Dial-up modem for desktop p6777c

I recently bought a p6777c desktop computer that does not have a dial-up modem. Is it possible to install I have to go with an external or an internal dial-up modem on this computer?

Sure. Buy one and install it in available housing. Your PC, to a PCI-Express x 1 modem. There is no PCI slots on your motherboard. This is a selection to Newegg.com.

    I downloaded the mdm - GR - 20080410083448.zip file, but I put t know how to
    the content of the extracted files in order to run the installation.

    But you can buy an external Dial - up 56 K * USB. If you Google what it will show you different devices that connect USB.

  • Windows could not detect a dial-up modem

    Win 7 trying to get the dial modem to work.  When you try to set up a connection from the network and sharing Center numbering, I have 'Windows could not detect a dial-up modem.

    Modem is properly installed in the Device Manager and power light is on.  I know that the modem works because I tested it on a backup system.

    My research of troubleshooting led me to check Remote Access Connection Manager, which does not start and causes error 1068.

    Disable the security/firewall software and check if it helps.

    Unfortunately, he was unable for me to find a modem driver W2k on the Toshiba site. Also I m not 100% sure if the Win Xp driver works, but you can try it. If it doesn't work, you can restore the system back or remove the modem driver.
