Device problem

I have difficulties to find a MAX; the device is a multimeter of HP. I am connected via a GPIB/USB connection. Using the Agilent connection expert I can locate the device, there is no problem with the cable or the device itself.
I recently uninstalled/reinstalled the software NOR, so it is possible that I forgot to download and install a necessary program. I installed Labview 8.5, as well as the full VISA and VISA DURATION. In Labview, when I click on refresh to get VISAS, no device not developed.
The point about Agilent connection Agent had nothing to do with the instruments. I asked if you were using an Agilent GPIB controller.
To activate the Tulip, open MAX and expand the software list in the left window. Select NI-VISA and in the right window, exapnd General settings on the Options of VISA tab to show passports. Check on the passport of NI-VISA for Tulip.
There may be other necessary things if you are using an Agilent GPIB controller. Search the forum for the model number you use or do a search for Agilent GPIB.

Yes, it s dangerous to pull on the cable, because you can lose some data and the file system may be damaged. But if you have a situation where you need the drive to take with you and want to just get out the cable to the USB port there is a little trick to disconnect the security apparatus:Do right click on 'My Computer'-> click on Hardware-> click "devicemanager"-> go into "diskdrives"-> then you need to click on the drive that is your USB - HDD-> with the right button and then click on 'Properties'-> in the menu properties of this drive, you must go on "policies" and click on "optimize for quick removal"-> and then click OK and exit this menu and all-> perform a reboot-> closing information fact. :)
After that, it s safe for remove you your drive even if it s not ejected. :)

Peripheral Audio USB-Mulit-channel has a driver problem and PnP device problem.
I try to use the blue ice pre - amp for recording. Under channel-Mulit-USB Audio Device, device status, it displays "this device cannot start. (Code 10) "once I start the troubleshooting process it shows that even after reinstalling the driver it still does not work and that there is a problem with the device PnP I already tried to uninstall the driver and restart my laptop to let windows try again but nothing works. Whenever I connect any external devices like pen drive & sdcard, I can't write anything in them, that they are not protected in writing! But I can copy things from them, but I can not cut & paste anything on their part in my system. I can only copy & paste. Whenever I try to write anything he says 'YOU NEED of PERMISSION to PERFORM THIS ADMINISTRATIVE TASK' & after I click 'YES' it says "DESTINATION FOLDER ACCESS IS DENIED." I suggest you to disable the antivirus application and check the status of the issue. Refer to the following steps:
a: you should see an icon for your Antivirus program in the taskbar notification area. It is usually at the bottom right of your desktop.
b. click the third-party security software, you will see a pop up.
(c) in this pop and select the option to disable, click on it.
d. now third-party security software will be disabled.
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. Reboot and select good Boot Device problem - my PC does not start!
Hi all
Whenever I turn on my computer I get the message "Reboot and select proper boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press a key.
I checked the diagonistics material and these are the results:
Test CPU-
Hard drive: failure of the connection Test - Error Code: BIOHD1
Memory - past
I don't think that the issue is a faulty connection. My reason to believe so because I think that I had a virus on my computer (I was not able to confirm) I tried to delete the last time I was able to use the computer. Then I turned off the computer to restart, but unfortunately, that's when I got this error message.
I had this problem once before (about 3 years ago) and I was not able to solve this problem, so I just stopped using the PC. Then one day my Dad turned on the computer (a few months later) and it worked all of a sudden.
Anyone know what this problem is? How can I solve this problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for your time and effort!

It was originally a windows 7 PC, but I have upgraded to windows 10, which is the current operating system.

I managed to start my PC again.
I have unplugged all connections and left it that way for about 24 hours. Then I plugged everything back in and all of a sudden the PC worked again. I don't know if it will last, but right now it works.
I'll write another post if something changes.

I hope someone can help me with a problem I have with the sound on my satellite 1710/windows ME nd I really don't know much about accesoriess!
I've only had this machine for a few weeks (second hand) and the only sound I can get fromm, the machine is the starting beep, and I'm not 100% positive that it was never sound. Checking the audio option in the Panel shows actually no playback device in the preferred audio playback devices. I deleted the audio driver from the Device Manager and after a reboot has been installed a pilot audio crystal SoundFusion (TM) cs4281 wdm - but no luck with the sound, I'm afraid. I presume there must be asound card if generated startup notbook auto install the crystal software.Hello
Yes there is a device available audio crystal and it is normally detected by ME like in your case!
First of all, you must enter the BIOS with ESC after starting the laptop and load the default settings.
Do you have the Toshiba Recovery CD when you bought the laptop second hand? If so you should grab the laptop and unless the audio device does not work after that, it might be a hardware failure!

USB Mass Storage Device problem
I have the HP Pavilion Elite E9120f desktop computer. Whenever I start the computer, it shows that I have USB mass storage drives, G, H, I and J. However, there is no attached USB mass storage device. No one knows why this happens? I just usually click on the removal of the safety equipment and remove false devices. I get the message "this device can now be deleted without the computer problem. This machine runs Vista and has a 1 terabyte of hard drive. Thank you
Bart, have you checked in 'My Computer' when this happens to see if the drives are there? Almost looks like you have a virtual drive on your computer program. Check also in start/startup to see if he is there that nothing listed that could cause this to happen. Four readers Ghost is really strange.

I just installed Windows 7 on my Toshiba Satellite A210 - 1 4 and most of my hardware laptops works fine. However, there are 3 devices listed problem and I was wondering if you would be able to help me to identify them so that I can install the drivers.

Satellite A100 and USB audio device problem
I bought "toneport ux2 line6" and it does not work with my computer laptop (dual core 1, 73GHz, 1 GB ram, Windows Vista).
The problem is when I listen to music through this device, it looks I would look scratched CD, from time to time that there is a short interruption. The same thing happens when I'm with gearbox (software that allow you to play the electric guitar using audio device). I checked everything, including change Windows XP OS.
I have the latest drivers for the port of your (compatible vista), I downloaded 3.5 mechanism, only toneport is connected to my computer, I have disabled all installations flashing in vista, power management is scheduled for high performance. I disable the sound card. I checked my cell phone with line6 monkey and it says everything is ok. I checked the audio device on my friend's Office, and it works well.
I desperately need help.

In my opinion, you must be sure your laptop running fine and according to your assignment I do not here no problem.
So in your case you have problem with some additional equipment or third party software. Am I wrong? If there is a problem I see no reason to seek the solution with Toshiba. You should contact the manufacturers of all the devices and software that you use. They should have enough experience with own products and they should offer good support in troubleshooting.

I got tired of finding solution to it, or let's say 3 problems in one.
I reformat this laptop because of its slow and late development status.
When I finished reformatting, it is the wifi button does not work and remained orange light, which means it's off.
e I'v tried to plug it into the router via a cable (I forgot what it's called), then stil it doesn't work...
I also checked Device Manager and found them with "!" exclamation.
Problem controller Ethernet controller, PCI device and network.
I found this will never work...
Now, I did find the solution through the internet and found some but that did not work...

Audio device problem on Windows 8 64 Y510
Hello dear readers. I have a lot of problems with my audio devices after the operating system upgrade to windows 8 on my lenovo y510. First of all default settings and drivers that I am working as any other failure, are evidence of each pair of speakers (this particular machine has 2 x 2 speakers and a subwoofer) as different devices on my audio settings. This of course means that I can only listen to one channel which is frankly frustrating...
I tried to update the realtek drivers, and after restarting, I as a single device. With the help of those who suggested on lead lenovo horrible failure page, so I don't even bother. I think that this may be connected to the lack of software Dolby Home Theater, but all attempts to install it gave rise to a message "pceee is not installed.
Did anyone of you had similar problems on this laptop in particular?

Thanks for providing the attached files. I have determined that the cause of the problem may be due to a setting of simulation of IVI.
Currently, your IVI Driver Max sessions are configured so that simulate attribute is set to False. This means that real hardware must be connected when opening a session IVI instrument. If you do not have the hardware attached, then the call to initialize IVI fails (and potentially bad, depending on how the IVI specific driver manages an init call without hardware).
Import the NI Switch Executive configuration in .xml format does not cause a problem because simulate is always set to true in the call to initialize of IVI.
We will consider changing the import Excel in the future to also have always simulate the True value. Time, you can a) check the hardware is connected when you import Excel, or b) set the value "Simulate with" Max to 'Specific Driver' applicable IVI pilot sessions.
Example of setting "with"to simulate 'Specfic Driver' of MAX:

EliteBook 8440p: Base system device problems
I'm having a problem with the Base system device PCI bus 69, device 6, function 2 (code 28) on my Elitebook 8440p.
I was working on my laptop and my Wifi says "no connection available. I made the necessary troubleshooting and landed on it.
I've updated the paks, individually made chip so that other device drivers are updated and the system indicates that this driver is not available when I try to update. Any suggestions?

HP ENVY Notebook PC m6: biometric device problem
After I've updated for Windows 10, if I leave my active biometric device, my mouse pointer/cursor continuous flickering as if to show the system is busy.
I'm on the latest version of the driver for my hardware. Now, I am unable to use my fingerprint as my password.
The only way I knew to prevent this was to turn off my biometric from the Device Manager.
So I'm more able to make use of my material, even if its there on my laptop.
Please help me.
HP Simple pass seems to work, but the problem is that whenever the biometrics is selected, the mouse pointer continues to flicker.

I suggest you uninstall fingerprint driver or reinstall the version updated driver and HP SimplePass ultimate installed and reinstalled the latest version for Windows.
