Diagnosis need help cause BSOD on Windows Server SP2 Standard

Hello MS community.

I'm looking for some help determine why my server is suddenly freezing and crashing with increasing frequency.  According to the recommendations on the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Wiki, I downloaded a zip file of the .dmp files three more recent crash and MSinfo32 output for information on devices and drivers on the server exposes the problem: http://1drv.ms/1O3KqJ5

The server is a machine without brand, I had built several years running two processors Intel Xeon processor E5530 2.4 GHz with 20 GB of RAM (previously had 24 GB of RAM, but recently a SIM memory go bad then kidnapped the pair, including the problem without other problems so far).

Members of the community with diagnostic skills, I would appreciate your help to determine what the cause of the problem, so I can keep from recurring.  The server is a production for my small business machine and I'm a bit over my head on this one.  Thank you!

Kent

Auditor will crash the machine when the GIS behave driver is loaded.  Just an info because it's a production machine

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).

Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.  Launch auditor.  You don't need to run memtest again unless the auditor is not the cause, or you want to.

If you are overclocking anything reset by default before running these tests.
In other words STOP! If you don't know what it means that you're probably not

There is that for as much you can do with an error like this, checking until it boils down to a processor the motherboard and/or faulty (and probably the first) that needs to be replaced. Start from 1 and work down:

    1. make sure your temperatures are the norm and nothing is overheating. You can use a program such as Speccy if you want to monitor the time - http://www.piriform.com/speccy

2 clear your CMOS (or optimized load BIOS default) to ensure that there is no parameter incorrect BIOS - http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/tp/clearcmos.htm

    3. make sure that your BIOS is up to date.

4 the only software conflict causing usually * 124 finding bugs is the OS to the BIOS manufacturer as Asus AI Suite utilities. If you have something like this software-wise, remove it as soon as POSSIBLE.

5 run Memtest for NOT LESS than 8 ~ (several hours):

    Memtest86 +:

    Download Memtest86 + here:

    http://www.memtest.org/

    Which should I download?

You can either download the ISO pre-built you want to burn to a CD and then boot from the CD, or you can download the automatic installer of the USB. What this will do is format your USB drive, make a boot device and then install the necessary files. Both do the same job, it's just you that you choose, or you have available (be it CD or USB).

    How Memtest works:

Memtest86 writes a series of test patterns for most of the addresses of memory, reads the written data and compares it to find errors.

The default pass is 9 different tests, varying in the modes of access and test data. A tenth test, bland, is selectable in the menu. He wrote all the memory with zeros, then sleeps 90 minutes before checking to see if the bits have changed (perhaps because of refresh problems). This is repeated with all those for a total time of 3 hours by pass.

Many chipsets can report RAM speed and timings by SPD (Serial Presence Detect) or EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles), and some even support changing the expected memory speed. If the expected memory speed is overclockee, Memtest86 can test that memory is free of error with these faster settings.

Some hardware is able to report the status of the "PAT" (PAT: active or PAT: disabled). This is a reference to the Intel performance acceleration technology; There may be the BIOS settings that affect this aspect of memory synchronization.

This information, if it is available for the program, can be displayed via a menu option.

Other questions, they can most likely be answered by reading this excellent guide here:

6 if all else fails, the only one left to do is replace your CPU because it is defective.

  • Need help with my Mail window. I can't export my message to the PST format. I keep getting the message error "an error occurred during initialization of MAPI".

    Hello

Need help with my Mail window. I can't export my message to the PST format. I keep getting the message error "an error occurred during initialization of MAPI". Y at - it solution or another method?

    Hi ErikLee,

Do you have MS Outlook installed on your computer?

Windows mail import and export opportunities are limited to an Outlook .pst file or an Exchange Server mailbox. They are available only if MS Outlook is installed.
If MS Outlook is not installed and you start an import or export action, the necessary support files are not present for Windows mail complete the operation. Then I suggest you to install Outlook temporarily and see if the problem is resolved.

Follow the instructions below and check if the problem is resolved.

    1. reboot your computer, and then start Windows Mail.
    2. on the Tools menu, click Options.
    3. in the connection tab, click on edit to open the Internet Properties dialog box.
    4. in the tab programs, click on an application other than Windows mail e-mail in the e-mail list. Click on apply and then click OK.
    5. click OK again to close the Options dialog box.
    6. exit Windows mail and restart Windows mail.

If this does not work, I suggest you upgrade to Windows Live Mail to import or export messages that may help you resolve the issue.

To download Windows Live Mail, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

For more information about Windows Live Mail, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

Please post back and let us know if it helped to solve your problem.

It does not show the icon to start the program after downloading different parts...

Adobe products generally do not require a unpackager like winzip and are usually self-extracting.

Try the click with the right button on the exe and then clicking "Run as Administrator".

  • Windows Fax and Scan "Sender Name" empty (Windows Server 2008 Standard)

    Hi all

I am using Windows Server 2008 Standard (32-bit) with a RocketModem III card.  I have the latest drivers for the RocketModem.

Using Windows Fax and Scan, I can send and receive faxes fine.  The only problem is when I see the fax, the name of the sender is blank.  I am trying to display the telephone number that someone sends me the fax to.

I had thought it might also be under CSID, but everything I have complete options because it puts there.  I guess that means I want the CSID show for all those who sent faxes to me.

It might be worth noting that I have active CallerID and you have a real fax machine that shows the incoming number very well.

Does anyone have an idea where I could go wrong here?  Thanks in advance for the help!
