind two controls similar to a single button that can be alt - or cmd-clicked on for a different result.

    I know the ScriptUI offers a few options but I'm looking for a way to handle it in the Panel itself without a pop - up.

    I would like to know if it is possible to detect a modifier in a click event in the Panel and, if possible, how to manage it.

    Thanks for any idea of the situation.

    Kind regards

    Patrick Demange

    It is not known if Patrick was asked about a ScriptUI dialog box or a real HTML Board - but I think there is a large grey area where it is difficult to tell apart Photoshop scripts, general ExtendScript, panels, etc., and it is natural (possibly as profitable) for subjects to toss.

    In addition to what was suggested for ScriptUI correctly by c.pfaffenbichler, you can have a look here for panels: MouseEvent altKey property.

    Kind regards

  • ALT/scrolling problem?

    I have a strange problem, I wonder if anyone else has seen this:

    Load up to 2 different documents in Photoshop.

    Now select ' window/rearrange/2-up Vertical. 2 documents should show on screen, side-by-side. Zoom in on the two documents, enough close so that scroll bars appear on the bottom and sides of each document.

    Select the Brush tool and just randomly start painting on the document that is located on half right side of the screen. Now, hold the ALT key to pick a color and hold down the left key as well.

    With ALT and the left still maintained key, move the cursor on the document on the left side of the screen.

    At this point, my document on the right begins to scroll horizontally - and it's INCREDIBLY aggrivating!

    Everyone comes through this? Please check for those who...

    This isn't a bug; It's normal. Because you're actively sample a color, Photoshop is assuming you want to sample a color from the active document, moved the document to take into account.

    You would just let go of the mouse but always press Alt to sample from another source.

    KeyCode is a bit model, if you use "is" to compare you won't get accurate results, you should use the operator '& '.

  • BUG: Alt + stop scroll Zoom with monitor 4K Windows

    Monitors Windows 8.1 with 4K users and have Windows' upscaling activated, please let me know if you can reproduce in the comments! If you have a Mac, you can try to reproduce too, to see if it's just a Windows thing.

    I recently install a monitor of 28 "4K for my Windows machine and upgraded to Windows 8.1, because it has better follow independent scaling. I also still have a screen 1920 x 1080. (I do not recommend this configuration and Windows 8.1 does not handle it well.) But that's another story)

    Premiere Pro is up to date: 2014.2 version: v8.1, caravan

    By default, Windows has this slider set to the recommended average setting:

    display_scaling.png

    It upscale almost seen everything in Windows, including a Premiere Pro interface.

    There is a problem: while placing the cursor on my calendar, hold down the ALT key and my mouse wheel scrolling is not zoom properly. He zooms in, but the location in that zoomed in is incorrect.

    Here's how Alt + scroll to zoom usually works:

    -where your cursor is where zoom you. If the cursor is positioned on the CTI, you zoom with centric ICT. If your cursor is at the level of the 2-minute mark, when alt-scroll to zoom in, the 2 minute mark will be centered in the timeline panel.

    With Windows 8 scaling of the market, math that anime centering algorithm of Alt + scroll are completely overwhelmed! It is difficult to describe in words, so here's a chart that shows exactly what happens when I place my cursor over the red spots and try alt + scroll:

    cursor_zoom_not_working.png

    If the software worked as expected, red & yellow arrows ecaple eachother, because your zoom must be placed right where the cursor is.

    It drives me crazy, I pressed Alt + stop scroll method to zoom. Zoom tool and the keys +/-are not enough; granular and resizing of the horizontal scroll bar is a more recent addition to the first that I didn't need to use immediately, such as alt + scroll stop worked very well for me until the upgrade to 4K.

    Now, I considered my second 1080 p monitor might have added to the math problems, as it has a different amount of the scale applied on it, but I've completely disabled the second monitor and performed tests and had the same bug, so the chances of my second monitor having an effect on this bug are incredibly thin.

    Of course there are solutions:

    • Tour Windows DPI scaling. Fixed the problem instantly, but everything is really tiny on the screen and is not really recommended
    • Do not use the Alt + stop scroll method to zoom.

    I guess it's only a bug in Windows, but if anyone wants to test this on a Mac with a Retina display, which would be useful!

    Can anyone else reproduce this bug? If so, can be bug reports to ensure that the message is in any of the files? I've heard of the brand that it is the best way to ensure that the first team takes a serious problem. If a bug is reported only by a single user, there is a chance that very few users encounter the problem, and they will not give priority to a solution.

    Hi Tim,.

    First of all, I'm sorry that you are affected by this frustrating issue. If I understand your question, it's a problem only Windows and it does not occur on Mac.

    Tim K says:

    Right. It is not currently recommended to the scale of your display beyond 100% with Adobe digital video applications and Windows 8.1. This can be problematic for wider screens, like the one you mention. If I understand correctly, we work with our partners of Microsoft to correct some of these anomalies, but in the meantime, we have resolved issues UI that makes a few items too small to read in some panels.

    Tim K says:

    Premiere Pro is up to date: 2014.2 version: v8.1, caravan

    In fact, there is conflicting info. While the current version is (first Pro CC) 2014.2, you say you have 8.1 caravan, which is not common. Who says you can have the October version installed and have not yet fully updated your application to 8.2, the release of December. The version of December is those with a few corrections of the user interface on the type unreadable in some panels.

    The only other suggestion I can offer is to change the font size, the Group of project items in the Panel menu. Helps me to see the elements of the list view much more easily.

    Please file a bug report, so that we can add your details to our database.

    Thank you

  • How can I use EventInjector.TrackwheelEvent to scroll to the right and left?

    I need to simulate a right wheel and a wheel left action.

    I used to scroll up and down the following successfully:

    EventInjector.TrackwheelEvent.THUMB_ROLL_UP

    EventInjector.TrackwheelEvent.THUMB_ROLL_DOWN

    Any ideas?

    On devices on the wheel, by using Alt + scroll is used by many applications for the movement of left and right.

    If you target trackball devices, you can navigate in all directions by injecting an EventInjector.NavigationEvent event.

  • ALT + mouse wheel to zoom (alt windows key 7)

    Hello Photoshop,

    I use CS6 on windows 7-64 bit with a keyboard and a mouse.  I have a problem with the default functionality of the 'Alt' key in windows 7.  For those of you who are familiar with the default functionality of the alt key in windows 7, go to the next paragraph.  For those of you unfamiliar, pressing the ALT key in most programs in windows will highlight the toolbar so that you can use the keyboard to make a selection in your 'file', 'Edit', 'View', toolbars etc. If your mouse goes dead.

    My problem is that I use the Alt + scrolling the mouse to zoom in all the time.  I rely on this feature, probably more than I should.  Yes, I use Ctrl + or cntrl - for zoom, but that means that I have to take my right hand out of my mouse and I use photoshop 8 + hours some days.  Time is essential to complete projects on time.

    So has anyone found solutions to this?  I tried to disable the service by default alt in windows 7 (it did not because you can not without third pary openware).  I tried to reproduce the shortcut in the Edit - menu keyboard shortcuts (did not work because he does not recognize the mouse scrolling).  Am I missing something?  Any help would be appreciated because I'm tired of having to reselct my fonts when the alt key turns my focus of the workspace toolbar.

    Thank you!

    -Dave

    If you select Zoom with scroll wheel in Edit > Preferences > General, then you can simply use the scroll on the mouse for zoom wheel without pressing any other key.

    Or you might rather than the preference above press both the Ctrl + Alt, which prevents the highlighting from the menu bar
