Differences between individual images import and import a catalog

While doing tests to see why I was getting a look at a different image and settings when they are imported from 3 to 4, I hit something that solved this particular problem and also discovered another. It seems that there is a difference between individual 3 to 4 images, with exporters import and then import a catalog from 3 to 4. Now, if I have a test "catalog", not a picture (no curves involved custom tone), 3 to export and then import the catalog into 4, I get an exact match of the image settings and cursor. This was not the case for the individual images imported from 3 to 4 (this product sometimes subtle and sometimes very obvious differences in the image settings and looks.

The a peculiararity that I found is the default tone curve. If the image in 3 has a medium contrast tone curve, it appears in 4 with the same average tone curve (the image has not yet been updated PV2012 if the exclamation point is still there). However, if the original image 3 had a linear tone curve (not custom, but linear), he also appeared in 4 with a medium contrast tone curve to be resolved manually to linear to make a perfect match.

None of this has anything to do with the problem of having curves "custom" in 3 not pour into 4 correctly. This seems to be another issue.

When putting an image in LR3 to linear, you realize that the metadata is in the catalog, not the record, right? If you make an adjustment LR3 you save metadata to file. This change should be picked up when importing to LR4.

  • What is the most important difference between 3D Picture control and controlling the display of Simulator

I want to create a simulation of 3D on the front panel, and I see that we can use a 3D image control or a display of Simulator control. It seems that each of them can be used at the same position. What is the most important difference between 3D Picture control and display of Simulator?

    Hi sfh1,

You are right, I found examples of Robotics that use 3D photo control and display Simulator control to display a scene 3D on the front panel. After further research, it seems that control the display of Simulator adds additional features compared to the 3D picture control. The control displays Simulator allows the user to right-click control during execution and change the background color, draw fashion, draw contact, view the ID of robot, display sensor data, suspension of service Simulator and reset service Simulator.

More in depth on these options and the display of control Simulator can be found here:

  • What the difference between the $29.00 and $1 099 in terms of features?

I want to buy the software but I m so uncertain ante Adobe phones DO NOT work properly... What the difference between the $29.00 and $1 099 in terms of features?

There is no real difference at all, it is the same app, same features.

The $ 29 subscription means that you 'Rent' the application, you will have all the upgrades and patches during your free subscription. You can have two versions installed, but no more with this license. In addition, it is related to your personal Adobe ID.

The perpetual license means that you have the application, it can use 'forever', and it is NOT linked to your Adobe ID when a new version appears that you will have to pay for the upgrade (if possible). You can have as many versions on your system you want with perpetual licenses. This can be important if you need to work for clients that use older versions.

ATTENTION: I am only a user, does not not for Adobe, that's what I see as the major differences. Crossing my fingers that someone from the staff will give you more details.

  • Difference between Date of invoice and Date GL accounting Date Oracle AP

    Hello

I have a question that might help a lot of people too late.
I tried to run these queries
    Select aia. INVOICE_ID
    of AP_INVOICES_ALL aia, aida AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL
    where aia. INVOICE_ID = aida. INVOICE_ID
    and aia. INVOICE_DATE <>aida. ACCOUNTING_DATE

    Select aia. INVOICE_ID
    of AP_INVOICES_ALL aia, aida AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL
    where aia. INVOICE_ID = aida. INVOICE_ID
    and aia.GL_DATE <>aida. ACCOUNTING_DATE

I see that there are a lot of results for these queries, where the Date of the invoice is not equal to the posting date and of the GL_Date of an invoice does not match the posting date in the distribution table.
So, what is the difference between these dates.
And if I had to take the date of posting of the invoice of the document, the date on which I have to take for these invoices in AP

    Thank you
    Bob

    Hello

    Date of GL:

The date used to determine the right time of accounting for the transactions of your invoice and payment of GL. You assign a GL Date on your invoice during invoice entry
and your payments during the creation of payment.

    Date of invoice:

The invoice date that you assign to an invoice, you enter in Payables. Accounts payable uses this date to calculate the invoice due date, the terms of payment of the invoice. The invoice date may be the date of the invoice, or it can be another date that you specify.

    Posting date:

The GL Date for distributions of the invoice. If you do not enter a value here or enter a value for GL Date when you submit Payables Open Interface Import, accounts payable will allocate a GL Date based on the GL Date set in the region of the invoice of the Payables Options window.

  • What is the difference between HP Photo Creations and Snapfish

    I've been curious.

What is the difference between HP Photo Creations and Snapfish?

Hi Jeff17866. The difference between these two services are the location, accessibility and share-ability of the recorded images. Snapfish is a photo on the web edition and sharing and belonged to printing HP service. You upload your images on the Snapfish site and share with other sites (Facebook, Flickr, etc) by selecting the appropriate options. The images are then stored on the cloud, and you will be able to access it from any device with Internet access. So, if you want to easily share your photos with your friends and family around the country, Snapfish is a great tool to do. HP Photo Creations is a photo editing software that you download to your desktop. You can edit your photos and order prints just as with Snapfish, but all pictures remain on your hard drive. They can be shared by downloading files on the sites you want the images appear, but you are not able to access it on other devices. -Chauntain

  • What is the difference between a mixture, Fix and Express?

I use regular PS on my computer but wanted to use a similar app on my ipad.  Then I saw that there was a choice (ahhh!)   What is the difference between a mixture, Fix and Express?

    Hi Steve!

    Thanks for reaching out.

Difficulty: Adobe free new Photoshop Fix, capture CC apps enhance your photographs and capture assets | PCWorld

Fixed introduced options that allow you to 'fix' and enhance your images in photo editing.

Mix: photo and image editor app | Download Adobe Photoshop Mix

Mix presents the composition options. This means that you can combine several images, cut out backgrounds and active layer.

Express: Photoshop Express is like a version blocked Photoshop with an interface that looks like the desktop application.

Thus, with respect to the app you choose, it really depends on what you would use it for. Do one of these hopeful sounds?

    Let me know!

  • Exact differences between two images

I need to be able to tell the difference between two images of a pastel artwork.

The first image is of the piece, to be hung on a wall or placed on a table.

The second is a photo of the piece after it has been moved, shaken or vibrated during which time particles were moved.

I tried superimposing the two images and see the difference between the layers.  The images never seem to perfectly align along the lines of reference drawn in ink on the piece, and I do not understand the presentation of grayscale of the layer mode of difference.  I would like to know if anyone has any photographic photoshopic, or insightful ideas on how to capture this specific detail of change.  Another big challenge is now the images themselves to the exact distance and exposure to the room at the before and after photos, especially if they were taken in two different places on different dates.

Best I can think of is to load into Photoshop layers >, select the two layers and go Edit > auto alignment of layers.  Then to the blending mode of the layer from the top to the difference.

You can test so that you know what to expect by opening an image and copy the layer of BG and setting the blending mode of the layer copied the difference.  It will show as a pure black.  Now make tiny changes to the upper layer.

  • What is the difference between the field blur and Gaussian blur?

What is the difference between the field blur and Gaussian blur?

The basic differences are that blur the line field the way a camera lens would be "fuzzy" your image (in fact, it puts a grey area), and the blur of the field has the tools to help to accentuate how the lens captures the reflective light. Gaussian Blur is more than a fuzzy set, or softening of all pixels.

The following example illustrates the blur field making specular white areas and Gaussian blur, making all the pixels that are just as soft.

I highly recommend to take a look at these links as well:
