  I extended a BitmapField that when it is displayed on the screen is running a Thread internally in order to upload an image from a web server and then display it on the BitmapField. During the download of the Thread, it shows a dummy Bitmap.

  I am now the list 15 images on a screen in a VerticalFieldManager, and as soon as the application starts, 15 thread starts to download each image.

  When I run the application on the Simulator, with WiFi, all the images always get downloaded without problem all the time but when I run it on the device, sometimes the images are downloaded and sometimes some of them are not downloaded due to a "General socket error" (it is said the message of the Exception).

  This behavior is kind of random, I wonder that it is a restriction on the number of requests that a device can perform the carrier (by BIS) at the same time or something like that. Sometimes 15 images are always downloaded without problem.

  Now, the important thing, to circumvent the problem, what I'm trying to do is:

  Even if I add 15 images on the screen, only 3 images are visible at the same time (on the Curve 8520 in which I am testing now) so I'll try to find a way that only these 3 images run the download thread and when the user makes a scrolling to the bottom of the screen, the fields earning "visibility" on the screen start to run in their own thread too but didn't find a way to detect if a field of on the screen, and not only in the manager gains visibility of

  This might not work on all devices, but the first invocation of painting of the field is a good indicator.

  I am using windows 7 home 64 bit on HP Pavilion dv4-3031tx laptop. A few months ago I changed my DVD rom HP service center drive as the engraving option did not work. After changing, it was working fine. Now, the drive is not visible when I opened my computer. I installed all the drivers again from the recovery manager supplied by HP recovery disk, but it is still the same. Strange thing is when I insert my recovery disc and restart my boot of seleting for laptop to DVD option, can detect the disc and the approaches for installing the OS. If possible, I want to slove this problem rather than reinstall windows recovery disk I have tons of programs installed in HD. Please give an effective solution. I'm really worried.

  You can run the automatic setting, but I had more chance to do manual registry change which is also described on the link.

  This is called the problem of upper/lower case filters and is the very low level driver built-in to Windows.

• Sony 25 autofocus Points &amp; 117 detection of Phase Points A7 is not Visible...

  None of the AF points are visible on my camera. I can choose the area of focus and move it where, as I will, but not AF points. It comes with 25 Points and 117 Phase detection AF Points contrast detection autofocus... My canon 10 years SLR has also 7 AF points I can select.

  What is the problem of camera? Sony support is going to investigate?

  Not sure if this helps or answer your question but I selected the area of focus and chosen "soft."  Then, I am able to move the area of development with the directional pad with a moving camera.  (hope that makes sense).  Problem is that, once you take the picture you cannot go back quickly and move the area of interest, as I have Nikon w.  However, I found that if you press C1 it then you will allow to change the field of intervention.  Essentially, I was tryign to focus on an object almost out of the frame and saw to point directly on it, let him hold the focus, and then move the camera to manipulate photographed... no bueno...  This selection flexible spot fixed my problem.  Hope this helps.

  Bluetooth driver may need to be updated to work properly.  I would recommend to go to the support site for the manufacturer of the computer and update the drivers to see if that helps.

• Drive external DRIVE not detected after update of the Sierra

  I upgraded my Macbook Air Sierra this morning. Since then, whenever I plug in my external Seagate HDD, it is not detected in the Finder, or see a shortcut on the desktop. However, it is visible in disk utility.

  I connected the HARD drive even air to my friend Yosemite running, and it works as usual.

  You must add the SATA/RAID driver.
  Download from here:

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  I have a HP ENVY 17 - 3D was released in early 2012, running Windows 7.

  It has 1 HDMI port and 2 additional display ports. The graphics card is ATI HD 7690 M XT and supports switchable graphics on the fly.

  The processor chip is 2nd generation Intel Quad Core i7.

  Problem

  When I use the displayport cable "Displayport to DVI" connector active, my battery would not be detected, and the brightness of the computer screen laptop builtin automatically tops out at 100%, without the possibility of reducing its brightness in my custom settings powerplan (100% light is bright for me). I recently started to use the displayport to send video clips as extended desktop to an old monitor LCD of Sony, which has instead of the latest HDMI DVI. The HDMI port has now been connected to the flat screen TV. Even if I converted the portable/DVI on the old Sony HDMI signal, and only a monstercable adapter-nothing fancy, I never lost the features. This started to happen when I started using the display port...

  However, as soon as I return to the HDMI output that is unique to all monitors, my battery is still visible, and I can adjust the brightness of the screen through my powerplan again...

  This problem is only apparent when I use display port...

  Finally, the catalyst software is the original that came with the machine I can't update this because nothing else apparently takes in charge the switchable graphics and have had bad luck with the newer versions... If I'm wrong please let me know...

  What I try to do

  Very simply, the laptop's HDMI port will connect directly to a TV dish 1080 p SAMSUNG. This image is simply a mirror of the laptops display, which is also the same resolution - 1080 p. The old Sony monitor simply connects to the Displayport now via an active adapter 'Displayport - to - DVI' to use the extended desktop.

  Overall, it's just 1 screen flat TV cloned/updates mirrored on the laptops display in the same resolution (1080 p), and 1 smaller screen for the range of extended desktop. So 3 screens are light in total:

  Laptop + SAMSUNG TV via HDMI direct (in mirror and identical - the two 1080 p resolution)

  Monitor Sony via displayport using '-Displayport to DVI-' active adapter.

  Everything else works fine - I just lost my battery and the ability to control my screen brightness, which is huge for us with power outages and have reduced the brightness...

  If anyone has had this problem and what should I do?

  Thank you for the update.

  If you remove the battery and always start your laptop, you can use your laptop without the battery.  If you leave the battery installed you can still use it on current alternative.

  Please contact HP shopping for help in purchasing the correct battery. 1 800 hp direct (800-473-4732).

• Satellite A300d - new battery not detected

  I recently had a new battery PA3533U-1B SR / regarding my age Satellite a 300 d.
  When I put the new battery in the laptop, unplugged computer, press the power button, the Red battery light blinks several times, no power.

  When I plug the power to the laptop, the red light on the battery remains red as-if the load, once windows has loaded the battery shows as not detected.

  I have checked the connection and passed through Device Manager-uninstall/install, but came with no luck. It is the 3rd replacement battery, I had this company who have a very positive opinion. Is it my laptop or battery?

  I have a good battery minutes 20 faithful who recognizes all time and expenses without problem.
